It was really a very emotional experience for me. Dwelling into history while navigating the beautiful landscape of Amsterdam was soo worth it!!
We did this walking tour before to go to the Anne Frank House. So glad we did. It gave us historical context not only about Anne, but also about the daily life during the occupation, and how ordinary Dutch families helped in extraordinary ways. The tour was engaging and helped us to connect with the experience on a more personal level. Worth every minute.
Personal, immersive, and truly meaningful. Part history lesson, part city adventure. We left with a deeper connection to Anne’s story.
We couldn’t find tickets for the Anne Frank Museum, so we bought this experience. It has been a real surprise! Very well done with many details and high quality technology. Highly recommended!
I was guided by an immersive commentary with lots emotional stories regard ing the life of Anne Frank. Suggest for families and for visitors that want to know more about this extraordinary young woman !
What a wonderful idea! It was such a cool experience. It's really nice that you can do it at your own pace and explore the city in the meantime.
The highlight of our trip in Amsterdam. We learned a lot and got to know a lot about Anne Frank and places in Amsterdam we would've never visit otherwise. Recommended!
This was a pretty cool experience, expands on top of what you can get visiting the Anne Frank house and adds a whole next level of immersion. You get to see things that you were only imagining during the house visit. It's also great alternative as getting tickets to the house can be very hard sometimes.
Sure, we read Anne Frank’s diary in school, but nvigating the very streets she knew is a whole different experience. This city tour isn't like any other we've done. It plays out like a pocket time machine—every stop brings you to a different historical event, so we joked that the real question isn’t where you are but *when*. The audio and visuals are top-notch without being cheesy, and the story hits hard in all the right ways. The route is a bit longer than we expected, but we were able to complete it over two different afternoons so there was no rush or overload. Also it's a great way to explore the city! (Station 5 was our favorite and also the stop at teh Names Monument was incredibly powerful.) Thank you for making our time in Amsterdam so meaningful!
We really loved this self-guided walk through Amsterdam. The mix of narration, animations, and real locations made Anne Frank’s story feel so real and personal. It’s easy to follow, beautifully done, and a great option if you can’t get tickets to the Anne Frank House — or even if you can! A meaningful and memorable experience.
I found this immersive experience into Anne Frank’s life much more personal and touching than the museum. It felt like walking through history with a storyteller who truly brings the stories to life, thanks to the AI-driven videos that turn photos into vivid scenes. It was a lovely walk, and I appreciated being able to go at my own pace, pausing whenever I wanted to soak in the city’s atmosphere or explore a spot more closely. As a local, I loved walking around Amsterdam and seeing how the city has transformed over time. This experience beautifully blends history and modernity, making it a meaningful journey through the past and present.
Definitely a wonderfully executed tour that submerges you in Anne Frank's life. Learned a lot about her life, her story is still so urgent and inspirational.
A must-do tour! It was so special to visit Amsterdam with AI reconstructions. We loved how Cityfans blended hidden gems with tourist spots. We could take it at our own pace, and we even stopped for coffee and sweets twice along the canals before finishing it. Each stop revealed stories we didn't find in the Anne Frank museum, and delivered an amazing experience with incredible technology. If you are looking for a history-rich experience that goes beyond the usual, this Cityfans tour is the one.
What a beautiful walking tour. I cried more than I care to admit. There’s something really moving about watching a real video of a story right where the story happened. Highly recommend.
This was such a great way to explore Anne Frank’s story while walking through Amsterdam. Super easy to use, no app to download, just open the link and start. I liked that I could go at my own pace and stop whenever I wanted. Definitely recommend if you're looking for something meaningful and flexible.
Amazing experience! Great to do something different than the usual museum visits. The history is extremely captivating and you feel immersed into the environment.
The tour was amazing! All my expectations were reached and I learned a lot from it. It was flexible and I had the chance to learn more than a museum can give me. I highly recommend it! + the day was beautiful, so I was extra lucky.
The Anne Frank experience is fantastic. We learnt and enjoyed it a lot. It's great to see the city while discovering the story behind Anne Frank and what exactly happened, when, and where. Honestly, we found it even more moving than the museum.
Simple and intuitive and with exciting videos and stories It works very well and guides you through the “footsteps” of Anne Frank’s life. Great for a trip with friends or family (better if with teenage children).
The images really bring the story to life and it is a beautiful walk to do. Along the way we also sat in the sun on a terrace.
