Bespoke Amsterdam Private Open Boat Cruise

I booked this for me and my girlfriend to experience a more intimate and romantic cruise through the famous Amsterdam canals. They were very accommodating and even sourced some gluten free beers for me and played a Serbian playlist for my girlfriend. What we saw was amazing but unfortunately maybe 10 minutes into the tour a massive thunderstorm passed over so we spent maybe 20 minutes under a bridge sheltering from the storm. I am not one to leave a bad review over weather that can't be controlled by the provider but I also can't give this a 5 star as we didn't get to see as much as I had hoped. Still a memorable experience and highly recommend. Hopefully you will have better luck than us!

Robertino and Karl gave us a very friendly welcome. The boat is charming and glided silently through the canals with its electric motor, and because the boat is small, it could also sail through the small canals in the old town that are taboo for the big boats. The explanations about Amsterdam and the personal conversations were charming and we felt very comfortable. We can highly recommend the Boat Boys to anyone who wants to take a canal trip in a very personal way.

Amsterdam is best seen by boat and the boat in question is wonderful. Cozy, warm, and with a great captain. We chatted with him while enjoying the city and he was very personable and knowledgable. My wife and I enjoyed it very much and it was our second time with the company!

My wife and I did this cruise to celebrate our one-year wedding anniversary. The cruise was very intimate and relaxing and the perfect way to tour the canals. We loved our captain, he gave us great information about the city and he made our experience the highlight of our trip to Amsterdam.

Fantastic experience with Carl. We bombarded him with questions and he had answers to all of them! We learnt a lot, relaxed even more and saw the best of Amsterdam from the comfort of a classic, super comfy electric boat :-) Highly recommended.

A private cruise on a small but lovely boat, with a skilled captain and lots of good and interesting facts and stories on whatever you want to hear about Amsterdam. Me and my wife had a wonderful time. It was so good I almost regret picking a even longer cruise.

Booking the boat was easy and convenient. The salon boat is very nice and comfortable. Carl was a wonderful captain who made us feel at home and gave us interesting information about Amsterdam. WE really enjoyed our private tour and had a wonderful time.

Very pleased with the tour and tour guide! We just got married and we celebrated with a canal tour! The tour guide was VERY knowledgeable about the city, the ins and outs and tiny funny details about the architecture, living in Amsterdam. The boat was "half open" so we could enjoy all the sights from the open but we could shelter if need be (no need ;)). Drinks were included! We arranged with the tour guide beforehand and he even brought REAL champagne!!! 10 out of 10, would sail again!

Intimate, authentic way of sightseeing. The captain, which is a real local living on a houseboat in the city center, is a fun and knowledgeable guy. Variety of drinks on board, cozy and warm and a magnificent view in the front of the boat (I had the front window fully open). Next time I will try the dinner tour, where you get served from local restaurants. Hope to come back soon again!

As a family of five we took this tour with Carl. It was a wonderful experience, as Carl explained a lot about Amsterdam. You could feel the enthusiasm about his town. Drinks were good, Undine, the salon boat is a Dream. So well renovated that we fell immediately in love with it.

Great concept: you hire the boat for two hours, preselect your two favorite restaurants from the list, and once on board you select your starter and main course, and Carl calls in to each restaurant to order. You pour yourself champagne or wine from the on board fridge and sail by to pick up your orders straight from the restaurants kitchens (the restaurants bring the plates to the boat!), and then you enjoy a great fresh dinner with dishes you chose yourself while you glide over the canals and off the beaten track waterways of Amsterdam.

Perfect boat, small outside but full of space inside, we were with children (ages from 4 till 9) and friend (10 people) and it was comfortable for us. Experienced skipper (it is important for Amsterdam). Recommend!

We enjoyed the private boat tour to the fullest. The service was excellent, the drinks were all included, and the boat is a very comfortable historic saloon boat! A unique way to explore the Amsterdam canals in a private setting. Will book again next time!

Wir haben eine zweistündige Tour mit dem historischen Boot Undine gebucht und wurden mehr als positiv überrascht. Der überaus sympathische * Kapitän* hat wirklich wahnsinnig viele, interessante Informationen zu seiner Heimatstadt Amsterdam erzählt. Die Zeit verging viel zu schnell, auch die Kinder an Bord haben es sehr genossen und es ist absolut zu empfehlen. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall nochmal wieder, du schönes Amsterdam, und Erkunden dich gern auch wieder auf dem Wasser.

Die private Grachtenrundfahrt hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Alles war super: wir wurden pünktlich am Steg abgeholt, hatten eine schöne Zeit und dazu noch super Wetter (am 28.4.). Unser Captain hat all unsere Fragen geduldig auf Deutsch beantwortet. Zum Abschluß haben wir auf Anfrage einen tollen Restaurant Tipp zum Ausklingen des schönen Tages bekommen. Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Boots-Tour durch die Grachten von Amsterdam. Carl hat uns auf Deutsch beste Informationen über die Stadt gegeben. Über Robertino lief die Buchung reibungslos und flexibel. Unsere zwei Kinder hatten sehr viel Spaß - die Tour ist absolut zu empfehlen...

Diese Grachtenfahrt mit dem Boot Undine war wirklich unvergesslich und sehr schön! Ich habe diese Bootstour (2h) ausgewählt um meiner Partnerin ein unvergesslichen Moment zu bieten und Ihr einen Antrag auf dem Boot in den Grachten von Amsterdam zu machen. Vorab bei Buchung habe ich eine wirklich perfekte Beratung bekommen und auf meine Wünsche wurde umfänglich eingegangen. Die Fahrt selber im Sonnenuntergang und später im Dunkeln war echt mega schön und einzigartig. Zum Beginn der Fahrt gab es jeweils ein Stück Kuchen und Wein. Die Fahrt selber war sehr angenehm und dank des Elektromotors war das Boot auch super leise. Unser Kapitän war auch der perfekte Tour-Guide, der uns viele tolle Insider-Infos und Empfehlungen zu Hot-Spots in Amsterdam für unseren Besuch gegeben hat. Auch zum Zeitpunkt des Antrags hatten wir unseren privaten Moment. Danach haben wir gemütlich mit Sekt angestoßen. Es war einfach ein unbeschreibliches Erlebnis und ich kann jedem diese Tour durch die Grachten in Amsterdam empfehlen. Das Boot ist super gemütlich, und bietet auch für ein paar mehr Personen Platz. Diese Tour durch die Grachten mit der Undine würde ich bei meinem nächsten Besuch in Amsterdam jederzeit wieder machen.

Es war meeeega mit Carl auf dem Boot durch die Grachten von Amsterdam zu fahren. Dank dem Elektromotor auf dem Boot hatten unsere beiden kleinen Hunde absolut keine Angst. Super! Abends per Internet gebucht und am nächsten Mittag die Tour gemacht. Super netter Kontakt per Mail sowie auch persönlich. Wir hatten sehr viel Spaß auf der Tour und die vielen Informationen über Amsterdam und dessen Geschichte waren echt klasse. Ich kann es nur weiterempfehlen!

Heerlijk gegeten en rondgevaren in Amsterdam. Doordat het rustig was en vroeg donker leek het dat het verlichte Amsterdam helemaal voor ons alleen was. Kapitein had leuke en interessante feitjes over de grachten, de panden en over Amsterdam zelf. Eten was heerlijk en een hele gave manier om Amsterdam te zien.
