We got to see a lot of the surrounding countryside outside of Amsterdam. Lunch was a bit disappointing (Spinios?). More of a truck stop. We would have preferred something a bit nicer.

Itinerary
The 800 meters long Erasmus Bridge is the connection between the northern and southern parts of Rotterdam. The suspension bridge over the Maas has a 139-meter-high steel pylon, which is mounted with 40 taps. Because of the shape of the pylon, the bridge got the nickname "De Zwaan". The Erasmus Bridge is the icon of the city of Rotterdam.
Discover De Rotterdam, one of the city’s most striking architectural landmarks. You will admire the modern design of this massive, multi-purpose building, often called a “vertical city,” featuring offices, apartments, restaurants, and event spaces. Learn about its innovative construction, unique design by architect Rem Koolhaas, and its role in shaping Rotterdam’s skyline. Capture stunning photos of the building from the waterfront and surrounding areas, and enjoy views of the city’s harbor and urban landscape. This experience offers a fascinating glimpse into contemporary architecture and Rotterdam’s dynamic city life.
See the Euromast, Rotterdam’s iconic observation tower, from the comfort of your vehicle. Admire its striking modern design and towering presence as you drive past, and learn about its history and significance in the city skyline. Capture photos from your car while enjoying views of the surrounding urban landscape and the harbor. This quick stop gives you a glimpse of one of Rotterdam’s most famous landmarks without leaving your seat.
Explore the Oude Haven, Rotterdam’s historic harbor, and soak in its vibrant atmosphere. Learn about the harbor’s maritime history and its transformation into a popular cultural hotspot. The Rotterdam cube house has been an architectural phenomenon for more than 30 years. After curious bystanders kept ringing the bell to look inside, a smart resident opened the "Kijk-Kubus". Here, visitors get the chance to view a fully furnished Cube House from the inside. It also shows the challenges of living in a Cube House, such as finding furniture for a house without straight walls. The result is a structure that you will not find anywhere else in the world.
Discover the Markthal, Rotterdam’s vibrant indoor market and architectural landmark. Have a lunch break or shopping break as you admire the striking horseshoe-shaped building and its colorful ceiling artwork. Learn about the building’s unique design and its role in blending modern architecture with daily city life. On arrival, watch how Holland’s iconic blue-and-white Delft pottery is produced at Royal Delft, the only remaining earthenware factory from the Golden Age of the 17th century. View a large collection of Delft antiques at the museum and marvel at a likeness of Rembrandt's The Night Watch reproduced with original Delft blue tiles. Right after that, we will move on to the Oude Kerk, a Gothic Protestant church in the old city centre of Delft. Family members of the Royal who passed away are buried under this church. Next, visit the Nieuwe Kerk, an impressive late-Gothic church known for its towering spire and rich history. It houses the tombs of the Dutch royal family and offers a stunning view of the city from its tower, providing insight into Delft’s royal heritage and architectural beauty.
Explore the Binnenhof, the historic heart of Dutch politics and one of the Netherlands’ most iconic landmarks. Travelers will admire the stunning Gothic architecture of the medieval complex, including the Ridderzaal (Hall of Knights), and learn about its central role in Dutch governance. Nice tour from Amsterdam to see other parts of the Netherlands that many visitors don’t get to see. Rotterdam such the modern city, Delft the well preserved city and The Hague as a center of national and international politics and justice. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had information bits he played for us about the things we were going to see along the way. The guide got us to each place quickly and efficiently so we made great use of our tour time. Recommend this tour if you want to see more of the Netherlands!
We had a great driver/guide by the name of Sam. It was so nice to be chauffeured in our own car. A little luxury but worth it! Sam took us to the key highlights in each place. He gave us background information on the places visited. It was A great way to pack in a lot of destinations in a day.
I highly recommend this private tour that we booked with Viator. Rasheed was a great tour guide for our "Rotterdam, The Hague, Delft Private Tour from Amsterdam." All six in our group had a fantastic day visiting these three beautiful cities. Rotterdam was amazing with great architecture and art, but Delft was our favorite, with so much history and so cute and quaint! We all bought ceramics, of course! Rasheed was genuinely nice, knowledgeable, and super accommodating. He kept on saying that it was OUR tour, so he would stop or take us wherever we wanted to go. We never felt rushed, and Rasheed always had great suggestions for the best photo stops! The tour was supposed to be 8 hours long, but we ended up being out for 11 hours! All six of us had a memorable day! Thanks Rasheed!
Sam, our superb driver/guide/photographer was great. The day spent in Rotterdam, Delft and The Hague was well-spent mainly because Sam organized the day well. Highly recommended!
Sam was a fantastic guide, had a great experience, was able to tailor the stops to our interests, highly recommend
The Best Guide, knowledgeable, fun, patient as we move slow.
We had a blast touring the various cities! Sam was extremely professional, curated a fun itinerary, and had great insights for the cities we visited- not to mention he served as our photographer all day long! I would do this tour with others folks again.
We loved our tour. We got to see so much in a day thanks to Danny! Go hungry so you can grab a bite at the beautiful Rotterdam market. The Delft factory was incredible. Leave enough time to wander at the beach.
Great tour, Sam the driver was a brilliant, informative and interesting man who looked after us well. The tour is fun,we all learnt a lot and had a fantastic day.
We booked this last minute and there was no contact from the operator, so I was a little nervous, but driver showed up promptly at designated time. Friendly, informative, and willing to adjust to our preferences to spend more or less time in certain places. Whirlwind tour is great way to see highlights of several cities in one day.
Try other cities besides Amsterdam and you’ll be pleasantly surprised, visit Rotterdam and the Hague
Fun day spent riding over to, and seeing Rotterdam. a quick walk through a very modern architecturaly modern apartment house.
We thoroughly enjoyed our day in South Holland. The itinerary covered very interesting, varied places. Our guide and driver, Danny, was friendly and knowledgeable. We learned a lot and would readily go on another tour with this tour provider!
Excellent tour. Danny was very knowledgeable and customized the tour to our needs. As a result we were able to see more of what we wanted and skip the the parts of no interest to us. We would definitely recommend this tour.
A wonderful tour with Sam , i really enjoyed the wonderful experience "visiting Rotterdam " with Sam . i really recommend Sam
What a wonderful trip - Sam is a very professional tour guid = full of knowledge , experience . To the last minute of the trip he was making sure that I enjoy every moment of the trip .thank you so much Sam
Sam was excellent. This was a day of luxury. The previous day we took a large group tour with lots of walking so this was a welcomed treat. Sam picked us up at our hotel. Took us to Rotterdam, Delft and The Hague. We saw many sights and had good conversation with Sam. We went inside a Cube House, saw a pottery factory, stopped at the city center in Delft, the Peace Palace in The Hague and much more. I highly recommend this tour.
Wonderful day! The previous day we did a long group tour with lots of walking so this private tour was a welcomed treat. Sam picked us up at our hotel and drove us to Rotterdam, Delft and The Hague. We went inside a Cube house, saw a pottery factory, saw the Peace Palace and much more. We had a wonderful lunch. The conversation with Sam was easy. The whole day was a joy. Sam drove us right up to the entrances and made everything easy. The limousine van was very comfortable.
A Very enjoyable day travelling to Rotterdam, Delft and The Hague in a very clean, comfortable and well maintained vehicle. Sam our driver did an excellent job. He was very pleasant and informative and made sure we had a great day out. We have no hesitation in recommending him and this tour to anyone.
We had one day to tour and we choice this tour. It did not disappoint. We were able to see the Hague, Rotterdam and the Delft pottery museum. Our guide Sam took us to up close and personal sites as well as, stops just to take pictures. The place we stopped for lunch was amazing (I couldn't have found this place if I was paid too) very local and great atmosphere. Highly recommend!
Sam is the best! Professional, attentive and he tailored the tour to me and my family’s needs. He went out of his way to take us to a restaurant we wanted for lunch and even built in a trip to Madurodam and was able to get us a discount. We must’ve saw 30 different sites between 4 cities. It was fantastic. He was knowledgeable about all of the Netherlands and a delight to travel with. My kids loved him! Would absolutely book another trip with Sam and Safar Limousine!
The tour wouldn't have been quite as magical without my wonderful driver mr Sam. Absolutely perfect.
Our driver, Danny, was polite and courteous. He was somewhat informative. We saw the cube houses, The Hague, Delft tour (which I was under the impression that the cost was part of the tour, but we had to pay) we went to the market and the new and old church which had a big square and lots of little cafes to eat on side streets nearby. Danny said we couldn’t eat there because of parking. He took us to a place further away that was basically a chain — disappointing. It rained, not his fault, so the beach visit got cut short. It was an expensive tour and I think our guide was just a little too inexperienced.
Sam, our driver / tour guide, showed us the highlights of the country in one packed day. He had a great lunch spot picked out, and allowed us to stretch the itinerary where we were interested, and skip certain parts if we weren't. As a result, we got a true custom experience. Highly recommended!
I ordered a South Holland private tour at this company. The driver was already 15 minutes before time, waiting for us at the hotel. I was very happy about that. He offered a great service and gave us through the day bottles of cold water. He brought us to the most beautiful places in South Holland and gave us a great tour. The driver is very polite and speaks perfect English. This company is very professional!
Our tour guide, Jerry, was very knowledgeable and made us feel at home. We enjoyed visiting the Rotterdam bridge, the new market, Delft pottery and The Hague.
Unbeatable service, our driver guide (Sam) did an excellent job, he took us to all the places, he explained everything to us and gave us excellent recommendations, after this we requested him for more activities and transportation to other places and to the airport and each time was better, a personalized service, Thanks to our driver(Sam) it was a beautiful experiencia in Netherlands
