Great walking tour with Jacob- lots of information and history about Amsterdam! And Pancake breakfast was delicious.
I’ve been on a lot of walking tours in many cities around the globe. Most include a lot of history and details on what we’re seeing. We walked by a lot of things without explanation. This tour could have been so much better if the guide had done that vs talking about the cost of rent, his house buying experience, etc. I like to learn a lot on tours like this and I think a self guided tour I download would have been better.
Jacob was a knowledgeable and engaging tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It gave us a great overview of the city
The tour guide was pretty informative and funny. Entertaining and worth the money. We have heard some nice and interesting stories about the place and different spots we visited throughout the tour.
The guide, Anthony, was great and gave us many interesting facts and showed us several interesting places. Dutch Pancake Masters was excellent. My only negative comment is that we were there on a very crowded Saturday (the day before Easter Sunday), and it was challenging to keep up with Anthony because of the crowds (and I’m a good walker). He did not check to make sure everyone was keeping up.
We learned so much and our tour guide Karl was amazing!! We saw all the important highlights and learned a lot about the history of Amsterdam!
Did not receive items as promised on ticket. Waiter was less than friendly when I presented my ticket. He made uncomfortable. Would not go back to that establishment
Rob was an amazing guide with his depth of knowledge and his cadence integrating all of the information into a wonderful experience. It was a true introduction to Amsterdam and its history. I had been to Amsterdam before, but now I feel I have a better understanding of it as well as the Dutch people. We also had the pancake lunch. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. I had the best tomato soup I had ever tasted served with pesto. I highly recommend this tour.
A lovely entertaing and informative experience of the history and insights of Amsterdam. Topped up with a lovely Dutch style lunch. Worth repeating.
Our guide was Laura and she was excellent. She was very knowledgeable and easy to understand and very friendly. We were on the Amsterdam walking tour with pancake lunch which was delicious. All in all a great tour with a great guide. We are couple from the US
Jamie was a great tour guide… very knowledgeable about Amsterdam history… the pancake lunch was incredible… many times on tours you get very mediocre Food but we got many choices all were great… it was called pancake masters
Costa was the best tour guide to give the history of Amsterdam. He weaved interesting tid bits of information all throughout the tour which gave us context about the originations of Amsterdam. The pancake lunch at the end was delicious!
This place is very cosy, the setting is beautiful from the paintings on the wall to the ceiling art, which was wonderful. The food was great. If you want to experience the Dutch Pancake, this is the place. Lots of choices. The servers/waiters were very attentive.
We did the tour with David in January and it was an amazing experience. The cheese tasting was delicious. And the staff at the cheese shop was very kind. Excellent!
As with all tours, so much depends on the guide. Ours was guiding tours to practice his English (Spanish native) which made things difficult. Generally speaking the tour was good -- we had arrived the day before so it was nice to get the lay of the land and see some markets. But our guide had a meeting to get to, so he punched in the address of the cheese shop in my phone and we were on our own. The owner of the shop, and all of his staff, were EXCELLENT to us. They were so knowledgeable and treated us very well. Overall a positive experience, but there was a lot of confusion to overcome.
It has been a very interesting and entertaining Amsterdam city tour. Our guide Sara has given us a great time telling us curiosities of Amsterdam. We had visited the city before and it is worth taking a guided tour to discover the city further. Sara is very funny and made us enjoy ourselves very much despite the cold it was, you could tell she enjoys her profession.
We were with Sara, a lovely girl who discovered curiosities from Amsterdam even though we had been more times before
We did the tour with Sara. We went to school in the Netherlands 20 years ago, and we visited Amsterdam several times, but this time it was the first time we really knew the city. Dynamic tour, very pleasant and very didactic. Definitely to repeat!
A highly recommended tour! Very punctual a very entertaining tour, the guide fun and with a lot of knowledge that made us fall even more in love with the city! the tasting a very original idea that made us gather strength to continue enjoying!
Definitely the best tour I ever did in Europe. We learned a lot, we saw a lot and above all we had a great time! 100% recommended
Sehr sympathischer Guide.
