Stop At: Oudezijds Voorburgwal Start your cruise in one of the oldest parts of the city. These narrow canals date back to the 14th century and are only accessible by small boats — a peaceful hidden corner of medieval Amsterdam.
Stop At: Drift through quiet canals once used by monks and merchants. Surrounded by 17th-century houses and bridges, this area still feels like the Amsterdam of centuries ago.
Stop At: Oude Kerk Built in 1306, the Oude Kerk is Amsterdam’s oldest building. Hear stories of its transformation from a Catholic church to a Calvinist landmark — and its unexpected place in the middle of the Red Light District.
Stop At: Centraal Station See the grand Neo-Renaissance station from the water — designed by Pierre Cuypers (who also built the Rijksmuseum), it once caused outrage for blocking the city’s view of the IJ.

Stop At: Herengracht Sail past the prestigious “Golden Bend,” where Amsterdam’s richest merchants built their grand canal mansions during the 17th-century Dutch Golden Age. These houses, with their ornate facades and deep plots, were a clear display of wealth and power.

The original bridge was so narrow that two pedestrians could barely pass each other — giving it the nickname “Skinny Bridge.”

An incredible experience with Meia and Mikk who took us through the canals of Amsterdam. They had great knowledge of the area which made the hour trip one of the highlights of our time in Amsterdam. We booked the experience at 2:15pm and had another duo with us. The experience was great value for money for unlimited drinks as they took us through various areas of Amsterdam and told us about the history. The hosts were kind and hospitable and made the experience a delight. I would recommend this to anyone and it truly made our trip amazing

Very fun and informative!! The guides Meia and Mikk were lots of fun to talk to and very knowledgeable. They took us to many parts of the city we had not yet seen on foot. There were not many others on our cruise which made it very easy to ask questions and take photos as well!

It was a nice boat trip and the guides and captain were competent and helpful. The boat however is open with a little roof on top and therefore I recommend either putting on thick enough clothes in winter or going in the summer.

Louise and Mikk were fantastic. We did the trip on the 27th October at 6.30pm and it was beautiful. The hosts made us feel incredibly welcome, the tour and locations were picturesque. I'd definitely recommend the trip. I'd go as far to do it again.

An absolutely fantastic experience from start to finish! Tuana was an absolutely incredible host, super engaging, interactive, and full of interesting information that made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Frank, our skipper, was amazing as well. He was was an exceptional captain and made us feel completely comfortable throughout. Both went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. Easily one of the highlights of our trip and something I would highly recommend to anyone!

Even in the rain, this ride was so much fun! If you're in Amsterdam, this is a must-do. Bring your appetite because you can get the cheese and beverages option when you're buying your tickets. We would easily do this again.

Sep 26, 2026, 11:25:36 AM We had a fantastic time on the boat ride with Alexandra and Stephan! The atmosphere was incredibly friendly and relaxed, with around 10 people on the boat, which made the experience feel really personal and enjoyable.
The ride lasted about one hour and cost around €32 per person, which we felt was absolutely worth it. Alexandra and Stephan were both lovely, welcoming, and made the whole experience even better. Beautiful views, great company, and a fantastic atmosphere from start to finish.
We would definitely recommend this boat ride to anyone visiting Amsterdam. Thank you, Alexandra and Stephan, for such a wonderful experience!
