Our tour guide, Sofia, was excellent! She was knowledgeable and answer all our questions in depth. I can highly recommend her. The tour gives you a great background of how the red light district started and how it works today.

It's an important part of Amsterdam's culture and history, and it's much safer and more welcoming than you might expect. Janine explains everything perfectly and makes you see the area from a completely different perspective. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Amsterdam!

She was very knowledgeable and made it very easy for us to ask questions. I loved how she structured it so we all ended up with a sort of moral dilemma!!

My partner and I attended the 8PM tour with Charlotte on 17 October. She was very knowledgeable and the tour was incredibly interesting, with plenty of twists and turns through the narrow streets of the Red Light District.

This is so much more than you would expect! Excellent source of history of the area. Our guide gave us so much information about the history, the church and how the system works in the district.

The walking tour started off a bit stressful for me because I got lost heading to the meetup point. However, our incredibly considerate guide, Maxym, went above and beyond by calling me on WhatsApp and sharing his location. I was truly impressed by Maxym's extra touch which truly elevated my experience. Once we got started, Maxym’s deep knowledge of the Red Light District's (RLD) history, combined with his jovial personality and engaging storytelling, made the experience both fascinating and fun. Our group of 13 was lively and light-hearted, which added to the great atmosphere. Maxym is a fantastic guide who brings the history of the Red Light District to life with a wonderful perspective and genuine respect for the community of women workers. We left the tour with a newfound appreciation for its past and present. It was a great insightful fun night out. I highly recommend this tour and Maxym as your guide!

Obviously, you can walk around the area without a tour guide, but if you want to hear the history, some facts and understand different parts of the area a guide is a good option. Charlotte’s knowledge was good, but more importantly she engaged with everyone in a positive way.

I really enjoyed the tour and learned a lot. The only aspect that made me a bit uncomfortable was the reminder about tipping at the end. I understand that in some countries it's common to leave a tip in addition to paying for the service, but for me, since the tour had already been paid for beforehand, I felt that the cost already covered the experience. That said, the tour itself was very good, and I appreciated the guide's work and professionalism.

The tour guide was pleasant and met in a timely manner. The information of the area was interesting and informative. I guess we were expecting more information about Amsterdam as a whole. It may have been more worth our time to take a city tour rather than restricting the tour to only the red light district. For the money, it felt a little lacking. We have been to plenty of free walking tours which were much more detailed and informative.

Wonderful tour, the time just flew by! Risheet is a great guide - funny, knowledgeable and comfortable answering all our questions. We learnt a lot about the history of the Red Light District, what it’s like now for both sex workers and their clients and Risheet even had props and pictures to help us better understand his stories. Great value for money; I’d really recommend this!
