The experience was very good. It was humbling to see and walk through the city where these Jewish people were taken. The reason I rated this at two is because we did not have headsets to hear the guide and often we were walking we couldn’t all hear him. The guide was very passionate about his job, but he told us a lot of things that were not relevant to the Jewish community at that time.

Very knowledgeable guide and he covered most of the history of Amsterdam as well as the Frank family. We saw lots of Amsterdam which we would not have seen if Giovanni had not shown us. A worth while experience and good value for money.

Outstanding tour. Our guide was a talented story teller and brought photos from the 1930s and 1940s and charts to supplement what we were seeing and discussing. Heavy subject, but really interesting. Good to pair with a visit to the Anne Frank house, which is not included in this tour. We bought those tickets separately. Highly recommend this walking tour!
I mistakenlI mistakenly booked it for the wrong day (the day I was looking at it rather than the date I was visiting Amsterdam). I emailed them, and they amended the order. I was very grateful for their speedy response. My 14-year-old daughter and I met the tour guide and the small group; everyone was very pleasant. The guide then took us on a short walk and talked about Anne Frank, reciting some sections from the diary, which felt very poignant at points. I found it interesting and a little emotional at times. It reminded me of the diary, which I haven't read since school (many years ago). I had a separate booking to visit the Anne Frank House, and this was a fantastic precursor to that. Note that this is not included in this booking and is completely separate.
