Private Skip-the-line Keukenhof & Tulip Field Tour From Amsterdam

The tulips and the grounds were unbelievably beautiful. Once in a lifetime adventure truly a bucket list thing to do. The guide/driver made our trip very pleasant.

The Skip the line was a great experience, especially on a busy day. Our Driver had a recorded audio that explained why and how the garden came to be. The flowers themselves are spectacular even on the final season of tulips. On our day the fields had already been deadheaded. So we missed the field experience which was disappointing.

Sam was an exceptional driver and guide. He was VERY professional, kind and informative. The tulips were amazing. 2,000 different kinds in all colors, patterns and configurations of petals. Unlimited photo opportunities! A “not to be missed tour” for the seven weeks in spring that the gardens are open.

Our Driver Sam was wonderful! He was punctual, very informative, took us straight to the front of the line. we just sat back and left all the details to him. I would 100% use them again!

Great experience! Terry picked us up at our hotel. He drove us to the gardens and escorted us to the gate where he used the tickets for entry. We enjoyed the colorful flowers. When finished he took us to a few more tulip fields where we could get photos and he also showed us a windmill. Terry is very knowledgeable. It was a wonderful experience.

An amazing afternoon seeing the vast tulip display, plus our driver TJ took us to a few other places to see even more beauty. A+ rating. Would highly recommend to anyone to use a personal driver like TJ with skip the line entrance.

The gardens are breathtaking! Beauty everywhere you look. Yes, it’s crowded, but everyone is pleasant. TJ our guide was knowledgeable and engaging. He added some great side trips that were fun.

Visiting Keukenhof was a bucket list item for me and did not disappoint. Our driver, TJ, was extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. He took us to several off the beaten path sights and shared an amazing insights on the history of the tulip business. Highly recommend!

TJ was our driver/ guide and he was terrific. He was punctual, knowledgeable, friendly and it was a pleasure to spend the time with him. It was a little early for the flowers to be in full bloom but the Kukenhof made up for it

TJ was very accommodating, friendly and knowledgeable, The tour is worth it if you are short on time and you do not want to stress about getting there and back safely.

We did the solo tour which was very good and stress free. Pick up at the hotel and ready to collect us when we had finished at the keukenhof gardens. Our driver sam was very attentive for our every wish.

We were picked up on time. And stopped at a couple of tulip fields on the way to Keukenhof. Sam our driver walked us into the park and told us where to meet him afterwards. We kept in contact by text and he was ready and waiting when we were finished. He offered to drop us off for lunch and then come back and drive us to our river boat. He sent Danny to pick us up at the restaurant and he was also right on time and very pleasant. Overall, it was a great day and would not hesitate to use them again.

We had Sam as our driver for the Keukenhof Tulio tour. He was very nice to also take us to different tulip fields . Car was very comfortable too. We will deffinetly hire him again to go in future trips

From our pick up at the hotel, until the tour was completed, we were very nicely taken care of by our drivers. We had a large group of 12 and everything was fantastic.

TJ was our guide and we couldn't have asked for a better person. He answered all of our questions, tried his best to give us the best experience and was so attentive. We are so happy that we took this trip with TJ and not on some big tour bus. Thank you for making our time in Amsterdam memorable.

Due to a future tour, we had to cancel our original tour and selected this one. Definitely was a smart move on our part and “Wow”! Robert was our driver and arrived, early and ready to rock! He was dressed to the 9’s and we received an upgraded vehicle, which was immaculate and a very nice ride! Robert, though essentially there to drive us, was a very good communicator and shared insight and information about the gardens as well as the Netherlands. He was bright, friendly and had some interesting insight which we appreciated. Upon arrival, he walked us to the gardens, collected a map for us and informed us of his location once we completed our time in the gardens. If I stated the words; “Oh My God!” it would have not scratched the surface of what we saw inside the gardens. Everything was in full bloom and many of the flowers were to be harvested shortly after we viewed them! With over 800 different varieties of tulips your will lose your mind (if you appreciate colors) as you pass from collection to collection, looking at the ground for the different types and arrangements, to looking up and admiring the cherry/apple trees that were in full bloom! I am now reviewing my photos and I have over 850 to go through……… Once we were finished, we communicated with Robert via whats app and he was at the vehicle as he stated he would be and promptly returned us to the hotel. Definitely a once in a life time experience and we cannot wait to resee all the photos of what we saw (though the pictures do not compare to the living the experience). Cannot recommend Robert this this tour enough!

Keukenhof is absolutely worth seeing. We feel misled by Viator and were shocked that a “tour” did not include a guide or tickets. They only arranged a driver, Sam who was great. Would not use Viator for this experience and didn’t need a guide.

Tour was advertised as a visit to tulip field and skip the line to Keukenhof Gardens sightseeing tour to Amsterdam in a Mercedes with wifi access. Instead it was a driver in a Tesla (not a guide for sightseeing) straight to the gardens and back with no skip the line access. We paid over 500 euros for a decent taxi ride. Had to wait in line and spend another approx 80 euros to buy tickets and wait in line again to get inside. No tulip field visit and no sightseeing or conversation on the way. When the driver called the tour operator the driver was yelled at by the tour operator. Driver told us he had just been hired to drive us there and back nothing more. Driver was nice but had no control over the situation and wasn’t a sightseeing person. Worst experience ever and a bait and switch and a waste of money. I have lodged a complaint with Viator and am waiting to see if I get at partial refund as all we got was a taxi ride

Rolf, our guide, brought to life the stories behind the paintings and the artists with history and culture woven in. He was truly excellent.

Sam was AMAZING! He made my friend and I feel comfortable, important and gave us the VIP treatment. Sam was always eager to take our photos and ensure we got to see all of the sights Amsterdam had to offer. He knew all of the locals working at the tourist spots so we had private 1 on 1 tours and got behind the scenes knowledge/privileges. I would highly recommend booking this tour

The private tour is the only way to see Keukenhof. The crowds are enormous, but our driver/guide Terry made the trip so pleasant. We cannot recommend him more highly. He is the absolute pro, who made the trip so much more enjoyable. As for the tulips, hyacinths, frites, petting zoo, and everything else, Keukenhof is a bucket list item to definitely check off. Just magical (even in the rain)!

I can't say enough kind words about our experience with Safar Limousine Service. We had a group of 10 and required two vans. Our drivers, Sam and Tjeerd "TJ", were the consummate professionals. The vans were immaculate and both were impeccable in dress and manner. TJ was an expert in all things Holland giving us great information about everything from tulips to local politics. Sam made sure we had VIP treatment wherever we went, taking us in backdoors, finding the best photo opportunities and even arranging a great lunch spot that could accommodate 10 people on short notice. They picked us up at our hotel and we spent the majority of the day with them traveling first to Keukenhof to see the tulips and then the windmill village of Zaans Schans. I wish I could give them 10 stars - I wish more businesses had this level of service. I will definitely use them again on our next trip to Amsterdam!

We really enjoyed the tour. Our driver Sam was very flexible and informative. He shared lots of local history with us, and got us right in to the gardens on a busy day. He met us afterwards at the agreed time and drove us home. We found his service very professional. Very worthwhile.

Our driver Clyde was professional safe and knowledgeable. Unfortunately, our downloaded tickets did not work so we needed to go to a shed in the parking lot where we needed to obtain working and valid tickets. The “agent” could not understand why our tickets did not work, and really had an attitude- don’t bother me. The tickets worked and we had a great self guided tour of the gardens. Private tour really means a private diver and car to the gardens and not private tour. Bottom line we could have gotten to and from Amsterdam and into the gardens much cheaper for our self guided tor.

Our driver, Douwe, was wonderful. He pointed out places of interest on the way to Keukenhof and connected with us by sharing stories about himself and asking us about our travels. Excellent driver, who clearly loves his job! Keukenhof was even more spectacular than we imagined. For two hours, we wandered around admiring all the different varieties, taking pictures and catching glimpses of the tulip fields. We even saw several of the “mistakes” that Douwe to,d us about (when a bulb is mistakenly left buried and blooms amidst a different color from the new planting. When we returned to our meeting spot, Douwe had moved the transport car nearer to cut down on our walk. He then took us to some truly magnificent tulip fields, took great photos of us, and then, on the way back to Amsterdam, stopped at one of 5e two windmills left in Amsterdam. Again, he took some great pictures for us. He then dropped us at the Albert Cuyp market so that we could find a replacement for a broken suitcase; he even told us exactly where to go. All in all a great day and a new friend!

Sam was a wonderful host. While driving to our destination he pointed out interesting sites. He even stopped at some picturesque spots and took our picture. Also, since the tulips weren’t quite in their glory, he decided to bring us to the Tulip Experience and we truly appreciated his decision. When finally reaching Keukenhof, he brought to the ticket booth and made sure we were taken care of. 5 star service!!

OUTSTANDING!!! A trip to Amsterdam is not complete without a visit to Keukenhof. We had an absolutely wonderful time walking around the tulip grounds. It's a shame it's only open for 6 weeks. Our driver was Sam... absolutely the best!! It was our daughter's 15th birthday and he even brought her a small gift.

Great cab ride, especially the charger and the waters. Would come back anytime to redo to this cab ride in amsterdam tonight
