Enter the world of the Unbelievable and the Bizarre at Ripley’s Believe it or Not Amsterdam. This Amsterdam museum, which is an attraction at the same time, showcases the world’s most remarkable collection of natural, scientific, artistic, and human oddities. Just like a time capsule, the imposing five-story building Ripley’s Believe it or Not Amsterdam merges the essence of ancient civilizations and contemporary art in an attempt to preserve these treasures for future generations. People say it’s one of the weirdest spots in the city, but a must-see in Amsterdam if you’re interested in odd facts.

An amazing experience! Ripley’s Believe It or Not! in Amsterdam is definitely worth a visit. There are so many fascinating, crazy, and surprising things to discover. The exhibition is varied, exciting, and really fun. You can try different things, be amazed, and make great memories. The location is also excellent, making it easy to combine your visit with a walk around the city. Overall, a unique experience that I would definitely recommend to everyone!
very nice i will come again to this place
Very good i liked it a lot and it was very fun do reccomend
Very fun! We had a nice experience and it was good for family
Very fun, try the spinning tunnel
Very impressed good displays and a lot of instresting facts well.laid good value for money 10/10 and loads of places to take pictures Highly recommend this who likes unusual and weird things
staff were lovely and so helpful! would recommend visiting
Well worth a visit, give a generous amount of time to be able to get the best from the experience
Very fun experience, staff friendly.
The lady who served us was really friendly and inviting! She helped us greatly.
Quite a nice little museum of the wierd and wonderful 😊. Ok for something different to do
Happy time enjoy the adventure
A complete tourist trap and by far the most disappointing attraction we visited in Amsterdam. We visited Ripley’s with our 6-year-old child and honestly couldn’t believe how little you get for the price. We finished the entire attraction in around 20 minutes. During the same trip, we visited NEMO Science Museum and the Rijksmuseum for roughly comparable ticket prices, and the difference is enormous. Both offer hours of interesting, high-quality content and feel genuinely worth the admission price. Ripley’s simply doesn’t. It feels designed to attract tourists, charge a high entrance fee, and offer very little in return. For us, it was a complete waste of money. Amsterdam has so many excellent museums and attractions that I would strongly recommend spending your money elsewhere. Definitely not worth the price.
Very good experience overall. Fee is good value, about 1 hour visit
It was much better than we expected. Lots to see and great photo opportunities. The staff were lovely especially the lady in the cafe on the fourth floor who assisted us kindly when we lost our photo QR code card. It wasn’t overly busy so we could take pictures without people ease. Would recommend going for fun.
Museum itself was fine, a few interactive bits but would have benefitted from more. Highlight was the server in the cafe, he was excellent and a credit to you.
Amazing, never watched it on Tv prior to visiting. My 13 year old son absolutely loved it and was mesmerised by it all. Highly recommend even for the stroppiest teenagers
My 10 year old daughter absolutely loved it here. It is fun for kids and adults and the staff on reception were super friendly. If you want to get away for the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam then this is the place to be. Highly recommended
To be honest, good concept, executed poorly. Too many boring irrelevant parts and not as interactive as advertised. expensive based on the 20 minutes it takes to walk round!!!! Could be fun for kids but absolutely not worth the money.
Well priced, easy to get to. We found it really interesting. Very good visit. Would recommend for adults and children.
We had the best experience! Such a cool place and the staff are so friendly! Shout out to Elena who was a massive help with the photos- thank you
I will like to really thank Karolis for his great help. The place has some really interesting facts and the light tunnel is something that one must experience
It was a really exiting experience, me and my friend randomly decided to go just for fun. We never expected it to be so much fun. There were a lot of great spots to take selfies and there was even a really cool optic illusion where you enter a dark spinning tunnel which makes it feel like you are constantly falling. The staff were great, shout out to Karolis and the girl at the desk who were really nice and helpful! This experience is really worth your money and time!
Located near the Dam Square in the heart of Amsterdam, this museum is a good option to spend at least 2 hours either on a sunny or rainy days and see the the collections by Ripley and amazing things you wouldn't believe until you'll see them.
Ripley's Believe It or Not! Amsterdam was an amazing experience and definitely one of the highlights of our trip. There was so much to see, from strange and fascinating exhibits to interactive activities that made the visit really fun. The attraction is spread over several floors, and every room has something different to discover. We loved how unique and surprising everything was, and there were plenty of opportunities to take photos along the way. The official photo package cost €12.50, which we thought was a reasonable price for a nice souvenir. The staff were friendly, and the whole experience was entertaining from start to finish. Overall, we had an awesome time and would definitely recommend Ripley's Believe It or Not! to anyone visiting Amsterdam. It's absolutely worth a visit.
Amazing and friendly staff!! So helpful!! Louisa, Natalia and Ioana were brilliant. So kind and caring. My husband is in a wheelchair and it is very accessible and easy to navigate! Amazing museum! Price for ticket is a little expensive but worth it, you can spend hours in there! Thanks to all the staff who made our trip great! Highly recommend this!
Travelled from Wales with family. Absolutely amazing experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is a must!! Stopped at the coffee shop whilst waiting for our photos and cannot say enough about Emma and Karolis. They were the nicest people we've met in a long time. They deserve a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ each and should get a raise 🤩 Thank you very much both (we loved our photos and coffees 😉😉)
You can believe it or not….but Ripleys Amsterdam was one incredible experience and such a great part of the experience. Incredibly fascinating place and experience made even better by the wonderful staff especially Tilna.
It was fun and very interactive
A brilliant and quirky place that offers a completely unique experience in Amsterdam! It is packed with fascinating exhibits, interactive displays, and unbelievable facts that keep you entertained from start to finish. A fantastic and fun escape from traditional museums, perfect for all ages!
I quite enjoyed looking at the different things that where there, it was enjoying knowledgeable.
Karolis have made our visit an exceptional experience. After interact with Karolis, he can manage to create and elevate the atmosphere to the top. Karolis you are the legend of this legendary Museum.
Brillaint museum. Lots to see and do, lovely staff
Fun experience for all ages to go on and good learning experience and air conditioned the place so even if hot outside
Absolutely loved this experience it was so fun and interesting. All of the staff were amazing but Karolis went above and beyond to make our experience extra special. Would definitely come again.
Had a brilliant visit to Ripley’s Believe It or Not! today. The café on the fourth floor was lovely, and Bruno the server was so welcoming and friendly — he had everyone laughing and really made the experience even better. The venue itself was full of amazing facts and interesting exhibits, although I did have my own walking encyclopedia with me — my hubby! 😂 Definitely worth a visit for all ages.
Loved this place so so much! Filled with amazing artefacts, facts, interactive areas and much more. Best activity in Amsterdam!
This was so good! Funny and interesting at ans time!
Great experience! Great place to visit and come back for sure! Any small problem to solve the team do in a professional way, starting with the manager Bruno who it was 5 stars! Obviously, I recommend!
Not sure if I enjoyed this or not really. Was a little let down if I’m honest. Didn’t seem to flow once inside, lots crammed in and no wow factor.
Fantastic thing to do. Very interesting! Some of the displays were very funny. Not what you see everyday!
Great Experience would definitely recommend fun for all ages staff all polite and helpful
Great experience! Very friendly staff and great museum! So many fun, interesting and odd facts, a real experience for the brain too! Very different than most museums! Would definitely recommend!
The staff were friendly but the actual Ripley’s was boring. The kids (teens) were underwhelmed to say the least
Expensive, notthing new. Did not amaze us in anyway. It is more a museum of random things than, unbelievably or interesting.
Some amazing things in this collection that can only be seen here regardless of other Ripley Museums throughout the world. If you like learning and seeing some amazing things from around the world and gaining knowledge of some fascinating things then this is a must to do as adults and with your children! Spread out over 4 floors (I think) some incredible Olympic torches to seeing life size world record achievers and some proper weird but wonderful things from all over the land and sea and air!
Amazing experience, gain an insight into Ripley's life. Lots to experience and lots of cool history. Me and my husband spent about 2 hours visiting, worth the money!
we went just as it opened so got straight in with no queue. staff were really polite and helpful. it lasted us around an hour which was enough time for us for the price spent.
This is an insightful trip that is independent which I loved and there is so much to learn and enjoy
