You would expect to have following activities in our VIP tour at Zaanse Schans. you would have a private dutch cheese factory tour, to understand how to make cheese in the traditional way. You could taste more than 26 different types of cheese here. After that, we will take you to a private wooden shoes factory tour. You would watch a live demonstration of making wooden shoes by a traditional clog maker. After that you would have a private Royal Amsterdam Diamond tour, to know the history of diamond, and enjoy the diamond with 268 cuts. Of course you would have your own free time to get close to the windmills and take photos.
This attraction is the first stop at Zaanse Schans. As described above, you would experience this old cheese farm/factory, to have a private tour of how to make traditional dutch cheese, get to know the history of this cheese farm, and cheese tasting with more than 26 different flavors.

Around noon, you would have a beautiful photo stop at Afsluitdijk, one of the most incrediable dike in the world. At this stop, you expect to know the story of building this great dike, sightseeing North sea and the biggest inner lake 'Ijselmeer' of Holland. 【Note: The monument stop is at the moment under renovation, observation tower is closed. You would have limited landscape. We have chosen an alternative stop, but keep in mind, the landscape is not as beautiful as before】
In the afternoon, you would explore the ‘Little Venice’ of the Netherlands. You will enjoy about 3-4 hours here to explore the sights by yourself and your loved ones. we include 1 hour traditional boat cruise here. But if you want, you could drive boat by yourself, that would have more fun with your family or friends. Self boat ride will have an upgraded price (around 10 euro/person depends on seasons)

I had the most amazing experience during my trip with Reinier. Obviously the views were amazing but i wanted to command Reinier for his exquisite services. From picking you up from the hotels, useful insights, warmth and most importantly he thinks of the little details to make your experience awesome! The day was absolutely perfect despite many days of rain before this! It felt as though we had the whole tour to ourselves, not many people were there when we went so it was fantastic to really feel the different places we went to visit without being pushed or crowed! Eric (Erik) made us laugh so much, and it was just a fantastic trip. Thank you so much! He had so many good things to show and tell us and he is super funny! Would love to go on tour again with him!! The pace was perfect. And every spot we visited there was time to see things. I’m glad it’s on a schedule because I feel like I would be stuck staring at stuff forever if not. Food was great too, his recommendations for places to eat is spot on.
Brilliant day Reinier was excellent, on time to pick me up. Had an awesome time with only 7 of us in the mini van. Length of visit to each place was just right. Loved going in the small boat around the amazing village of Giethooin. Especially as it wasdone before the rain arrived. Giethoorn has always been on my bucket list, and I’m so happy I finally got to check it off! Zaanse Schans was lovely too, and despite the cold, wind, and rain, both villages were beautiful. However, Giethoorn was definitely the highlight for me with its peaceful waterways, charming bridges, and picturesque scenery. Our tour guide, Leidse, did a wonderful job of making the most of the day despite the weather. I thoroughly enjoyed the tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Netherlands!

We recently spent ten days in Amsterdam and wanted to take a day trip to see more of the Netherlands. This small-group tour was perfect for our purposes. It covered three landmark sites and greatly enhanced our appreciation of Dutch history and culture. Our guide, Erik, was a great driver and throughout our tour provided a very informative and entertaining commentary. While in the van, he used a microphone so that everyone could hear him, and that was much appreciated. We had feared that Zaanse schans might be very touristy, but we found it well laid out and quite beautiful. It helped, perhaps, that we visited in late September, so it was not crowded. The presentations on cheese making and clog woodcraft were very well done, and shopping at the affiliated stores was well managed and pleasant. We continued on to Giethoorn, with a stop on the Afsluitdijk, a monumental dike that is surely one of the wonders of modern engineering. Erik took great photos of us with views of the sea and the interior lake on either side. Giethoorn is not included in most day trips out of Amsterdam because it is quite distant, but it is spectacularly scenic and well worth the visit. Our group enjoyed a delicious lunch and then embarked on a small boat tour through the village's canals and into a protected estuary where we saw many swans. We even slipped into a hidden culvert where swans had nested. It turned out that Erik had lived in this village for three years, so he was able to regale us with local lore as he steered the boat. This day trip took a full ten hours. Pickup and dropoff at our hotel were exactly as scheduled. For the price this tour is an incredible bargain. Highly recommended!

This was a great day trip. The windmills are very interesting. Pet the goats, buy the cheese and check out the cafe. Geithoorn was really lovely. We took a boat ride all around and still had plenty of free time to eat and do a little we shopping. Eric was a fantastic driver and guide. He was very knowledgeable and funny. This has been one of my favorite tours so far, not only because of the beauty of the places we visited, but because we had the best tour guide: Reinier. Since the first moment we hopped in in the van, we started laughing. He’s also very knowledgeable and very aware of the needs of his tourists. We visited the village of Zance Schans, where so to demonstrations: how to make cheese and how to make clogs. Interesting, but to be honest a little superficial. But that’s ok. After the village we headed to the amazing dike built to avoid flooding. Since it was raining, we felt overwhelmed by the beauty of the mills on the foggy water and the calm of the gigantic sea. Our last stop was. Giethoorn. I don’t think the photos show how beautiful and serene that place is but the boat ride and the stroll through its little paths were the highlight of our day. I definitely recommend this tour, especially if Rainier is the guide.

We had a great time there. Eric knows the areas very well. He took us to there before it gets crowded. The boat ride in Giethoorn was very pleasant. We were there on Monday and had a great weather, so it was a perfect one day trip.
