Our tour will start in front of the Anne Frank House on the Prinsengracht 263 Amsterdam. After the 1-hour luxurious cruise, you will stop at the same location.
The most common theory on the origin of the name is as a derivation of the French word Jardin, meaning garden: most streets and canals in the Jordaan are named after trees and flowers. Another theory is that the Prinsengracht canal was once nicknamed Jordaan (the Dutch name for the river Jordan) and that the neighborhood beyond the canal came to be called this as well. Our Flagship canal tour will start and end here in the Jordaan.
Our boats will cruise the Prinsengracht.
Our boats will cruise along with the houseboat museum at the Prinsengracht.
Our boats will cruise along the negen straatjes

Easy to book. Easy to find. Delightful unexpected stopover in Amsterdam due to a canceled flight. It was well-worth the money.
This tour was nothing short of amazing! The team was super attentive with us and a special thanks to Michael who brought the experience to life, with humour and really interesting things about amsterdam that broadened our perspective of the city for the rest of our stay. Cannot recommend it enough to anyone who is going, it’s a fantastic way to see parts of the city that you wouldn’t otherwise.
Great Guides, lots of funny stories. Made our day!
Mihai and Bas did a great job!!
Mihai and Bobby are so nice and friendly. We had a really great time today. 👍🏻👍🏻It's enjoyable. Highly recommend it.
One of my favorite activities in Amsterdam! We have been on a boat cruise in Paris and were very unimpressed, so we almost didn't book this. It was great and now wish we would have booked the 2 hour instead of the one hour cruise! There were only 8 of us on the boat and our tour guide was awesome (wish I could recall her name - moved to Amsterdam from the US)! We learned a lot about what we were seeing and she was very open to questions. Seeing Amsterdam at sunset was breathtaking. We had arrived early so we were able to witness Dara (one of the Flagship employees) in action - she solved several different issues with tourists (like a lady who insisted she was supposed to be picked up at her hotel). She was calm and friendly - even when they were upset. She really impressed us! It was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend this boat and company!
Very average and to be honest, a disappointing tour, considering how high the ratings and reviews are on Tripadvisor. The tour started late, is very short, could not see anything of Amsterdam clearly, most of the time went in settling down, if you want unlimited drinks for your ticket and can chug down a bottle in an hour, it’s great. Only advantage is the price is kinda low. So you get what you pay for. Information is subpar, could not follow very well the accent of the Peruvian lady and most of the information was very average, the cheese was meh. Not an exciting tour at all. You could almost feel all the passengers on the tour get a sinking feeling at the end, you could hear them think - “what? that’s it?” Before we saw anything but a few slanted buildings and some information about the number of bikes at the bottom of the canals, we were back. Save your time, and try something else.
Mihai was great as a tour guide! Fun, informative, & incredibly engaging. Ichael was a great skipper with a smooth ride. Highly recommend to get to know Amsterdam’s history!
Loved the unlimited bubbles, would have loved more info on the city though. Otherwise, I would book again.
We paid extra for bubbles and bites there was no prosecco they forgot to put it on the boat and the nibbles were a tiny pack of crackers. Those who had paid less had cheese and the exact same Fri is we received. The hosts were excellent however knowledgeable and engaging I would have been happier paying less for just the hour and knowledge.
It was a small boat but the Captain was friendly and very capable. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and served us wine & cheese and told us a lot about Amsterdam’s history.
Andrew made the experience 10/10.
Amazing canal cruise pretty views and Nice stories about the city. The bites Where super good ans we had unlimited bubbles
Noa, Sam, and Omri were fantastic guides for the light festival tour. I highly recommend a tour with them.
We really enjoyed our cruise. The service was excellent, and the guide was really fun and knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the city, whilst enojying some snacks and drinks.
Stef and crew were great. This was a fun and informative cruise and our glasses were never empty. Would definitely go again!
We felt the "bubbles and bites" cruise was sadly not worth the money! We were on a cruise along with other "advertised" trips, so not everyone was on the same tour (paid the same price). We felt as if we were an add-on's to be honest, the bubbles were not flowing. We went at night, and felt as if we didn't see as much of Amsterdam as we would have liked to, I wonder if it would have been better to go during daylight hours. The girls and guides were AMAZING, however they were just too busy! There were too many people on the boat to serve, and when the girls tried to speak and guide us through certain area's, it was hard to hear because of the noisy guests (although I don't mind people enjoying themselves, that's what Amsterdam is about). Maybe a mic would have assisted. The main thing was that the hospitality was poor and I noticed it was not just us who had to ask for a top-up's. Maybe we were just unlucky. Would I recommend - NO, not for our experience and the price charges.
The tour definitely wasn’t as advertised but was fun nonetheless. It was rainy and the boat was fully covered other than some foggy windows, so not many sights could be seen and it wasn’t much of a tour. There was definitely unlimited bubbles, and drinks of other kinds! The bites were good as well. The tour guide and boat driver were great sports, especially considering the bad weather. If you’re expecting a “romantic boat cruise”, this definitely isn’t it but it can be fun if you’re willing to get cozy with other people and drink lots.
I’m not sure if we got put on the wrong boat, but we did not have bubbles and bites. We had wine and cheese and it was not romantic at all. We were on a boat with a bunch of college students who were celebrating a birthday and wanting to drink, could not see any sites because the boat was overcrowded and the girls running the boat in the bar just made a comment that they don’t sell the tickets so they can’t help the overcrowding. The boat looks nothing like the boat in the picture we drink out of plastic cups, not champagne glasses! They had a lot of people to have to refill cups for so it wasn’t really all you can drink. I have asked for a refund from Viator!
The time was okay. They said romantic bubbly well it was not just couples but kids as well and only six of the 25 on the ship had the bubbly. It just wasn't as published
What an incredible time we had the team was knowledgeable, charismatic, personable, outstanding across-the-board would happily do this again and many more times.
We had a good time on board. The boat was lovely and the host guides were fantastic. It’s very worth doing! Our only disappointment was that we paid for the ‘luxury cruise with bubbles & bites’ for two of us (for a special birthday) and checked with numerous staff before getting on the boat but there was no Prosecco at all and the bites were just two types of cheese. We paid for a luxury cruise but seemed to be grouped together (not so romantically) with a huge group including families with toddlers. There was no room to move and we were squashed in with no tables. It was nothing like the pictures that were advertised. Had I known, I would have booked the cheaper cruise and saved some money.
The tour was incredible, the experience, cheese and appetizers, prosecco, everything perfect, in addition to the amazing view from the canals, the tourist guide Lavinia made the difference with her entusiasmn, jokes and knowledge about the city! We truly recommend!
We booked this trip to celebrate my husband's birthday. There are so many canal tours the idea of "a romantic canal cruise through Amsterdam's charming waterways while enjoying endless glasses of bubbly with delicious bites' seemed perfect. Along with the website photos and description of a luxury saloon boat with individual tables for couples to share their bubbles and bites, I readily booked our trip online. The trip we received did not match the glossy photos you see online (there was no luxury boat with individual circular tables and no endless glasses of bubbly). In fact due to the different colour wristbands on board and the much bigger group on board I think 2 tours were merged. The young guide was humorous and informative but I do feel somewhat disappointed as we did not get what we had paid for, it certianly wasn't the birthday celebration I expected for my husband.
Brilliant cruise with plenty of Prosecco and cheese included. Excellent crew - highly recommended a great trip.
Promised a boat with max 30 people, bites and bubbles. Was a huge boat of +/-75, understaffed, no bubbles, bites were disappointing. One star extra for superfriendly staff that felt guilty for the lousy treatment and false promises
Very nice boat. Really good information from the guide during the tour. We loved the wine and cheese!
The cruise itself was okay. The staff were nice and friendly . We booked the unlimited bites and bubbles, the bubbles was unlimited but the bites wasn’t. The cruise departed late however we still got the full hour. The boat was very busy and packed everyone was sat extremely close. The only down side was that the bites wasn’t unlimited which we paid for and there was nobody assisting people getting onto the boat a lady fell down the stairs. Overall I’d rate this a 7/10.
Best way to get to know the city in complete relaxation while enjoying the view of the buildings and monuments. Beautiful in the sunset light
Very average service. Few interesting details. The guide was speaking at the front of the boat and we only heard when she turned her head... very "Heineken" oriented. Disappointing, really!
It is not worth it. You go through the canal, but they do not share anything interesting. Many passengers take advantage of the open bar. Not pleasant.
