Amsterdam Highlights And History Walking Tour

Aaron gave us a great walking tour of Amsterdam. His knowledge of history is deep, which made the tour more meaningful. Aaron had many insights about the places we saw. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Amsterdam. It will help you understand the city, give you your bearings, and make enrich your visit.

This was a really great introduction to Amsterdam. We covered a lot of the main highlights but also some smaller streets and spots we wouldn’t have found on our own. The mix of history and local stories kept it interesting the whole time. Definitely a good tour to do when in Amsterdam

It was a very great and informative tour we had with Andrea. She was so wonderful and showed us all around the city, giving the interesting history and stories behind the different districts of Amsterdam. She was happy to answer any questions we had, and even helped get us to our hotel after the tour

The pace of the tour is moderate but you must be able to stand on your feet and walk for two hours and be alert to bicycle traffic.

James was a very nice person and a great guide. Very knowledgeable. Set a nice relaxed pace for tour and shared lots of info with us. Information we received on meeting location was minimal and did not mention a hotel we were suppose to meet at. We thought the tour may be a bust but James texted, called and walked around a bit and found us. Appreciate his extra efforts or we would have missed a great tour!

Andrea was a great guide. We saw things about Amsterdam we never would have noticed and learnt a lot about the history of the city. Andrea was very knowledgeable and walked at a comfortable pace. Very good value for money.

Aarre was terrific!! Learned so much!! He did a great job answering questions and responding to the interests of the group - all with infectious humor and enthusiasm.

I'd give this guide a 6 if it were available. His knowledge of the history and significance of buildings/areas was fascinating. Our small group of Traveling Texans was mesmerized by his dialogue and guidance. I would highly recommend this tour and Aarre, especially.

Because of very bad weather, we missed the tour at the meeting point. We lost two tours so far, no money refund at all. We had very very bad experiences😥!
