We had a lovely time with Craig. He was very knowledgeable and informed about everything in Amsterdam!

It was a very good tour. Elvina was very knowledgeable and kept it interesting. She kept checking with us to ask if she was moving too fast. We would recommend this tour to anyone.
We had a great time on the tour. Our guide Elvina was very knowledgeable and gave just the right amount of background that we needed. We recommend this tour.
It was downpouring the day of our tour. We half expected it to get cancelled... but Lawrence showed up ready to conquer the day! We ran from covered awning to covered awning while he packed in as much information about our surroundings as possible. Our tour was a great mix of popular sights and local hidden gems. Lawrence's passion for history was infectious, he explained even tiny details in a way that captivated our attention despite the weather! We walked A LOT but Lawrence did check in with us often about how we were doing so the pace could've definitely been adjusted if we weren't keeping up! I wish we had Lawrence to guide us through every city we travelled to!
We really walk and enjoy every spots, he took many photos, I suggested him wich place I would like to visit, and he was very profesional, also he took extra minutes for show me one more place, we taste cheese was delicious, also we were at coffe terrace and the view amazing.
Craig - was our guy, and he was exceptional. He was knowledgeable. He was funny. He was inquisitive. He tailored the tour to exactly what we had asked for. Without question, I would highly recommend him!
Craig was fun to be with; great sense of humor and deep and extensive knowledge of Amsterdam-its history, environment, and culture. He came to our hotel and was early. We were a little late but we still received a full two hour tour. He took our age under consideration and gave us plenty of time to rest and set a pace we could easily keep up with. The weather was great and the time passed quickly. I would ask for Craig again if given the opportunity.
Fantastic experience with host Alan . Amsterdam is a beautiful city and having a great guide was amazing . Highly recommend this experience in one of the best cities
We had a wonderful time seeing the city of Amsterdam. Our guide, Greg, was fun and knew the city very well. Definitely a good tour!
Craig provided an amazing tour of the city and its history! He has a real wealth of information and tailored our 3-hour tour based on our specific interests. He also shared what life is like for the city's residents, pointing out local restaurants and other hotspots along the way. Highly recommend if you want an authentic, insider's perspective on the city!
We had one day in Amsterdam. With only one day to make pedestrian footprint we did not want to walk around aimlessly lost. This is where our guide Alan came in. Alan became part of our unforgettable Amsterdam experience. Our footprint requested of some thrift stores, cheese store and as many miles as possible. Alan started taking us by train to the markets walking our way back to our starting point by weaving in and out of all the side streets , the pretty streets, the roads less traveled, all while site seeing spontaneously. For example at the thrift store a high pair of shoes were selling for 15 Euros. On our journey back we stopped at the brand-name shoe store and found the vary same pair of shoes priced at $250. Alan showed us the square memorials plaques in front homes where Jews had one lived before they were killed in World War ll. I was later able to share this fact at the Anne Frank Museum. When we needed to use the toilet , Alan found the cleanest and fanciest places. He new when to hurry us along and when we wanted to hang a bit longer. We moved around, did and learned a lot. Alan pointed out other places to visit with directions. Genuinely, we had a better time in Amsterdam with Alan as our guide!
Craig was an amazing guide. He has a great sense of humor and in a short amount of time we learned so much about Amsterdam and the Netherlands . Highly recommend !
Love that the tour started from my hotel. Anna was an outstanding guide. She asked questions to determine what my interests were and to identify any landmarks that I had already visited. The tour felt very personalized and catered to my interests. She answered questions about culture and quality of life in Amsterdam. She took me to see places that locals visit and appreciate. She filled two hours visiting interesting landmarks not even mentioned during my other tours of the city. Impressed by the interesting anecdotes and extensive knowledge of the city.
Elle was an amazing tour guide! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and made the tour both fun and informative. Her enthusiasm for Amsterdam really showed, and she shared interesting facts and local insights that made the experience even more memorable. I highly recommend touring with her!
Craig is an amazing guide! Very knowledgeable, funny, safety first amidst all the bicyclists of Amsterdam. We enjoyed the tour from start to finish and learned a ton about this fascinating city! Wonderful experience, highly recommend!!!
Anna is a great guild. She gave a nice overview of Amsterdam with a lot of special hidden spot and details. A nice balance of history and culture. She also has a lot of recommendations. This was great since it is our first visit to Amsterdam
Great tour with fabulous English speaking guide. He got our sense of humour etc very quickly which is awesome.
The walking tour was a perfect way to learn about Amsterdam & some of its history & culture. The pace was relaxed and flexible to meet our wishes.
Paul gave my wife and I a fascinating and fun walking tour of Amsterdam. We learned not only about history, but also about Dutch culture, lifestyle and people. Paul brought the beautiful city to life by showing us hidden gems and sprinkling the tour with entertaining stories. Many thanks!
My tour guide Anna was super flexible and crafted the tour based on my interests, building on what I’d already done while in Amsterdam. She was extremely knowledgeable and great to talk to. The three hours flew by. Thank you!
Anna was fabulous & catered our walk to the things we like. Seeing the city through the eyes of a local, walking the not so populated streets, seeing the amazing architecture, fantastic restaurants & cafes to visit and the beautiful Vondel park. It was an extremely pleasant 3 hour walk around Amsterdam & we would highly recommend Anna.
Really enjoyed the tour. Elle gave us a lot of useful information about places to eat, background history of areas of Amsterdam etc. ideal for first time visitors
Elle was an excellent guide!!! She designed our tour to fit our needs. We could not have ask for a better guide.
Maria was a great guide. Taylor made the excursion to our needs. Saw many of the city’s highlights and hidden gems. Maria also sent us an email following our excursion with restaurant suggestions and out of the city trips including bus schedules. Definitely would recommend
Lawrence was amazing! We did a 3 hour walking tour. He tailored/catered the tour per our preference. He was flexible. His professional and pleasant demeanor made it a great experience. He was very knowledgeable but was not overwhelming us with too much information and provided the right balance of I information and exploration so that we had a good experience overall. Thank you!
We had a really fun time taking this walking tour with Lawrence. He is very knowledgeable, very engaging and he fit right in with our group of four. We went through a lot of different areas of Amsterdam and came away with a good feel for the city.
Our tour guide, Leese, was excellent. She contacted us ahead of time asking what our interests are and what we wanted to do. This was a private tour. She was friendly, knowledgeable and fun to be with.
Annet is my tour guide, she is very nice and funny, also knowledgeable to the history of Amsterdam, and a great photographer. This is my first visit of Amsterdam and I have a wonderful Sunday with her, giving all sort of funny facts and history about Netherlands and Amsterdam. Highly recommended.
Our guide Jan was very good. We were impressed that once booked he contacted us to discuss what we were interested in so that he could customize our tour. The tour was fun and informative and a great way to start our time in Amsterdam.
Anna was a wonderful guide! She took us to places that we never would have found on our own and was very good at explaining the history of different parts of Amsterdam!
This was a four hour tour. We had a great experience with our tour guide Alan. His great personality, sense of humor and knowledge of the city made for a very enjoyable day. Would highly recommend Alan and this tour. We got to see so much of the city.
Very tailored experience!!! My family and I enjoyed the personal tour!!! Alan also showed us some of his favorite places to eat or to go to.
Craig was a wonderful tour guide. Very friendly and informative. His knowledge of Amsterdam was very good. I would highly recommend him.
It was our first time in Amsterdam, and this tour was the perfect introduction to the city. Having someone guide us through the highlights and help us navigate made everything so easy and enjoyable. Craig was absolutely amazing. His knowledge of the city’s architecture is impressive, and the fascinating anecdotes he shared truly brought Amsterdam to life. His passion for the city is contagious! I can’t recommend this tour highly enough and would encourage anyone visiting Amsterdam to book it.
We had such a great day in Amsterdam on our walking tour with Craig. He was very knowledgeable and personable and helped us familiarize ourselves with the area. Travelling with our two teen boys, he kept the day interesting and fun for all of us. He was great with communicating before to find out our likes/dislikes and was flexible with our meeting and drop-off locations to help maximize our time together. Highly recommend!
This is the ultimate way to view Amsterdam - with a local! Alan was very knowledgeable and tailored the tour to our tastes. We were taken to lots of hidden gems that you won’t find on your own and given numerous insights along the way. The walking pace was very manageable also. Our time in Amsterdam was limited and Alan created an awesome experience for us! I loved all of it!
Alan was a terrific Tour Guide! He took us to Markets, historical sites off the beaten path and away from the crowds. We went by Anne Frank house, Rembrandt house, red light district and walked around the canals, bought Dansk souveniers and found local art in the Market. Saw beautiful flowers and plantings along the canals. We stopped for coffee but still managed to see many of our requested interest points. We would definitely request Alan to guide us should we ever be fortunate to spend more time in Amsterdam Netherlands!
Wendy was nothing short but fantastic ... She first asked what we would like to see and our interests. Then on that advice she gave us a tour (she was very switched on with history of the town) absolute pleasure to talk too. Being in Amsterdam she is always weary of the cyclists and made sure that we weren't accidently run over , always thinking of our safety. Made us very comfortable walking around the town .. Well done Wendy , Peter and Karen down under Australia.
We had a great morning walking the city - seeing canals and secret gardens - learning about the city and its charms - our guide was so patient with US being an HOUR late because of traffic and things outside our control - she rolled with it all and we couldn’t be more thankful - highly recommend!
Having a private tour is the best way to get around and see Amsterdam. Our tour guide took us to the places we wanted to see, and moved at our pace since I am a very slow walker.
Alan was an absolute gem! He navigated us through the city with ease. Alan’s walking tour was totally immersive and very authentic.
Our guide was punctual besides the rain. As we were a small group of three, we easily walk through the city. We passed by the old part of the city, around the multiple canals and we took amazing pictures. The tour was private, and we were contacted by email, to find out what were our main focus. Decided that we wanted to explore the city, cafes, but our focus was not the Red Light district visit( although we pass through), or visiting the Anne Frank Museum . We visited the Van Stapale cookie shop, when was heavily raining, and it was an excellent decision from our guide. We didn’t have a lot of time in Amsterdam, but went to the flower market, pass by Our lord in the attic house/museum, visited the train station enormous bikes parking lot. One of the things we appreciated visiting was the Tutchinsky theater a jewel to see in Amsterdam, specially in a rainy day at the end of your walking.
Rainy cold day in Amsterdam but our tour with Elle was wonderful. Amsterdam when cloudy and rainy is still beautiful and gives the city a different look and vibe. Our tour guide was wonderful and showed us the city from a local perspective which is so wonderful. Not a large group mega tour but a personal experience. Ask for Elle who was the best tour guide!!!!
Anna was a wonderful guide. Very thorough with explanations and answering all of our questions. She took us to some of the older parts of Amsterdam and it was a lovely tour. She met all our expectations for this tour.
We booked a private tour with Wendy. She was easy to communicate with before the tour. She showed us all kinds of hidden areas in the city of Amsterdam. We really enjoyed her commentary and recommendations for other things to do. I highly recommend a private tour in Amsterdam to avoid the crowds and to have a more personal experience. We are very glad we took this tour.
Jan was an amazing local guide who showed me and my friend around Amsterdam. He knew the city inside out! He took us to places like Oude Kerk, Damrak Square, and the Bloemenmarkt, where we saw the famous floating flower market. He was full of interesting facts and stories about Dutch history and culture. It was a great walking tour!
Great walking tour with Elle. Walked to most of the central city areas. Good overview. You can customize to let them know what you would like to see.
Exellent experience Ana was attentive, well educated in subject Loved our trip to Amsterdam. Tempted to come live here
Paul is a wonderful guide. Our sister fell and twisted her ankle and he was able to help us get a rickshaw bicycle that followed us around to enable her to continue on the tour. We asked for specific places to go to including the the Spinoza statue and he was able to accommodate us And tell us all about the sites we had wanted to see. He was very engaging and professional. we loved the tour!
Leese was very communicative in advance to make sure she had an itinerary we would enjoy, and she really nailed it. We wanted to avoid the typical touristy stops and get a good sense of Material itself. She did a wonderful job of that. We booked 3 hours in the morning, and it set us up for a great lunch in a locals hotspot. This was a great choice, and we felt we really got our money's worth. It was most memorable for what it wasn't; we are always afraid that the guide is just going to walk us around to vendors with whom she has deals. This was definitely not that.
