The deep of the history of Anne Frank should be experience by a walking tour. Incredible depth of history is provided, a lot of locations are covered with significant history however be prepared to walk a distance (but it was with it). I walked away feeling extremely emotional and glad I booked this tour. It showed how little I knew of the story of Anne Frank and the what the Dutch people experienced during war time. My your guide was Emma who was an endless book of knowledge and exceptional!

Very interesting tour given by Cristina. We learned a lot and discovered many interesting locations. The anecdotes and readings of the diary were a great addition!
It was totally worth the price we paid. Highly recommended!
Guide was the best ever. She was very personable and lovely. We were originally supposed to be on a 3:00 tour but you changed it because that guide was ill. She we went at 10:30 and the meeting spot was different that the 3:00 tour. We finally were able to meet up with the group thanks to the wonderful guide.
I booked this tour as a solo traveler and was very impressed by the young woman who led our group. Giorgia is a young Italian woman, who was both friendly and knowledgeable. She did an admirable job of maintaining a steady pace that worked well for our mixed group of older and younger people. She answered questions thoroughly and did a nice job. I felt it was a good use of time and money. Thumbs up for Giorgia. Don’t forget to have a tip available for your guide.
Eden was a great guide and it was a good way to get a better perspective before we went through the Anne Frank House.
I did the tour with a lovely guide called Cristina who was very attentive and welcoming. She made sure that all our questions about the history were answered. Her explanations were insightful and easy to follow. I had an amazing time and would highly recommend :)

Rafael was an incredibly knowledgeable and engaging guide. He opened my eyes to so many fascinating historical details throughout the city that I otherwise would have completely missed. I came away with a much deeper appreciation for the history and stories behind what I was seeing. Highly recommend!
Valentina war super nett, super gute und informative Tour.
Valentina was an absolute gem! Full of knowledge and enthusiasm. One of the best tours I've ever been on thanks to her.
Absolute wonderful guided tour with extremely knowledgeable guide Valentina who made every moment special!
The Anne Frank Walking Tour was very interesting and informative! Cristina was so easy to listen to and you can clearly see how passionate she is about learning and sharing history. It was an easy-going and friendly tour but also incredibly respectful of the topic and people involved. After our tour we are excited to join some of the other tours on offer- highly recommend!
We learnt alot through this tour, the history, not only about Anne but also the Jewish, Nazi and the world War 2. We walk in a small tour and it is just nice, 9 of us in total, we appreciate Christine explanation
Camilla was a great guide. Lots of information.
This is a 2 hour walking tour quite informative & our guide Aurora was educated & fun. Unfortunately this does not include a tour of Anne's house.
Sofia G was an amazing guide! She was so knowledgeable about the area we walked and the history about Anne Frank and the Jewish community. She was compassionate and sensitive when talking about the Holocaust history. I thought it was a special touch when she would read from Anne Frank's diary throughout the tour. It was very informative and moving experience. Highly recommend!
This was a wonderful tour! This tour gives you so much more information about Anne Frank's life and helps you picture the situation of Jews in Amsterdam during that period of time. It's poignant without being too sad and I feel like I learned so much about a really important time in history. In addition, it was also a great tour of the city as we walked to each of the places that added context and helped me understand Anne's story much better. Bring some good walking shoes. Highly recommend!
The tour was fantastic. Full of history and from a point of view of respect. Emma our guide was fantastic, lovely and very kind.
Anna was an AMAZING tour guide. She walked us through the life of Anne Frank and had answers to all of our questions. The rain that stopped our tour for a few minutes didn’t stop Anna. She was an incredible trooper. Highly recommend this tour and Anna was great.
The tour itself was good and informative. My only complaint is that the tour ended at the Holocaust Monument, NOT at the Anne Frank House as advertised. I had 18 minutes to get back in time for our House tickets and 1.4 miles to walk!
Daniel our tour guide was one of the best guides we have had over the years! His knowledge and information he gave us was amazing 👌🏻 He knows his stuff and it was so enjoyable, thank you.
Good!! Booked the wrong trip, thought it was a guided tour in Anne Franks house, but this tour taught me so much about the history of the Netherlands during WW2. And since I didn’t know very much about Anne Frank, this tour was perfect because I got a much better picture of who she and her family were, that I think will make my experience at the Anne Frank house much more meaningfull.
Valentina was very informative and a great guide
Very knowledgeable and informative
We enjoyed the walking tour of Amsterdam and our guide - Claire - was pleasant, knowledgeable and professional . We started at the Ann Frank House and visited the sites relative to the Jewish Community and WWII. I am glad we took this tour but regret I did not read the description carefully . This tour does not provide admission to the Ann Frank House or Museum. I am disappointed I did not do the necessary research as I would have booked tickets also
Tour of Anne Frank, with Valentina, very well prepared guide! Thanks so much for her kindness, smiles and professional skills
Valentino was incredibly informative and engaging, her love and passion for history shone. Kept it fun despite the hideous rain.
Johanna was very competent and informed us about a lot of facts about jewish life in Amsterdam
Noe was a fantastic guide. Very informative. Nice guy
Lili was the best tour guide <3
Horrible & very disappointing. We came all this way, paid and “ thought” our confirmation for touring Anne Frank House was set, only to get there & be told they don’t accept Trip Advisor tickets. So, we weren’t able to tour any of the Anne Frank exhibits. I was extremely angry & disgusted that Trip Advisor took our money for a bogus reservation.
Small group and well structured enjoyed so much. Stefanie was definitely good on explaining Anne Frank and the history and was really accommodating to any questions asked by the group
Totally worthwhile! Stefanie was our kind and informative guide for 2 hours as we walked and learned about Anne Frank, WWll and the Jewish quarter. You start by the Anne Frank statue and end at the holocaust memorial monument. The tour prior to the Anne Frank House did provide more context and information.
Our tour guide valentina was very good she made it interesting and she's very nice
our tour guide was amazing valentina her name is did a amazing job
We had a tour with Valentina was such a good tour. A sad tour but throughly enjoyed. Valentina was so informative and very passionate about the information she gave us. She even stayed at the end for tens mins to answer any questions.
Valentina is the best!!! She was lovely and well prepared.
Johanna was a very kind guide, very well spoken and interesting way of storytelling and reading
Valentina was an exceptional guide. Her knowledge of Anne Frank, the history of Amsterdam, and the city in general was outstanding. She made the tour both informative and enjoyable, keeping everyone engaged throughout with her enthusiasm, storytelling, and ability to involve the group. I would highly recommend taking a tour with her.
Fantastic! So clever guide. She knew so much. Highly recommended
Victoria was so helpful and knowledgable!
I enjoyed the tour. Very informative. Good guide.
As we are elderly we felt the guide walked way to fast for us so we had to pull out of our tour which was ashame . Maybe you should consider to have tours for elderly people like us .
I had an excellent experience with Johanna as our guide. She was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and approachable throughout the entire tour. What made it especially enjoyable was that it felt like a genuine conversation rather than a lecture—I had the chance to discuss different topics, compare perspectives, and she was happy to answer every question I had, even about Amsterdam in general and local life. I highly recommend taking this tour before visiting the Anne Frank House. It provides essential historical context and many insights that are often overlooked, not only about Anne Frank’s life but also about the history of Dutch Jews during the 1940s. It really helps you better understand and appreciate what you will see at the museum. An informative, engaging, and meaningful experience that I would definitely recommend.
A really good learning tour for anyone that loves history and expanding their understanding of a new location. Valentina was really knowledgeable and a bubbly personality so helped the tour fly by (and a lot more information than just the Anne Frank story for those who are curious). We had loads of questions which she graciously answered and her passion for Amsterdam is clear. We could not recommend her enough; a great way to learn about the war, Anne Frank and the city.
Our tour guide, Daniel, gave us a wonderful and informative tour about Anne Frank, her family, the history of the Nazi regime, and the profound impact it had on Amsterdam. Would definitely recommend.
Very engaging and informative tour that explores Anne Frank’s life, whilst weaving in the history of Amsterdam and WW2 in a powerful manner. Our guide, Daniel, was wonderful and did an amazing job at telling this somber yet inspiring story, whilst thoroughly answering all the questions that came his way. Great experience, well worth the money.
We had an amazing time with Daniel! He explained the entire history of Anne Frank so clearly and passionately that we didn’t even notice the two hours go by. He was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and made the story come to life in a very meaningful way. We learned so much and would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Amsterdam. Thank you, Daniel, for such a memorable experience!
