This was an incredible tour! We booked via Get Your Guide. The meeting spot was very easy to locate and accessible. When we arrived the people were so friendly and welcoming. They helped us pick the perfect bike for us (height and size). Our guide Emma-Lou was so friendly and knowledgeable, she told us a lot about the history of Amsterdam and a lot of facts. Before the tour, we felt quite nervous riding bikes and navigating Amsterdam. However; after the tour, we rented our own bikes and rode around the streets for a few hours and felt very confident. Highly recommend this tour with this specific company. The price was also very good when compared to other places. Our group was only 8 people (including guide). We also rode at a leisurely pace, I never felt rushed.

Prineye and Red are the best! 1000/10 Everyone loved it
Brilliant trip Thomas and Dan were great
Beautiful ride. The bike paths are very nice. We did one big circle. Nice and flat, even with wind it wasn't hard.
Excellent small group biking experience in the countryside. Cheese farm experience was wonderful and going through many small villages made it so memorable. Daan was an amazing guide!!
Excellent experience, beautiful views and great visit to a cheese factory. Totally recommended!
Daan was our guide that showed us the beautiful Countryside of the Netherlands 🇳🇱….. North Amsterdam is an incredible country side. Excellent bike routes created an enjoyable and rewarding experience. The cheese factory visit was a real topper. The e-bikes were easy and smooth to ride! We would highly recommend this tour!
Wonderful to visite small places and villages, beautiful houses along watercanals, horses runing with the wind, tast homemade cheese from happy cows ! I recommande clearly ❣️
Arrived at TikTuk and was informed that guide was sick. We were offered an opportunity to do a self guided tour. Be careful!!! App is not audible and there were detours!!!! We left at 9:30 and didn't get back until 4. Don't get me wrong, it is a beautiful ride. Just be prepared!!!
This was by far one of our favorite trips in Amsterdam. Absolutely stunning views, quaint towns, birds and animals were visible throughout the trip. Our guide was great, we stopped at several points throughout and he gave us the history relevant to that stop. He easily fielded any questions we had. The working farm was fun- got to pet cows and calves. The cheese was tasty, the cheese making presentation was very short, but there’s not much to making cheese. We did note the cheese here was better than the cheese we tried on a different tour. I had some trepidation prior to the tour as my only bike experiences were easy summer rides in my city, plus I had never ridden an E-bike before. Let me tell you, it was easy, the guide gives a clear tutorial on how to use the bike and all the features, and the pace we took was extremely manageable. The e-bike was a lifesaver with the winds on the trip back, it was wild how easy it was to bike at a comfortable rate through such strong winds. While I probably could have biked faster, I appreciated that the guide kept a steady, manageable rate as his standard. The steady rate ensures you can take in all the scenes around you. It was amazing seeing the countryside from the perspective of a bike, and I enjoyed getting a bike experience in Amsterdam without the stress of managing crowds in the city. Dress for the weather, we lucked out with sun (although it was cold and we still needed layers and gloves). Absolutely recommend.
Booked this trip months in advance for my family (wife and three kids aged 12,7,4). Unfortunately when we showed up they did not have our reservation for a guided tour. The staff at the store were fantastic and pivoted to a self guided tour for us and gave a refund. A little nerve racking to set out alone with three kids but we did and ended up being a highlight of the trip. The whole experience was around 22 miles for what we did based on the self guided tour - our kids had some difficulty at times to keep up (littlest in a bike seat) but they managed great and the ride was beautiful. Awesome end location for cheese, clogs, and beautiful town for a quick lunch.
Great experience. Excellent way to get outside of the city and see the countryside and small villages. Well worth it.
Booked it for a day and they sent an email saying they actually don’t have it on that day. Still have not gotten my money back. Be careful.
I booked this the night before and woke up early to make the reservation, however the guide sent me a message about 1 hour before meeting to say there was no availability and offered to move our reservation to the next day or “refund immediately”. Since we were leaving Amsterdam that day, I requested a refund. She then stopped responding to my messages on Viator and What’s App and did not cancel my booking. I reached out to her again to confirm it was canceled, but she did not respond and still left my reservation booked. I had to contact my credit card to ensure I don’t get charged.
This tour is an easy bike tour on electric bikes into the countryside of the Netherlands. Stops at a historic windmill small Dutch Village and cheese shop are very much worth it. The guide was excellent and very accommodating with our biking experience. Highly recommend this tour.
The tour with Christian was very enjoyable. He gave us lots of cultural and historical information about the Dutch countryside along the way. He even surpassed our expectations, as we were able to take the tour in French.
Loved this, it was an excellent tour. We got to go very far out into some beautiful farmland, through some cute villages. There is minimal in town driving which was good. Driving bikes in Amsterdam in general can be a bit intimidating, but this was great. There were plenty of stops and riding the e-bikes is so fun and easy. Our tour guide Oleg was great!
It was a wonderful safe, fun, educational trip. Ollieg was great tour guide!! He was very kind, patient and conscientious of everyone in our group. He made sure everyone had a good time. Very knowledgeable and extremely informative. The cheese farm was great experience, educational and fun!!!
This tour offers an opportunity to spend a few hours in the beautiful Dutch countryside, see some pretty villages and learn a little about Dutch cheese-making (and get up close with some cows and goats!) . |Our guide, Olag, was super-well organised and friendly and made everyone feel welcome. The e-bikes were high-quality and made the distance and pace seem effortless. I definitely recommend this tour if you want to get out of the city for a while and I'll probably be back for more tours myself!
wonderful bike tour of area just outside Amsterdam! great quality bikes with knowledgeable tour guide
We had a great trip biking through the countryside with our guide Rad. He kept us moving at a brisk pace and the electric bikes allowed us to see a lot of sights unique to the countryside. Rad was very knowledgeable and fun which made the tour even better
Great day out.. enjoyed biking through the fishing villages and stopping at the cheese farm. Chris our guide was excellent...he stopped often to tell us about important points of interest...
Marcelino our guide was great! He was very accommodating and continually asking if anyone in the group needed to stop for a breather. The serene and picturesque countryside views are a perfect contrast to the hustle and bustle of Amsterdam and truly helped give us a well rounded experience of the beauty that encompasses the country. The stops along the way to the beautiful little towns straight out of a Hallmark movie. I enjoyed that you have a few minutes at each stop to explore and never made us feel rushed well, still keeping us on schedule. The visit to the family owned and operated cheese farm was a nice treat after the bike ride. After the introduction to the cheesemaking process, we had the opportunity to taste test 20+ cheeses at the cutest gift shop with plenty of options, you are sure to walk away with something! Definitely a must!
Great to get out of the city and see some of the beautiful country side. Thus was a great tour to do.
Not what I expected. Name of tour is Windmills, Cheese, and Clogs tour. We saw ONE Windmill on side of highway after cycling for 50 minutes. We then headed to Cheese shop which was slammed packed. Got to taste many of their cheeses but it was crowded and many people would jump in front of us to grab some cheese rather than following the flow of people in line. There were no clogs on tour, and when asked about where they were the guide said "oh, we don't do that anymore, I have told the owner to change the website". We biked for 4 hours, the guide was ok, but we really didn't see much, nor was much history or information shared with us. I would not recommend this tour if you typically do bike tours in cities to learn more about them, or to get a lay of the land.
Riding bikes through the countryside of Holland was a perfect day! We had abnormally beautiful warm weather and clear skies to complement it further. Mariano was a fantastic tour guide and really looked out for all of us!
This was by far, the best tour I did in AMS. Loved having the opportunity to bike through the waterlands. Our guide, Rad, was wonderful.
We all loved this bike tour of the countryside! We are a group of four adults and one toddler. Our guide was awesome and the electric bikes were great. We all enjoyed the cheese tasting and bought some for home!
We thoroughly enjoyed this bike trip as a family. The guide took us out of Amsterdam on a ferry. We then embarked on a lovely ride through quaint cobblestone neighborhoods, visited a cheese maker and saw an old out of commission windmill. We passed through beautiful countryside full of free range cows and sheep. It was a great addition to our busy city schedule to see the outskirts. We highly recommend
Getting out into the countryside was lovely, and luckily we had a nice group - but it felt like we were doing a race rather than a tour. We sped past everything, just to spend quite a while hanging at the cheese and clog shop, which wasn't that interesting. There was one guide who raced ahead at the front, and didn't worry about who was where - wouldn't have even known if all members of the group were actually still on their bikes. The bikes were okay and the scenery lovely, but the company could definitely improve the experience for the customer.
Great bike trip and Miriam our guide was very helpful. However take gloves it was freezing! If I could make changes I would add in more rest breaks for refreshments, toilets and hot drinks to warm up, and quite uncomfy seats considering you ride 30k !
My partner and I took the trip Saturday 11th November, our guide was Rad. Rad was lovely explained thigs well and the trip itself was thoroughly enjoyable. We both enjoyed it very much, a nice small group. If in Amsterdam and you want to spend a few hrs out of the City then I can recommend this cycle very highly. A great trip. Peter
We had a wonderful experience on this tour. The cycling was very manageable because of the E bike. We do not cycle much at home and were a little concerned about whether we would be up for this. But we were! Countryside was beautiful and our tour guide was very friendly, helpful and informative. The Gouda cheese tour and tasting was also a highlight along with the small village we stopped in for a break. Would highly recommend this tour.
I have been on many bike tours in different countries but none of them are comparable to this one. Thank you very much for the amazing experience.
Unfortunately, we did not get to go on this tour, but had a horrible experience with the owner. We showed up at 9:00, hoping there may be a no show on the 10:00 tour. I was talking with a nice young man and the owner showed up and asked if he could help. I asked if there was a possibly of getting on the 10:00 countryside tour and he told me very frankly, no and I asked if we could rent a couple of e-bikes and again he said all of his bikes were taken and dismissed us. We couldn’t believe he was so rude. My advice is to deal with a nicer company that appreciates their customers.
Amazinggggggg day with Fausto our bike guide. Best tour. Excellent experience totally recommend. Made our entire trip. Thank you so much Fausto 🙏🙏❤️
Very bad experience and service . The tour was cancelled and they never advised us do we spent 50 euros on a taco to get there and then to be told it’s cancelled . Very disappointed and terrible service
Great way to get out of Amsterdam and see some of the countryside. The e-bikes make the trip easy, and it’s a nicer way to travel than sitting in a coach for hours. Our guide Rad was good company too!
Simply a great experience with expectation exceeded. Rad was our guide and did a fabulous job. Fully recommend Travis and Kim Cadman
Very nice bike tour through the surroundings of Amsterdam. With good e-bikes and a very friendly guide: Daan. With a break in a village with a large church. At the end, we visited the cheese factory Henri Willig. It was fun.
Great visit and discovery of the Amsterdam countryside. The guide is super nice and very accommodating. The visit areas are very nice and the cheese farm offers superb local products, a delight! Be careful however to the non-sportsman, the electric bike is recommended;). A little extra for the availability of a French speaking guide. Thank you again for this great time:).
