Really great experience. Kars our skipper/guide was excellent and gave us a great tour he was very knowledgeable. The boat was easy to find, it was on time and efficient and exactly as advertided. We had a really nice time. Highly recommended.

We booked a number of private Tours and activities in Amsterdam and by for this was our favorite event.
Walter was a great Guido and Skipper. We had a fab time!
Joy was an outstanding boat captain! She made everyone comfortable and provided great information about the canals and city. There was a good variety of wine and the beer was cold. I definitely recommend this tour for anyone that wants to get a good overview of the city and enjoy a few adult beverages along the way!
This is the only way to watch the Pride parade! Front row viewing, could almost touch the floats as they went by. Drinks, snacks and a bathroom!!! Was a great day and party!
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an amazing time on the all-inclusive pizza boat tour for a hen party! There were 10 of us, and from the moment we stepped onboard, Martin made us feel so welcome. He really got involved with the fun hen party atmosphere, had a great sense of humour, and was such a happy, friendly skipper. At the same time, Martin was really knowledgeable and gave us just the right amount of information about the sights during the tour without it feeling like too much. It was the perfect balance of sightseeing and celebrating! The all-inclusive package was excellent value. We each had our own pizza, which was delicious, and there were plenty of drinks available throughout the trip, so nobody went without. We all had such a fantastic evening and would highly recommend this experience to anyone, whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or just looking for a fun evening out. The only small suggestion I’d make is to keep a few blankets onboard. We were on the 9pm–11pm sailing, and once the sun went down it did get a little chilly. It certainly didn’t spoil the experience, but blankets would have been a lovely addition. Thank you, Martin, for helping make our hen do so memorable!
I will not be booking this experience again and honestly, have lost trendendous trust and reliance on Viator. My 'Amsterdam Private boat tour with Unlimited Drinks' was to commence at 5PM. Under meeting point in the provide details for 'How to get there', all that was stated was the dock's location, which is expectedly populated with numerous boats and nothing more specific than that our pick-up "is next to Chinese Restaurant Sea Palace". Therefore, I arrived with 5 others for our reservation at 4:52PM, giving us enough time (or so I thought) to pin down either the captain and/or the boat's whereabouts with no prior detail aside from the aforementioned 'meeting point'. After 10 or so minutes running back and forth the dock, frantically asking every single boat if they had a reservation under my name, I finally called Viator customer service firstly at 5:04PM. The agent on the line then provided additional details that our cruise captain Luke would be wearing an orange polo, standing at the dock next to a boat labeled 'Rose'. This was not true as I proceeded to call out for Luke or identify the boat's name for 10 more minutes. At 5:23PM (mind you, this being my third customer service call), where I inquired if we could cancel or be placed on another boat, the agent finally gets a hold of the captain, and we find him hiding inside his boat, not at all in an orange polo but rather, a white dress shirt, chugging beer, and the concealed name of his boat shrouded by the side of the dock. One could sensibly understand my frustration. Luke was stalling time because the prior party before us had either guzzled all the unlimited drinks that were provided, or this was poor logistical planning on timing and resources in its entirety. I know this to be certain as all 6 of us in the party then witness a smaller boat arriving and loading crates of drinks onto the Rose at 5:35PM. We finally board at 5:40PM and there is broken glass everywhere, most likely left by the previous participants. Our boat trip, which was listed as an 1.5 hour ride, left at 5:40PM and docked back at 6:42PM. I did not ask for the boat ride to be delayed. Even if that were the case, we only experienced 2/3 of the time promised. I was not given requisite information to locate my boat or captain effectively and had a dinner reservation that was cancelled because our boat docked late. The total disregard for professionalism and punctuality mired what was supposed to be a wonderful boat ride celebrating my friends' joint birthday. We had travelled from the States to commemorate this joyous occasion in Amsterdam and instead, were left frustrated and dissatisfied. Given all this, it should be no surprise that I will be seeking at minimum, a partial refund for the huge inconvenience and the inaccurate advertising of services.
We had a wonderful afternoon touring Amsterdam with our amazing guide. The book process was seamless. Finding the meeting point was easy. This was a great opportunity to learn about the history and culture of the city in a relaxed environment.
Fabulous two hour trip on the Titanic. Such lovely hosts Lia and Roger. Really comfortable warm lovely boat. Lots to see hosts were very knowledgable and fun. Really hospitable and friendly. Highly recommend this company and trip. We all had a lovely few hours. Thank you
Amazing boat trip! Super engaging and interesting guide (Fenton), and the boat captain was brilliant. Highly recommend, even on a rainy day!
It was a great experience, the one of the most iconic events for our vacation. Our skipper Peter was very friendly and everything was perfect!
So much fun! Remco was great :) All my friends loved it and it was the highlight of our night. The only thing is we wish we had booked longer!
Had a great time with a group of friends! The skipper was nice and welcoming, would definitely consider this company again for a private canal tour
We booked a private boat for our friend’s bachelorette party and we enjoyed the full time , they are very flexible, friendly and professional. Wines and snack platter had a good quality.
Amsterdam Boat Experience was great. The boat is nice, drinks & food are delicious and above all the enthusiastic Skipper was great. The skipper was very relaxed and told a lot about the city and canals. Also a compliemnt to Noa, the sales lady at the office. She was very helpfull and accurate. Thanks so much!
Great experience, I booked this for a hen party for 10 girls with the unlimited alcohol. It was great, the captain was really nice and we all really enjoyed ourselves and then hen loved it!!
I don’t recommend taking the private tour with Amsterdam Boat Experience. We were expecting a guided tour through the canals but we didn’t receive any explanation. And the boat was not as describe or seen in the pictures. We were kindle welcome to the boat and showed where the wine, beers, and soft drinks where and that was the only explanation we receive.
The boat had a malfunction we didn't even make it 20 minutes. The operator does not work for Amsterdam Boat Company. She felt very bad. We were dropped off on the canal sidewalk. It took me multiple tries to get in touch with the tour operator. Pretty inexcusable. They should have contacted me as soon as the trip was canceled.
overall the tour was good. we had a small speaker that we wanted to listen to music at low volume. but that was not allowed. Besides that, the tour guide was good and the tour was nice. also, the boat was open as seen in photograph. it was really cold. so check weather before you book it
The tour was great! The Guide Luke was really nice and the boat was well prepared with drinks. Also very comfortable. Would defs book it again!!
Excelent experience, a must while in Amsterdam, Cas the skipper and Naomi were really professional and provided great services.
We had a fantastic water tour with Fred. He was very friendly and personable and made our experience in Amsterdam a memorable adventure.
My family had a wonderful evening canal cruise with Remco! This was the perfect activity for our first night in Amsterdam and I would highly recommend it.
Had a great time, did the 2hours canal tour which was perfect, very relaxing. Easy to find, good website instructions.Staff was friendly and had planned for umbrellas which was appreciated as it was very hot. Drinks were ok just classic heineken soft drinks & sauvignon. Would have liked to be able to choose other options.
Positives; The boat left of time and it was a nice boat. Negatives: 1. Our skipper Carlos, didn't speak at all during the whole trip and didn't provide any information of the sights, or Amsterdam in general, he just literally didn't speak at all. ( he was smiley and positive attitude). 2. VERY VERY HOT and no rooftop on the boat, no option of having a bit of shadow during the whole trip.
It was a great trip, great snacks and delicious drinks. The boat was very cosy. The only criticism: we booked an extra guide in German, but only the very nice skipper was on board. It's a pity, even for the extra money paid for it.
We did a canal cruise for my sister in law’s bachelorette. 10 girls in the canals it was quite fun event. We picked unlimited drinks and snacks canal cruise. Drinks are good and really unlimited. Snacks were not very fresh. Boat came 12 minutes late and when we want captain to finish 12 minutes late. He was pissed off. He stopped and let us waited inside of the canal 12 more minutes. That part of the experience was not very kind. But overall canal cruise was good.
It ISN'T a wooden boat and there is NO ROOF - be aware, in case it is raining. It started off when we were at the docking area and there was no-one guiding us to the boat and no sign. We were looking for a wooden boat with a roof (it was actually an open boat rented from Flagship) - luckily there was a tiny bit of roof as it was raining badly. Also no food at all?? We were disappointed. The skipper was ok and that made the experience a bit better.
Didnt get the cheese part of the cost, but had a glass or two of wine. It was a nice hour boat ride around the canals of Amsterdam
I booked the ‘Amsterdam Private Boat Trip with Unlimited Drinks’ for a group of 13 on 17/09 @ 17:00 as part of a stag-do. The pick-up location was a 5-minute walk away from Central station & members of the team were clearly visible when we arrived. Our trip included unlimited Heineken, red or white wine, water, and various fizzy drinks. There was an option to upgrade to include sprits, but we were happy with the beer! Unfortunately, I did not catch the skippers name, but he was a great host, who was knowledgeable, funny & made our experience even better. I would not hesitate in recommending this to all visiting Amsterdam.
very nice canal tour. nice helmsman interesting route. I recommend everyone a great way to pass the time
Super nice day/evening with Lola and Pou! They were friendly, supporting and fun. Would book again for sure!
A great experience - I booked this experience as part of a work trip to Amsterdam and we loved it - Really communicative which made my life as organiser stress free which was really appreciated. Boat, skipper and drinks were awesome.
Amazing boat tour! The guides were extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the area/history. We had cheese and were served drinks on board. They had a wide selection to choose from eg. wine, beer, soft drinks etc. We really enjoyed the tour and would definitely recommend it to others!
Lovely boat and very comfortable for 11 persons! Unfortunately the skipper was rude and aggressive saying that we left the boat “a mess” when we had put everything into the bin as we went. He yanked our hands as we left the boat and proceeded to be on his phone throughout the trip, making it very uncomfortable for us to try and interact. The lady that came onboard to help tidy the boat with him even apologised to us on his behalf so we had the impression he is known for being this way.
This 75 minute cruise hosted by Christophe and Jip more than lived up to expectations. They guys were very friendly and super informative, it was really interesting and as a Brit I will never refer to the Netherlands as being Holland! Thank you very much!
Alcohol was warm, dirty dishes in the boat and we weren’t given any history on our surroundings. Nice sunny day for a boat ride though.
The boat did not arrive at the location that they indicated. We were waiting for one hour, tried to call and send mails, but we did never hear back from them. Avoid at all costs
The whole experience was a bit disorganized and not to our expectations. The schipper was friendly but a bit confused about where to go and gave mixed messages about where he will drop us off and in the end we were late to all our other reservations. For a group of 13 that’s not cool. We started late, the trash from the previous group was still there.
The guides Christophe and Adriana were very funny and give a lot of Gold Informations and traveltips.
Isabelle and case were fantastic! Our second canal boat trip and this was by far the best! The crew was amazing and we would recommend them to anyone
Really nice boat tour. The host were very nice and knowledgeable about Amsterdam. Really recommend to anyone who is visiting Amsterdam
Great trip - learnt lots of fun facts about A’Dam. Boat was clean and comfortable, unlimited drinks and cheese went down well and the guide Freddy Fran was great!
Special thanks to stavros, precila, stef from the flagship for the beautiful ride and nice stories it was funny and exciting
Very scenic trip at 11am. 90 mins felt like a good amount of time and good selection of beer & wine which set us up perfectly for the day.
Great hostess and skipper! Fun and informative plus one hour good amount of time spent on the tour. Definitely worth the experience.
The boat was lovely and our captain Fred made us all feel at home straight away. We went for the unlimited drinks option which was perfect for a hen do! We all felt safe and had a glorious trip around the canals, couldn’t ask for more! Would definitely recommend to his experience to anyone.
Nice organisation and everything was great. Nice organisation and everything was great. Nice organisation and everything was great
Highly recommend! Minnow and Eisa were fantastic! Well spent and highly enjoyable hour tour. Amsterdam cooperated with beautiful weather!
Amazing boat experience with our skipper : PAUL, he’s really nice and the tour was really interesting thanks to the good explications of Paul. (Also good point for the fact that we could take our dog on the boat) !
