Amsterdam: Red Light District Bar Crawl

This is not what we thought it was going to be. We are from the USA and thought it was going to be a pun crawl like we were expecting. If you are into stopping at bars and staying for an hour or more and playing drinking games then this is for you. Not our thing

I always do a bar crawl when I travel. It's a great way to meet new people and work on those social skills. This RLD was such a good time. It started off small and we were worried it wasnt going to be lively but our fantastic guide Soraya had games, energy and vibes. It attracted people to us and we had a hoot! She made our night over to remember and we definitely made a friend. To be able to be out with the insight of a local who was excited and energized to have us there brought it all together. 10/10 I recommend!

Soraya was a fantastic host, shepherding some 20 drunk people across some five bars with an astonishing poise. One of the best pub crawls I've been part of and Soraya was a major part of that (especially not getting lost). 10/10 highly recommended :)

Very mediocre tour, the group was too big, the pubs too small, the shots were bad and we had no activities with the group to have bonding. Is not worth it the price.

Back from Amsterdam and what a fantastic city! Caya and Soraya were friendly and fun hosts for the 'Red Light District Pub Crawl'. I met lots of other interesting travellers from around the globe who made my night even more memorable. Proost! 🍻🪩🕺💃🏽

Pub crawl was great fun, went to decent amount of bars and getting to explore the red light district with a group was great. Matilda our host was on it, getting us all socialising keeping the vibes lit while also being able to keep track so we got to go to all the pubs and club.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had an amazing time on the Red Light Pub Crawl! The whole night was such a fun experience, and Soraya was an awesome host. She brought great energy, kept everyone together, and made it really easy for the group to meet each other and have a good time. Soraya was awesome! She knew just how to let us have fun and still keep us going! She created a great atmosphere for everyone to get to know each other and have a great time!

There were too many bars; in my opinion, three would have been enough. The disco at the end should also be reconsidered, as it was empty and did not have a good party atmosphere. However, the tour guides were super open and friendly.

Good pub crawl which I would recommend it if it's your first time in Amsterdam central or in a group as you get to see everything in the area between each pub. The hosts were nice and friendly and the atmosphere was good too. The club was good too and you get to see another part of the city with plenty of other pubs and clubs around it. The only downside, the welcome shots were good to begin with but after pub 3 we'd had enough. Having other shots available would have been nice.

Was not an inclusive experience. The guides were great but the group size was too large and we pretty much had to go from bar to bar on our own according to their list. There was no interaction at all.

Absolutely amazing pub crawl. Great way to meet & engage with people especially if you're going solo like i did. Matilda, Sam & Benno were great hosts and made sure everyone was involved.

Went Amsterdam as part of a long trip across Europe and I’ve been on many drink tours but this was by far the best. Soraya was an amazing host playing games talking about the town and overall to bring a fun vibe to the night. Would 100% go again.

The Host Soraya was great, everything went smoothly and it felt safe and everyone had a great time!!

This was the worst bar crawl I’ve ever been on. The guide was not engaging at all, and even walked away and left us at one of the locations. We stayed entirely too long at each location. We were at the first location maybe up to an hour and a half after the start time - they really put the crawl in bar crawl. Though it’s marketed as a red light District bar crawl, you learn nothing about the red light District and actually walk through it at Jet speed. We ended up leaving after the second location, and we saw others leaving as well. It was not worth it. The only good thing is the tour guide set up a WhatsApp group chat informing you where the next location was and how long you would be there. There were also quite a few people attending the crawl, though, as I previously stated, a few left before it ended.

Disappointed. Drinks were very watered down, the first 30 minutes of drinks had no alcohol in it. It was just pure sugar. There was no vibe and the bar seemed to be a little lackluster. There was barely any interaction with the group was expecting a better night.

The shots that were promised were gross-sorry! The places we went were cool and the guide and the other guests were awesome we all had a very good time together, and adding the icebreaker games really helped!

I went solo for my 21st birthday. My host Soraya was so fun and brought us games to play and through those I got to know the best women and had soo much fun talking to people from all over the world and making new friendships even just for the night! 10/10 would definitely recommend to anyone going solo or with someone as a way to meet people!

They were friendly, energetic, attentive, and genuinely committed to making sure everyone had a great experience throughout the night. From the very beginning, they created a warm and welcoming atmosphere that made it easy for everyone to mingle, have fun, and feel included. What impressed me most was how they took the time to engage with everyone in the group, always checking in, keeping the energy high, and making sure nobody felt left out. I thoroughly enjoyed chatting with both Nefeli and Ioanna, as well as meeting the other people on the crawl. Their enthusiasm, positivity, and professionalism turned what would have been a great night into a truly memorable one. Thank you both for your effort, company, and for creating such a fun and enjoyable experience. I would highly recommend this pub crawl to anyone looking to meet new people, explore the city's nightlife, and have an unforgettable evening.

Not worth it at all. We expected to experience Amsterdam’s nightlife, but instead we were taken to a series of very similar pubs. We never even made it to the club that was supposedly part of the tour and eventually decided to leave and explore the city on our own. Instead of the advertised shots, we were given some kind of sweet drink or cider in small measuring cups. In the first pub they kept refilling the same drink for about 30 minutes, and in the following pubs it was exactly the same drink served in the same cups. There was hardly any beer selection either — basically just standard Heineken or Amstel. At some point it felt like all the pubs belonged to the same chain because everything was identical: the drinks, the atmosphere, and the overall experience, only the location changed. Overall, the tour did not meet our expectations at all. If you want to experience the real nightlife of Amsterdam, you’re probably better off exploring the city and choosing venues on your own.

The night was a fun night out, great range people and ages. We had a great night out and got to explore the few different places.

I had a lovely time during the pub crawl! Our host Soraya ensured everyone was engaging and comfortable! We had a fun game planned for each pub ultimately ending at the night at a club. I loved the whole experience and ended up having new friends from around the world!

- PUBS not bars - The free shots are sours/schapps until the “club” which gave jager - Club = DEAD even though it was 1am. Our pub crawl was literally the entire population there. Bathrooms at the club were 50¢. And the “club” felt like a hotel conference room. - Fun games at 2nd bar, too much time at first. - Mixed age group - Bars/club listed are not the ones we went to - Not super organized; but there was a WhatsApp group which was helpful - guides were not very helpful and the most helpful/knowledgeable person there was a guide who was not working but joined the crawl for fun. He was the only one who knew where we were going and interacted with the participants.

Matilda and Tina were such amazing hosts 11/10 we had the best night ever!!!

Solo trips can be complicated. So group activities are always a bonus and this bar crawl was phenomenal. Soraya exudes amazing customer service and ensure everyone has a great night. It almost felt like a one on one tour but it definitely was a group tour. You don’t need to drink before getting there because the drinks keep flowing like oxygen. Overall a 10/10 experience. I’m a tour guide myself and I know for a tour to be great; it’s 90% the guide and if you want a great experience; definitely request Soraya
