Excellent cruise on beautiful boat with delightful captain. Loved the experience and had a total blast. Would rent the boat again

Very lovely evening on the Amsterdam canals, our skipper Scott was very knowledgeable about the city and provided great service. We did a one hour private cruise and we were dropped us off near our hotel which was very nice. Highly recommend!

Such a gorgeous way to see Amsterdam! Not only is the boat absolutely stunning the view out the boat is next level. The Boat Boys are very welcoming and we had the best experience. 10 out of 10. We will book them on our next trip to Amsterdam.

This was our second time taking a canal cruise through the Boat Boys organization. It was great to see Captain Mark again and see the city from the water. He was on time, picked us up in front of our hotel and in addition to be a nice person, was a great tour guide. Robertino is friendly and responsive. When I requested a specific champagne, he promptly provided options and it was ready and chilled on the boat for our arrival. There’s no better choice for a canal cruise than renting through the Boat Boys.

We had the most perfect experience. Robertino was a great tour guide; he was friendly, interesting and knowledgeable. Our boat was the Ritz, which was ideal as it was raining. We had Prosecco, Heineken and nibbles which were topped up along the way. At the end of the canal tour, we got engaged. Robertino took photos, topped up our glasses and extended our boat trip. We can’t thank him enough for a magical experience. We highly recommend and would definitely book again on our return to Amsterdam. If you are considering a canal tour, this is the way to do it. I was able to book the Tzar boat on the same day & choose a convenient pick up dock! Flexible company with a quick response time. Beautiful boat & Capt Mark made our cruise relaxed & fun. The boat was charming and intimate. The heat was a challenge as breeze in boat is limited so best to go on cooler days. The cruise is intimate with Captain answering questions but to be clear it is NOT a history cruise by any means which we misunderstood. Unless you ask questions little information is offered about beautiful historic Amsterdam. That was a disappointment for us as the cruise was intended to be the launchpad to our visit.

What an amazing discovery! We had an absolutely amazing afternoon on the canals with Carl. The Undine is a stunning boat, and Carl is the perfect guide, fun, personable and very knowledgeable. Thank you for the delicious late lunch too! The afternoon felt like the best boat day out with a friend, rather than a business transaction. Thank you Carl for your hospitality and a memorable, fun afternoon on the canals! We will certainly be back!

The boat is truly stunning! Impeccable cabin upkeep and exquisite decor add to its charm. Joost, our driver, excelled as a gracious host, displaying remarkable kindness. We enjoyed a distinctive experience by collecting dinner from a restaurant during the journey, and the food was exceptional. The thoughtful extra touches they provided were truly remarkable. Undoubtedly, investing in this trip was absolutely worthwhile.

After reading the reviews we decided to book. The private canal cruise with Captain Carl did not disappoint!!! We found the previous reviews spot on! Because of the smaller vessel we were able to venture into smaller, quieter more intimate canals! The experience was a gentle mix of leisure and luxury. Carl was very personable and professional. We loved every minute and will book again on our next trip to Amsterdam!

Great for special occasions as it is expensive. Took an hour and a half tour with a bottle of champagne for around 400 euros. Captain was professional and didn’t say a word. Felt like we were on our own private cruise.

We had an amazing tour! The boat is beautiful inside and out, really exceeding expectations. Tour guide was excellent, really friendly and gave off chilled vibes, gave us some info while still giving us lots of space to have our own conversations. We were even dropped off at our girl at the end as it was on the way back. This trip was brilliant and we would definitely rebook. Thanks again, so worth the money.

We really enjoyed our tour and the captain was really nice and answer all our questions we had about the buildings and city. We will be back definitely but this time with dinner on board. Firstly, this is the single best oversea experience I've had. The Captain, Mark was incredibly fantastic. I proposed to my girlfriend on the private boat tour. I received excellent support and assistance throughout the process to ensure the BIG day went to plan. I'm immensely grateful to the boat boys team and the captain. I can't recommend this experience highly enough. And will definitely be visiting Amsterdam every year with my wife (Of course she said yes!), and I know exactly what experience will be top of our itinerary and with whom :).

Wow! What an amazing intimate tour of Amsterdam. Nick was our tour guide and had so many interesting facts about Amsterdam. We chose the champagne trip and it was so worth it! It was the right level of interesting facts about the city mixed with general conversations about the history of the town and our own life experiences. This is a must if you’re visiting Amsterdam. Celebrated husband's birthday with family and friends on our first trip to the Netherlands. Our first stop was a private canal tour. Booked through Viator and got Pap as our guide. He was funny, friendly and very knowledgeable, he also keep the champagne glasses full. Thanks Pap, the Coopers had a great time!

I booked this canal cruise recently as a surprise for my boyfriend and it was such a wonderful evening. The boat looked brand new and felt so luxurious. My girlfriend and I booked a private canal cruise, and it was a highlight of our trip to Amsterdam. Carl was such a lovely guide, laidback and knowledgeable, and we learned at lot about Amsterdams history and Dutch society. The boat is beautiful and has an interesting history of its own. It's also relatively small and intimate, so we could sit close to Carl and have a conversation (instead of just listening to a guide talking). I would really recommend this cruise to couples, families or small groups who want a relaxed, fun and intimate canal cruise experience. Thank you Boatboys for a great time!
