Nice boat. Captain was very friendly. My mom is older and he was very patient helping her in and out of the boat. It was a very relaxing way to explore Amsterdam’s canals.

The experience was fantastic, seeing the sunset and the bridge lights in a private tour in a classic boat. Our captain, Robertino, was fantastic. He went out of his way to make our trip memorable and dropped us off close to our hotel.

From the very start, he asked what kind of experience we’d like, and he struck the perfect balance between sharing insights and giving us space to enjoy the canals together. We adored the route he chose for us - a beautiful mix of iconic sights and quiet stretches that felt like our own private Amsterdam. What made it even more memorable was how kind he was to drop us off close to our next destination, which made the whole evening seamless. This was such a memorable way to celebrate, and I’m already looking forward to booking again later this year to share the experience with family. I can’t recommend Robertino and The Boat Boys enough!

My wife and I had a fantastic time on our tour with Scott. It was so nice to have the boat to ourselves. Yes, it's more expensive than taking a larger tour boat and yes it's worth it! Scott was really knowledgeable about the history of Amsterdam and the architecture.

The booking process was quick and easy. The company responded right away with information of where to meet and add on options. The boat, Undine, was perfect for the six of us. Our captain/guide, Cedric (apology if I get the name wrong), was excellent. He shared many interesting facts and was able to answer all our questions. It was a great activity. The view of the Amsterdam canal was amazing. The boat is very new cozy and clean. The appointment point is very easy to find . we can bring some snacks and drinks to the boat. No any problem was found during the trip. The only comment is the captain should explain more about Amsterdam as we are foreigners but his service is perfect . Everything is good. I recommended this brand.

The guide was extremely pleasant and provided great information. We loved the historic boat and the feeling of being catered to. There was enough space for the eight of us to move around and be comfortable. A cozy, intimate and unique tour on a cold November afternoon.

We had booked the private boat tour as a family (four of us). The tour started right on time. We enjoyed a great tour during which we learned many interesting details about Amsterdam - current and past. The boat was very clean, we were sat very comfortably, in short, everything was perfect. We can recommend it without reservation.

My girlfriend and I had a private boat tour on the boat 'Tzar' with Robertino. I had already been in contact with Robertino and planned my marriage proposal on the boat. My girlfriend was incredibly happy, and the boat was beautiful both inside and out. The atmosphere on the boat was dreamy. Captain Robertino accompanied us on the boat ride and told us a lot about Amsterdam and the surrounding area. We felt very comfortable with him. The marriage proposal at the beautiful Mageren Brug (which lights up beautifully in the evening after sunset) was a success. The view in the evening from the boat was incredibly beautiful, with the bridges lighting up, and the interior of the boat was super cozy. All in all, this boat tour was truly perfect from start to finish! The next day, we were able to visit a houseboat museum for free, which was also very impressive! Thank you for everything! My girlfriend and I had the pleasure of experiencing a private canal tour with Amsterdam Private Boat, and it was simply fantastic! Instead of cramming onto crowded tourist boats, the company offered beautiful, old yet modernized boats for rent. I surprised my girlfriend with an evening boat ride at sunset, and even proposed to her near the seven bridges. Our captain, Nickel, was incredibly accommodating and knowledgeable about the city's history and the canals. I almost felt bad for stealing the spotlight from him! When we're back in Amsterdam, which will naturally happen now after the engagement, we'll definitely book another tour with Nickel to fully enjoy the guided canal experience.

The trip was great! The guys were super friendly and acommodating for me and my two sons who went on the trip! The leisurely trip through the canals was a fantastic way to start the day! Would highly recommend!

I may be a little biased (since I got engaged on this boat tour!!) but this was my favorite experience in Amsterdam. The Boatboys were very knowledgeable about the city and its history and landmarks. The tour was very laid back and conversational, allowing us to ask questions along the way. They suggested great places to eat, drink, and visit during our remaining days (many of which we tried and loved!). The atmosphere was intimate and there was soft music playing, which added to the ambiance of an already perfect sunset boat cruise. 10/10 would recommend!

Our guide was excellent, very funny and knowledgeable, and very kindly dropped us off at our dinner restaurant. The boat is absolutely gorgeous. Book at sunset for a lovely start to an evening.

Taking the tour of the canals of Amsterdam has been on my bucket list. The boat is perfect for a small group and Captain Mark (hope I got the correct name) was very knowledgeable and explained the names of each canal we went through. In addition, he had a good sense of humor! When we mentioned we were hungry he offered to call a restaurant for canal delivery - very nice gesture but we passed - however will take them up on the offer next time. We took the night time cruise to see the lights of the bridges at dusk/night to see the scenery of Amsterdam. It was an incredible experience and did not disappoint. Captain Mark dropped us near our ferry afterward. Extremely accommodating and kind. We said our goodbyes after we took a picture. If someone asked would I do it again.....the answer is easy - Yes and use Captain Carl, aka - BoatBoys. Captain Mark was delightful and we shared our chocolates with him. Thank you for an incredible experience and sharing your beautiful city of Amsterdam with us through the canals.

The boat tour was wonderful! The boat itself is very nice and cosy - suitable for any weather. It was heated, and if it had been sunny, the cover at the rear could have been removed as well. The route we took was perfectly chosen. We were told a lot about the buildings along the route (we booked the German-language tour), and I have to say: I have rarely met such friendly people as the Boatboys. The coffee we had was extremely tasty. A minibar would have been available on board for any needs. The boat rode very smoothly (I went with my mother, who was a bit scared of the boat ride beforehand. But the ride was totally comfortable.). I can wholeheartedly recommend a boat tour with the Boatboys! Thank you for this wonderful memory!

We wanted a more private boat tour rather than one that was packed with people and that is exactly what we got. It was a beautiful, intimate setting on a beautiful boat. Both guides were extremely knowledgeable and we got to talk about what we wanted to talk about and have our questions answered. It was a beautiful evening and Amsterdam must be seen from the water! Would love to go again one day.

Experience was 10/10. Carl was a professional and knowledgeable guide, who even gave us some restaurant and cheese recommendations on request that turned out lovely. It began to hail during our trip which was NO PROBLEM as the boat was able to be completely sealed protecting us from the elements. I would highly recommend to anyone coming to the City for the first or fiftieth time.

This tour was our favorite thing we did while visiting Amsterdam. Our tour guide Carl was funny and informative. We really enjoyed our time with him. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Amsterdam.

Overall experience was a 10/10! Robertino was very helpful with everything and organised extra decoration for a romantic boat cruise. Carl as the host and tour guide was very friendly and delivered a lot of input on Amsterdam itself. Very nice and calm boat cruise, we enjoyed it alot!

Excellent experience. We had to cancel a previous reservation after an injury required us to change our plans. Robertino and the company were very accommodating. We rescheduled for several months later and it went perfectly. Robertino contacted us a day in advance to ensure everything went smoothly and we had all the details for the boat pick up. The experience itself was great. It was relaxing, informative, and fun. We were a group of 5, including 3 young kids who also had a good time and had many questions that were all answered with enthusiasm by our captain. He was engaging while not being overbearing. This was the PERFECT start to our time in Amsterdam! Avoiding the overcrowded tour boats that cruise the canals, Robertino's 'Boatboys' tour was exactly right. Private, affordable, and fun! The boat is beautiful, elegant and comfortable, and our guide, Mark, was informative, funny, and winning! They picked us up at the dock of our hotel which was so convenient, and gave us both an over and under view of the city. HIGHLY recommend this for anyone coming to Amsterdam and confused by all the options. Unless you want a drunk, loud, party experience, opt for class, comfort and fun with The Boat Boys!

We had a marvellous boat-trip and enjoyed that special time which made a lasting imprerssion on us! It was the perfect way to get an idea of the town and its history. Do not miss this experience! After the chaos of busy Amsterdam streets, a calm and relaxing canal ride was the best way to see Amsterdam. Karl was very accommodating and made the trip a peaceful and informative experience. He's a great person who developed rapport with the family quickly. Highly recommended as a way to see Amsterdam without dealing with the crowds.

We had a spectacular boat ride through the canals with Carl! His boat was well kept and it made the trip even more unique and pleasurable. Carl was also very knowledge on the history of Amsterdam and the canals; I can't recall a question that he didn't answer with an excellent amount of detail. We had a wonderful time during a relaxed private boat tour with Robertino. He is extremely welcoming and easy going boat tour guide. The boat Undine was an absolute delight...well maintained and silent (for it's electric motor). The tour was timely, and we were guided by snippets of interesting Canal facts during the tour. Will love to take this tour again during my next trip.

Amsterdam people are amazingly welcoming, as is the captain. What a splendid treat it is to sit back and enjoy the city from the water. The boat is gorgeous and quiet, its electric motor ripples you through the water. The conversation is pitched just right, informative and responsive - the captain leaves quiet spaces for you to just enjoy the ride. We pushed the boat out taking this ride, and we were thrilled we did.

We could not have hoped for a better trip. Nikel was a wonderful guide - warm, interesting, courteous and funny. Would thoroughly recommend.
