What was a group tour ended up being a private tour! Our guide was amazing! Very knowledgeable of Amsterdam. Made a stop at a working windmill and was given private tour with an explanations of the workings by the working Miller! This was not on the iteniery, what a bonus!! The ebikes were easy to manage and traveled at a comfortable pace. Would like to of had more time at Zansee Schan and Vandaam. Only so much hours in the day...

Absolutely loved our experience! Check in was friendly and easy. Our guide, Petra, was wonderful! She made the tour calm and relaxed. Bikes were easy to use. Brought a water bottle and was able to refill it half way through the tour. 100% recommend booking with this group!
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful!!! Amazing place and great tour of what goes on inside these windmills. We viewed the peanut oil windmill and were taught how it actually works. Great time!
We had such a wonderful experience on our e-bike tour through the Dutch countryside with Those Amsterdames! The scenery was absolutely beautiful, and our guide, Tori, made the entire experience even more special. She was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and so easy to talk to. We really enjoyed spending the day with her! The highlight for me was visiting a 500-year-old windmill. Tori knew the operator personally, and thanks to that connection, we were invited onto the property for a special look around. He took the time to show us how the windmill worked and explain its history. It was such a unique and memorable experience that we never would have had on our own! We also loved stopping at the street graffiti museum on our way back, which was such a fun and unexpected addition to the tour. The e-bikes were easy to operate, helmets were optional, and the entire ride was relaxed and enjoyable. It was the perfect way to get outside the city and experience the beautiful Dutch countryside. I can’t recommend this tour enough, and if you have the opportunity to request Tori as your guide, absolutely do it! She was fantastic and made this one of the highlights of our trip to Amsterdam!
So much fun and so much to see! Tori was a great guide, full of information and knowledgeable! A great way to get out of the city and enjoy the countryside.
This was a great way to see the countryside as well as Zaandam and Zaanse Schans. Our guide Corbin was fantastic and would recommend to anyone
Gabe was a really good tour guide. His enthusiasm, depth of knowledge and sense of humor created a perfect combination for a fun day of biking and learning about Amsterdam in general and specifically the windmills. Although it can be a little tricky to bike in and around Amsterdam, Gabe took us on a route that, for the most part, was free from large groups of people and the large number of bikes you see in the city. The countryside was beautiful and we also enjoyed seeing so many different neighborhoods in Amsterdam-Noord. Gabe’s passion for Amsterdam served to truly enhance the experience.
Absolutely brilliant tour. Kendra was fantastic and funny and very knowledgeable. Small group which we loved. The time went by so quickly. The bikes were so much fun to ride. Plenty of time on the tour to do and see everything. Loved this tour. Definitely highly recommend- great way to see this beautiful place.
We did the 5.5-hour tour with Kendra and AmsterDames Tours yesterday, and it was one of the best tours we've done anywhere. Kendra is knowledgeable, hilarious and warm. It's one of the best ways to see the Dutch countryside. Highly recommend!
Amsterdames is an awesome women’s owned bike company that organizes the perfect tours through Amsterdam. I already can’t wait to do it again! Thank you to Rachel our excellent tour guide! Highly recommend!
Great day trip from Amsterdam! Kevin was a great guide, and we'd highly recommend this one to anyone traveling to Amsterdam.
This tour was one of my favourites! It takes toy out to the country side, through some small towns and you get to see the remanning windmills. Our guide, Kevin was fantastic! attentative and kind! I would highly recommend this tour!
Great bike tour and guide was awesome. So glad we did it.
This is a 40km bike ride but the e-bikes made it very easy indeed. Kendra was a great host and guide and made the trip both entertaining and informative. Zaanze Schans itself is a very touristy attraction and, for us, probably our least favourite part (apple bacon pancakes excepted). However, the bike ride through both city and country settings was just delightful and always felt completely safe.
Kendra was a terrific guide and the whole trip was planned beautifully. Well worth the money
This trip absolutely made our Amsterdam experience! Top tier excursion that should not be missed. Kevin was a fantastic guide, he showed us all the parts of Amsterdam you otherwise wouldn’t see. This was one of our favorite excursions of all time!
My wife and I had a fantastic time! The tour was about 5 hours. We saw so many cool things. Went countryside and in the city. Got to see inside of a windmill and Tori was very informative. It seemed just a little hard towards the end when our butts started hurting a bit but I’d say worth it!
FABULOUS! Would book it again should I return. From booking, to check in, through the tour - loved the entire experience. Gabe was our tour guide, and he was great! He shared a lot of fun / interesting historical information throughout the trip, traveled at a good pace, waiting when needed for members of the tour. Remember, this is a 5.5 hour / 26 mile round trip bike ride, through urban and country settings. Although on an E-bike - you still need to be comfortable riding a bike in all conditions.
Had a great ride with Kendra, had the day well sorted out, fun bike tracks, very informative awesome countryside views and just a great day all round!
We very much enjoyed our day with Gabe as our tour guide! Riding bikes was much easier than we thought with his assistance and guidance. We were able to experience the Dutch countryside as well as see the beautiful windmills in Zaanse Schans. It was great to get out of the busy city for the day and take a ride!
Kevin is an amazing guide and very nice guy we had an amazing time.
Such a beautiful tour of Amsterdam's countryside. The e-bikes are easy to use and allow everyone to customize the level of effort they want to put in. Gabe was very knowledgeable and kept us all together and safe.
This tour was fantastic. Gabe was super informative and knew all sorts of history and details about the city, whether it was things on the tour or not. We really enjoyed his information and he was great at keeping the group together on the tour. The bikes were surprisingly easy and even on a pretty warm day we barely broke a sweat. I would say at Zaanse Schans, skip the cheese tasting because they have multiple locations in the city and even the train station that have the same samples without the hoards of people. Instead walk around the windmills and enjoy the scenery.
Our family of four (2 adults, 2 teen daughters) had a wonderful time on this tour! Our guide Gabe was fantastic- he did a great job guiding us through Amsterdam and the countryside on our e-bikes, and gave us information and history about where we were along the way. To say biking in Amsterdam is a little intimidating at first is an understatement but Gabe gave very clear and easy to follow instructions. Getting to see the countryside, windmills and Dutch towns was amazing and doing it on a bike made it really fun. The e-bikes are easy to use and honestly did not even break a sweat. This was our favorite part of time in Amsterdam for sure. Highly recommend!!
Wonderful tour. Our guide Petra was phenomenal.
This is a great way to bike and see windmills and the countryside. It was not strenuous at all. Mostly flat and easy, especially with the ebikes.
Absolutly wonderful trip. It was a small (5 + Kevin) group so it was even better. Getting to climb a windmill blade was so much fun and learned so much! Bikes were perfectly sized and checkin was really easy. TBH, this should be no surprise as the city does run on bikes. I've gone to Zaanse Schans before via train but this is is the real way to visit.
We enjoyed the e-bike tour of Zaanse Schans and Zaandam! Petra was an excellent guide! We had never ridden e-bikes before, and it was so easy and fun.
So worth it! The bikes were fun and easy to ride. Saw so much different stuff. Working windmills, countryside, cool urban areas, and the Windmill park was great as well. I would absolutely recommend this to none looking for a great way to experience something outside of Amsterdam. Corbin was an excellent guide. Can’t say enough good things about this trip. The highlight of my time in Amsterdam.
Had a wonderful experience. The e-bikes were in very good shape and easy to operate. Our guide Kevin was very friendly and knowledgeable about Amsterdam and the areas we rode to or passed by. I would highly recommend this tour.
Our tour guide, Gabriel was a delight. He was very informative, friendly & great with our 13-year old son! Would definitely recommend this trip, it was our favorite activity in Amsterdam!
Michael was a great guide. Very informative along the way. Made the group relaxed and have a great time. The best was when we stopped to look at a windmill and the caretaker was there. Michael asked it’s he could explain the uses and running if the windmill. The caretaker went above and beyond to start and stop the windmill, let us climb up a blade to get some great pictures and us so nice. Thanks Michael.
We’ve been on bike tours all over the world and this might have been the best. Kevin our guide was absolutely amazing. Friendly, knowledgeable helpful when needed. The route was amazing as well as our stop to meet a miller. I would do this again!
gabe was super knowledgeable. This is his passion. Visiting marcells working windmill was fun . Very nice expierence
This was a great experience! We loved being able to explore the country-side and hear the history. Petra was a fantastic guide and allowed the group the opportunity to have a great day. A highlight of the day was meeting Maurice and hearing all about his unique house inside the windmill and how he operates the 500 year-old machine. I highly recommend this tour to everyone! The bikes were in great shape and made for an effortless tour. Thank you so much to all Those Amsterdames!!
Absolutely amazing ride. Great scenery and overall experience. Our tour guide, Febe, was amazing! Totally book this ride.
Great way to see the windmills, cheese and clog makers via paved bike paths. Phoebe was great, very knowledgeable.
We had a fantastic time! Kevin was kind, informative and inclusive of all on our tour. Would highly recommend this experience!
It was an amazing experience...doing this on a bike made all the difference. Corbin was great...very passionate...
Really had a great a day with Petra yesterday. She is a great guide - very knowledgeable and friendly. The bikes are great, easy to use and fun to ride. There were plenty of stops along the way but not too many that I terupte the fun of just riding. Thanks! Was definitely great fun!
A wonderful “chill” ride in the countryside on a e-bike . The stop at a working windmill was a nice surprise
Possibly the best tour we’ve ever been on. Don’t let the miles scare you, it’s flat and the e-bike works great. We road through beautiful countryside and our guide, Gabriel, was wonderful. He was full of information and was great at keeping the group together and safe. Highly recommend!
Great bike tour! We loved riding through the countryside and seeing the small towns that Dutch people live in. I would highly recommend this tour.
Kevin led us on a terrific tour across the countryside. It was filled with great history and scenery. A good time was had by all!
Highlight of our trip to Amsterdam. Our tour guide, Kevin was excellent. He was knowledgeable and made sure everyone was comfortable. The bike tour itself was fantastic. It was a great way to see several sights and the view on the way to each was brilliant. I had never been on an e-bike before and found it very accessible.
Amazing way to explore the countryside and the windmills. Much better than motor vehicle. Corbin was a fantastic guide from a biking and knowledge sharing perspective. The bikes were very well maintained and the trail was safe and easy to navigate
This is a great tour to get out of the city and explore the more traditional areas of dutch culture near Amsterdam. The E-bikes are great quality and easy to ride. Our guide Corbin was knowledgeable and informative. My only complaint is that we had signed up for this tour because it included the windmills of Zaanse Schans and the cute little village of Zaandam. After visiting the windmills though, our guide gave our group the choice of going to Zaandam or take a different route which he recommended that had more to see. We wound up doing the alternative route which mainly included riding through the small cities (with lots of walkers, bikers and cars - not great for people who aren't great riding bikes in traffic situations!) and much more industrial settings instead of the cute little villages. Even when we did ride past interesting sites, we didn't often get to stop and take pictures so it was kind of a let down. The last time we were in Amsterdam we took a bike ride through another company that spent more time in the countryside. It was much prettier scenery, less traffic and opportunities for lots of pictures and historical info which is more my style. If you are looking to just take a really long ride and get to see a few things along the way, this one is a good option. Make sure you are good riding in high traffic situations though - this one was a little out of my comfort zone!
Our guide Corbin was fantastic. The ride was great with lots of local and historical information. This was a great way to spend an extra day, get out of the city!!! Great value
So much fun! Kevin was a superb guide, knowledgeable, funny and kept all safe. Would highly recommend taking this tour!
Kevin was a wonderful tour guide! This bike tour was so much fun! The E-bikes were easy to use and made biking through the countryside for 6 hrs truly enjoyable. The tour was nicely balanced: education, biking, views, breaks. We even met Marcel, a windmiller! I’m so so glad we did this tour. Kevin was kind, knowledgable, and kept our group safe/together. Highly recommend!
