Amsterdam: Sunset Evening Cruise With Local Guide

We booked a sunset cruise with KINboat and had a lovely experience. The boat captain was very friendly and engaging! He shared many interesting facts about Amsterdam throughout the cruise. The boat ride was very enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely evening, managed to search the internet in advance to find out when sunset was to be able to book the right time as the timings when booking does not guarantee being on the boat during sunset. There was about 10 of us on the boat in total, plenty of space between us all. Cruise was a nice length of time and the staff were very knowledgeable and pleasant.

So so….very bland. A lot of room for improvement. Not a remarkable experience 😅 or memorable. The staff was not very attentive, warm or engaged at all.

Marco was a great guide and told us about all buildings, boats, rivers and canals. We loved this cruise and would do it again any time.

It was an amazing experience! I really enjoyed the activity with our guide, Ruben :) He told us many interesting and unique stories about Amsterdam and its buildings. He has a great sense of humor and made the whole experience very enjoyable. I would definitely recommend it! One of the best guided tours I've ever taken

Rubin our skipper for the tour was personable, informative and warm, lots of local history and explanations which made the tour most enjoyable.

We had a boat tour with Meanders and he was such an amazing guide. He didn't only explain us the different things we were seeing but also helped us with great recommendations around the city! 100/10 experience, we HAD to do it twice. When I come back to Amsterdam, for sure I'll do it again

Our tour was has stunning views and our guide, Stephan Slavic, was extremely knowledgeable and amicable. It was a wonderful way to get a feel for Amsterdam’s rich culture and history.

It was a lot of fun. Our guide, Anastassia, was a lot of fun and funny. Had a great time. The group wasn't very big which was nice because it was a more personal experience. And in the nice weather, the fact the boat didn't have a roof was amazing. You could see so much more! Lots of fun!

This trip exceeded our expectations, embarked on the canal near the Anne Frank House, (the guys with the blue tshirts) easy to get tickets at booth opposite Anne Frank House museum entrance , or onboard. Only €20 for an hour cruise. About 14 passengers so a nice intimate group, small open boat so great for taking photos. So many beautiful areas of Amsterdam were explored, Our captain Stephan was very knowledgeable and entertaining - we could have listened to him for hours ! He was very happy to answer questions, too. Obviously very passionate about the city he calls home. Do not hesitate to take this tour, it was fabulous.

6 of us were lucky enough to do the tour in the sunshine 12.5.23. We were able to purchase a drink, open boat so great views. Len was our tour guide, lots of information and facts were shared which gave a better understanding of the city. I would definately recommend and thanks Len for all the fabulous information.

We had Antassia as our Captain. She was awesome! She did a great job explaining things we were looking at.

Martin was excellent. Extremely knowledgeable and had a great attitude. Knew so much about the city and its history, I could have listened to him talk for far more than the hour ride.

Loved this cruise through the canals of Amsterdam illustrated with wonderful humour by our skipper Diederick who made me laugh out loud more than once. He also explained several customs and quirks along the way, giving us a better understanding of what we were seeing. A great way to spend an hour in the heart of this lovely city. Just got back from a fantastic time in Amsterdam, took the 1 hour cruise on our last evening, and have to say, it was a fantastic experience, diederick was very welcoming,and informative, we felt very relaxed and had quite a laugh. Our host Diederick was amazing and it was such a beautiful atmosphere. You can have a couple of drinks on the boat and get a lot of Inside-informations about the history, achitecture and the city it self by the host

Harmen was a 1A captain who let us feel all comfy and entertained on the boat - the stories were very interesting and the tour showed us very beautiful places. The seats are comfortable, the drinks are affordable and the driving was safe at any time. We, five people, had a very pleasant trip and would even repeat. Bedankt!

After lots of walking and a nice lunch just down the road, this was a nice way to continue exploring and take the weight off your feet. The only thing that would make this better would be an even smaller boat with forward facing seats so you could see both sides of the canal without feeling like you were missing out something. We had 2 young kids 5 and 3 and the youngest used the chance to sleep. Definitely better than a bigger boat.

Easy on and off. Would have rather done the longer cruise with drinks included. Friendly staff, but young and took awhile to get around the boat for drinks.

Diederick was the perfect host. Friendly and knowledgeable with chilled wine. A fab way to see the sights and a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Thank you.
