First we’ll visit the old quarter of the Jordaan. See highlights like the Westertoren and the Anne Frank house, taste the original Amsterdam ‘bitterballen’. We’ll navigate via the river Amstel to the Red Light District. See the fabulous storehouses en then visit the hidden side of the city. Cruise past the National Maritime Museum and admire the East Indiaman ship dating from the Golden Age and enjoy the exotic Hortus Botanicus.
The pick up point was a bit out if the way, but no major issues. The captain was very knowledgeable and had lots of personal stories that helped us undertsand the broader way if living in Amsterdam and personal stories of what happened in Amsterdam during the war. The snacks provided were basic but enough. As it was nighttime in November, it was very cold. Warm clothing is important.
Great trip with Stephan. Very knowledgeable guide. Took us round all the beautiful canals and explained lots of interesting things. Open (help your self) bar with delicious snack. Well worth the money and would definitely do again.

This was a fabulous evening trip, the young man that is the captain is very knowledgeable about Amsterdam, gave us a fabulous overview of the city and history, provided some very nice wines, plenty of cheeses and other appetizers. This tour is well woth the money.
It exceeded our expectations. Roland was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and had personal history that really added perspective and death to the experience. The snacks were a nice addition. The wine was very nice. Jenever was fun to taste. Would highly recommend!

This was the best way to start off a 2 day trip to Amsterdam!! Captain Storm was amazing and so knowledgable. Loved the smaller group and boat, definitely better than large tours. The drinks and snacks were tasty. Saw so many of the highlights and by doing it at 4pm you get the night time lights too. Highly recommend.
Cpt. Erik was the absolute best. Extremely knowledgeable on the historical and present day events of Amsterdam. The vessel was clean and spacious. Plenty of snacks, treats and beverages for everyone. The 2 hour tour went by so fast, that I wish it jad been longer. I would HIGHLY recommend doing this activity with this company when visiting the city.

Our guide was Captain Erik and he was engaging, generous, informative and happy to take questions. He showed us lots of Amsterdam and happily shared his personal experience of living in Amsterdam. Snacks and booze were free flowing and the boat was delightful. We would certainly recommend this trip!

Had a blast! The rain made it hard to see out the windows, but our guide (Stan) did his best to show us the sites. Our group was about 18 people. Lots of drinks and some finger foods.
Despite the weather, it was still an enjoyable experience with generous food and drink included and even informative history of amsterdam. Would thoroughly recommend in any weather.
This two-hour canal tour was well worth the time. Our boat driver also acted as our guide, and he knew a great deal. He pointed out many interesting sites along the way and gave us background on each one, which made the trip both enjoyable and informative. Snacks and drinks were provided on board, and we were glad that special dietary requests were handled. The whole trip was relaxing. Gliding along the canals, taking in the views and listening to the commentary was a great way to spend time and appreciate Amsterdam and its canals
The small group gives the oppotunity to know each other and listen to the guide more carefully understanding better the history of the locals and their city. Mare, our guide, done excellent job.

Excellent 2 hour excursion through the canals of Amsterdam on an electric motor boat which makes it nice and quiet. Mare was our guide and ship's captain, and she intertwined history, construction, and lighthearted jokes beautifully. After she poured us our first drink before we started the cruise, the snacks were all self-serve and wonderfully fresh and tasty. Highly recommend!
Host was very friendly and hospitable. Two hour cruise along the scenic canals. Snacks included wine, beer, cheese, bitterballen - all very nice. Host spent some time talking about Dutch culture, history, influence on the West - After a while it was a bit much about how great the social services are in the Netherlands - even with the high taxes. I was less interested in that TBH , but people seem to like it.
Wonderful 2 hour evening trip throughout the canals of Amsterdam...we got to see many canals and even out to the outer deeper water around the city. Guide was excellent, food & drink plentiful. One hour is just not enough, so take this 2 hour trip. You will love it!!
Mare was our boat captain and tour guide. She took great care of everyone and was a wonderful historian and educator of Dutch culture. She even accommodated our collapsible wheel chair which was very helpful and appreciated. There were approximately a dozen guests on board which was comfortable and fun. The hors d’oeuvres and beverages were well done. You won’t go wrong booking this trip.
We loved the cruise! The boat was luxuriously comfortable! We enjoyed the wide selection from the open bar. The included food and snacks were wonderful! I would do this cruise again!

We had this experience refunded. We did not get anything/ knowledge from this tour guide. Stephan did not do a good job.The company was very apologetic and refunded in 4 days.
The small boat gets through the smaller canals, so we felt we saw a little more, especially in the old town area. The guide was obviouly knowledgable, but I was left feeling I knew more about his family than about Amsterdam. There are snacks and drinks, but I'm not convinced the premium price is worth it. Still. we enjoyed the trip, and some form of canal trip is a must.
We loved this canal cruise because of the small size (12 passengers), variety of snack and drink options, entertaining guide, and length (2 hours). Communication was excellent! We were notified of changes with plenty of time. We highly recommend this cruise! Stephan was great!

This was the best experience. Our captain Gert was terrific. He had a lot of history, even shared history between the US and Netherlands. He also was open to any and all questions. He was humorous and even taught us Dutch. Food was very good and I had a bottomless Jenever (Dutch liquor which is dangerously smooth). Amsterdam by canal is amazing. 2 hours is the way to go, don't sell yourself short. 100% recommend.
Very nice 2 hr tour with Captain Storm. Good group of 10 people which was much nicer than the big canal boats. Lots of history and information of Amsterdam with very nice wine and cheese. Definitely worth the price and would highly recommend.
