Sabrina met us with enthusiasm and excitement to do our foodie tour. We were briefed on where we would eat and the sightseeing including the canal tour. It was what we wanted! The walking was great and we were able to get lots of local and cultural information in between tasting traditional Dutch foods such as apple pie, bitterbollen, cheeses, meatballs, pea style soup and the legendary poffertjes. A drink was included in most stops and included a taste of Bols!!! Sabrina was a great tour guide. We highly recommend to others … do it!

Itinerary
Start your journey in the Jordaan, a historic district shaped by workers, artists, and migrants. As you wander its canals and lanes, discover how its past forged the vibrant, close-knit neighborhood you see today.
Step aboard a stunning luxury boat for a one-hour private cruise through the canals of Amsterdam, and learn all about its fascinating history! Enjoy a Bitterballen tasting on boar, along with Jenever and a second drink of your choice.
Start the walking tour portion of your tour with Amsterdam's most legendary apple pie at this 400-year-old brown café, with your choice of coffee, cappuccino, or tea. This family recipe has been attracted locals and visitors for generations, including Bill Clinton!
Experience a traditional Dutch fishmonger and sample herring and kibbeling. See the fresh fish expertly prepared in the open kitchen, and enjoy a true taste of local culinary culture.
Savor four organic Goudas in a cozy, historic Café. Enjoy the depth of flavors from young to aged cheeses in a classic brown café beloved by locals for its authentic atmosphere.
Walk along one of Amsterdam's most beautiful canals, admiring the stunning 17th-century architecture while your guide shares stories of the city's Golden Age and its influence on Dutch cuisine.
De Gangen Willemstraat, known as "the hallways" or "the slums," were once home to the city’s poorest residents. Cramped and overcrowded, these narrow alleys behind the houses were plagued by disease and hunger.
The chef serves her homemade Briwat from Moroccan, a flavorful highlight among authentic home-cooked meals from around the world. Discover this unique catering shop where women share their culinary heritage. As an alternative tasting, you could try a Roti Roll with chicken.
Enjoy a classic Dutch delight with freshly made poffertjes. Light, fluffy mini pancakes served warm with butter and powdered sugar offer a sweet and authentic taste of the Netherlands!
View the exterior of this poignant historical site as your guide provides context about Amsterdam during WWII and its impact on the city's culture and cuisine.

The tour allows you to see and taste the area's gems. It takes you to different areas that you will know to return.
We had a very pleasant tour with our wonderful guide/host Sabrina. It´s really a complete different experience to have someone thant can provide you with valuable insights and recommendations. We'd suggest to everyone that books this tour for the morning just to have a light breakfast. If we'd to choose one of our favourite dishes, it would be the meatballs, but everything was fantastic. Also the canal tour at the end was amazing. Thanks Sabrina!
Gerard was exceptional. Great knowledge and sense of humour. Food was authentic and very tasty. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
My husband and I received this tour as a gift for our honeymoon and it was the best gift we got. Stephanie was our amazing tour guide and taught us so much about the city and the local cuisine. Highly recommended this tour specifically because you end it with the most beautiful cruise through the canals. Wear comfortable walking shoes and you’ll be golden.
Alda was wonderful! She was so accommodating and a great guide during my first stay in Amsterdam.

We had a fantastic time on this Amsterdam walking food tour! Our guide, Steve, was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and brought the city’s history, culture, and food scene to life. He made the experience fun and engaging for all four couples in our group, and his enthusiasm was contagious. We enjoyed a great variety of delicious local foods while exploring some of Amsterdam’s charming neighborhoods. Steve shared fascinating stories and insights along the way, making each stop both interesting and memorable.

We enjoyed a wonderful tour with Paul. The food and drinks were delicious and Paul gave us information about the history of the stops along the way, finishing off Matthijas taking us along the waterways! A wonderful way to experience this amazing city!
Sabrina was fun, interesting and appeared to have tied our food to the history of Amsterdam/Dutch culture. The places were ready for us and each tasting was encouraged! Best of the day was fried cod ( trying it later in a restaurant couldn’t come close to what we had) and for my partner the Best was the Dutch Apple Pie). Admission Fee $50. Per person This was a great way to hear about the city and meet some new people who were also wanting a taste of Amsterdam.
Great food tour with Paul would do again.
