It was a very very nice experience that we enjoyed to the max. Our guide was Majo, she was so nice and kind, pretty good presentation and have answers to all of our quastions. Highly recomended.

An excellent hour’s experience! Cheese tasting with Maria. She explained everything about the history of Henri Willig’s cheese farm, the family and importantly the Gouda cheese. Then an informative video and then…wine and cheese! Each sample was explained and savoured 😋 There was loads of cheese! We didn’t need lunch! A really lovely treat- THANK YOU!

Martin was awesome! The cheeses were absolutely worth the stop. Hard to pick a favorite, having many shipped home, but the organic jersey with mustard and the extra old with date balsamic were amazing!

If you like cheese, and an entertaining movie about the history of this great historic company, then this is the place for you! My family had a blast! The cheese was excellent and the dips were amazing! They had wine (specific ones for different cheeses). They also had nonalcoholic options, which was wonderful for our daughter. There were seven people with us for the cheese tasting, which made the atmosphere very light and cozy. Our host was funny, kind, informative and very entertaining. We loved the cheese so much, that we decided to get some. If you do the tasting then you 20% off on the cheese in the store so it’s just an added bonus to doing the tasting. They had a wide variety of cheese in the store and most of them are vegetarian, except one. I definitely recommend coming, as it is a great place to have some cheese!

The experience was amazing, we could taste different kinds of cheese, got to know the history of the Family and how they grow their business. We enjoyed it so much mostly because Quentin was a fab host and made the most of our time!

If you are in Amsterdam, you cannot miss this!! This was a fantasting tasting , definitely the greatest decision. Everyone from the staff was super friendly. We did the tasting with Quentin (sorry if I’m spelling it wrong), he did an amazing job. Super funny and engaging with the entire group. The cheese tasting itself was so good. Suzanne took us through a fun 1 hour cheese and paired beverage (wine/Beer etc.) tasting. Included in the presentation was some history and cheese making insights from the Henry Willis farm. Amazing experience! In addition to the cheeses being delicious, our guide gave us so much good information about the history of the company and how they make all the cheese. Love that I could purchase and ship back to the US for a very reasonable fixed rate fee!

We had such fun with our guide, Schoos (?). He taught us everything about the family cheese business and what makes the different varieties. We enjoyed wine and beer and the company of five fellow travelers. All in all, an informative and enjoyable hour. Of course, we purchased cheeses at a discount afterwards!

Great sit down tasting of cheeses. I don’t know Gouda could be made from a variety of milks! Also tasted some beer made with cheese whey - very tasty. Cute little shop and easy to take cheese back with you in your bag!!
