Amsterdam Airport Arrival Transfer (Airport To Amsterdam Hotel Or Address)

Our driver was on time, had great communication and made the transfer from the airport to hotel very easy. I would highly recommend.

I was excited to schedule this... then... travel nightmare began. Weather, airlines, etc causing flight changes and delays. I messaged Viator through MyTravel on WhatsApp and via email from last correspondence my changes. They respo ded that less than 24 hrs no cancellation or changes???? What about unexpected travel issues? Nope! They finally said call the driver when you land. I did. They did not get the correspondence, showed up at the original time, 8 hrs before we actually arrived and put us in as a no show and charged the $116... Future me knows uber was on $57 for the 4 of us. Never use Viator again.

Our driver had to leave due to the length of time it took for us to get through passport control. He arranged got another driver to pick us up. Our new driver was wonderful, vehicle was spotless and driver was very informative.

I have used Viator for tours and airport pick ups. They have gone above and beyond accommodating me.

Clearance through customs took for ever but timely communications with the service provider was excellent and although we finally got to pick up location o er 2 hours late the driver was still there waiting for us.

Airport meeting point information and directions were totally inaccurate. We spent an hour of frustration. trying to follow the directions Viator provided to meet our driver at AMS, The same inaccurate information was sent to us multiple times without any corrections. Fortunately, our driver waited extra time, and we were somehow able to finally find our driver in a totally different area from where we were instructed to go to. Our driver, Zakaria was excellent and provided friendly and efficient service once we were able to find him. I would not recommend Viator for finding transportation services.

The car was at the airport on time and the driver was very nice. The van was very clean. My only negative is that my reservation said the driver would be in the airport with a sign with our name on it, instead he texted me to meet him outside. That was a bit disappointing.

One hour wait for passport control so we could not get our bags and meet driver in by the one hour after arrival. Had to wait another hour for bags. Driver did wait however he had to charge extra due to delay. So not worth it. Just take a taxi.

No complaints about the driver getting us to our hotel in Amsterdam, he as very nice and polite. The car was large enough to handle us and our luggage. What I found confusing were the meeting point instructions. After I booked the transfer on Viator there were very specific instructions on where to meet and it said that the driver would be holding a placard with my name. Once we landed I started getting texts with new meeting point instructions. Instead of meeting in the arrivals area we were meeting outside in the departures level of the airport. It also didn't help that the exit where the driver told us to meet was blocked off and closed at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol. When we did finally find him, no sign with my name. After a long overnight flight I just didn't expect such confusion.

The driver was in communication with me & I had no trouble finding him even though there were SO many people that were at the airport. He had me at my hotel within 25 mins.
