Wonderful Skipper! Super informative and passionate about the city's history. Since the ship is covered, we stayed warm and comfortable.

Itinerary
The 17th Century Canal Ring in the hart of Amsterdam
The controversial 'Stopera'. An area with mixed emotions for the people of Amsterdam.
One of the smaller canals of the city. Beautiful in its serenity and quietness.
The Dutch and cheese go hand in hand. Visit one of our cheese museums and explore and taste the Dutch cheese history.
Pass the world famous 'Anne Frank' house
The most prestigious church in Amsterdam.
We will sail over the famous 'Amstel river', Well known for its usage creating our 'Amstel beer.'
The most famous bridge of Amsterdam. 'The Magere brug / Skinny bridge.'
Go through the famous 'Prinsengracht.' One of the favorite canals of the city and always the one where events are organized.
The most prestigious canal in the city. During the 17th century, this was the place where you could find the most wealthy people on earth because of the spice trade.
The most famous museum in Amsterdam and the location where you can view our most treasured art pieces. The 'Night's Watch' of Rembrandt van Rijn is here as well. Unquestionably the most treasured art piece in our country
Nemo is one of the most striking museums in experience but also in construction. The combination of designs and the usage of copper makes this a unique building.
Central Station was constructed in 1889 and designed by famous architect 'Piere Kuyper.' Also known for his designs of the 'Rijksmuseum'.
The famous and somewhat unusual 'Sea Palace.' Visitors from Hong Kong might recognize this restaurant from their hometown. This is an exact replica of a restaurant located in Hong Honk.
One of the most beautiful canals in the city. Perfectly aligned with the sunset in the summer this canal offers some of the best picture moments during sunset in the city.

The driver/guide was brilliant, with just the right amount of humour. He was very knowledgeable. The drinks and snacks made the evening cruise all the better.
We really enjoyed this quiet evening cruise on the canal with a very friendly guide. Our guide was knowledgeable and provided recommendations for local places to go. It was definitely worth the price for such a beautiful night.
Tour operator didn't give the right meet up address. Would not recommend Victor did refund us After speaking with operator and realized they didn't have proper meet up
Just awesome. What a great guide and an unforgettable tour. It was romantic and funny all at the same time. He took us under the skinny kissing bridge, and I laid a kiss on my girl right there—perfect moment. Drinks and food were fabulous. Couldn’t have asked for a better evening. 9/16/26 at 7pm.
Sven our guide and driver was amazing so knowledgeable, funny and kind. We found out so much about the city and the culture. It was stunningly beautiful at night despite the rain. We would highly recommend this tour and Sven.
It was pleasant and peaceful but not extraordinarily so. The guide was thoughtful and gracious but didn't provide a great deal of commentary, Perhaps that's because we travelled through several quiet residential neighborhoods. Perhaps it was because he carried on lengthy conversations in Dutch with the group of young Dutch people (all English speakers) while leaving the 3 English speakers to ponder the sites on our own. To his credit, he did point out main points of interest. And again, the experience was pleasant. But it could have been so much better if the guide had had fuller engagement with ALL of his guests. Lastly, be sure to note that drinks are not included in the basic price. You must add a drink option to your ticket or just pay per drink if you prefer. We can recommend the trip but not with high enthusiasm.
Mark was a great host. Would recommend this tour for anyone coming to Amsterdam.
Great canal cruise in a lovely old boat
Informative and fun! Mark was a great guide and answered questions.
We had great and relaxing time. Our cruise director had a lot of good information. He had a great sense of humor. It was great to choose the drinks we wanted. The prices were reasonable. He also provided us with good Dutch snacks. Gouda cheese of course and cheese crackers.
It was very pleasant cruising through the canals. The quality of the wines were surprisingly good and plentiful if you had the drinks package. They served a nice platter with some cheese etc. The picture shows an enclosed boat, ours was open which was great because it was a beautiful evening. Perhaps they run the enclosed boat when it is rainy?
Great fun and good service. Boat was spacious and covered for all weather. Meeting place easy to find on a quiet street. 9:00 pm cruise is perfect if you want to capture both sunset and twilight hour. One of the longer canal cruises…2 hours instead of typical 90 mins. Our captain host was very accommodating….individual charcuterie boards were given to each passenger, and with drink package, refills flow. I did a lot of research before selecting this company. You won’t be disappointed. Classic, clean and covered canal boat.
Very relaxing and scenic - skipper was personable and knowledgable of local scenes and customs. Snacks were a nice addition to the cruise.
Tour was good enough. Skipper was ok with some commentary, but also interested in pushing drinks he sold on the boat. It was a way to ride through the canals and see all the tourists and some locals doing the same.
Our guide A was so engaging and knowlegeable and the boat was small enough to be personal. Such a great introduction to Amsterdam
Excellent tour of the canals. Comfortable cozy boat. Little difficulty for senior citizens to get in out of boat. Could use ramp or step stool. Good price for the 2hr Boat. Didn't see the lights on bridges because sunset after tour ended. Guide was knowledge good sense of humor. Perfect number people on boat
Pleasant tour of the canals. Small group of 16. Good ambiance. Drinks not free. Great guide with a lot of history
That was one of the most beautiful experiences I have had in a long time. The snacks and drinks were well curated. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and engaging with a mix of personal stories and history- and a great sense of humor. I was a solo traveler and so happy that I booked this experience- it is a great way to see the city. Magical!
Captain was great. Gave excellent information on the tour. Communication with passengers was very good.
Very knowledgeable, professional and ready for all kinds of weather. Take this early in vacation so you can use information the rest of your stay.
This would have been a 5 star review but we got there at 8:00 for our 8:15 cruise but after waiting we called the office to find out that the time had changed to 9:00 pm. We were never informed. 🤷♀️ The skipper ((Sven) was exceptional. He made our evening wonderful.
We loved our tour. Sven was great. There was a nice selection of wine, champagne, beer, and soft drinks available and the cheese board was a nice touch. Seeing the city from the canals at night was a fun way to see a lot of the city, especially if you don’t want to walk. We highly recommend this tour!
It's a lovely way to see Amsterdam. The boat itself is small, intimate and comfortable. We were supplied with snacks and drinks throughout the tour. Our guide Sven was informative and entertaining. Happy that we went at sunset, when the colours and lights of the city change.
Fantastic Night Canal Cruise in Amsterdam! Our guide was born and raised in Amsterdam and it showed! He was friendly, honest, genuine, self-deprecating, and genuinely funny. He shared great history along with personal anecdotes that I could actually relate to, which made the whole tour feel much more personal and enjoyable. We booked the 9:00 pm slot specifically to see the city lights, and it was the perfect choice. Having already seen the daytime views, the nighttime contrast was beautiful and really highlighted the canals in a whole new way. The snacks and drinks provided were just the right amount, especially since we had already eaten dinner beforehand. My wife, her sister, her husband, and I all thoroughly enjoyed the full two hours. It was a highlight of our trip! **Only tiny suggestion:** Adding some soft background music would enhance the ambience even more. Other than that, it was excellent – highly recommend!
Tour operator canceled our trip with very little notice. We are waiting to see if we get a refund. Viatour, if you are monitoring this review, please issue a refund as we are unable to contact you internationally.
Robert did a great job with driving and narrating, plus bar tending. Time flew by and we saw a lot of interesting sights.
Cas was fabulous !!!!He provided from the very start of the trip a beautiful charcuterie board for us to enjoy and had much enthusiasm in his presentation during the trip. He pointed out the house boats on the river and explained some interesting facts about several of them. Cas showed us historical buildings along the river with a description of their history. We learned about tilting buildings, the largest home on the river, the beautiful bridges and preparation for King’s day. He also discussed cultural facts regarding Amsterdam. Lastly where we good get a taste of a great Dutch Apple pie!
A wonderful way to start our Amsterdam trip! We learned a ton, the wine and snacks were delicious, and we had a great time chatting with the people on the boat. Our captain was knowledgeable and hilarious. Highly recommend!!!
We really enjoyed our canal cruise with our guide, captain, and bartender, Able, at the helm. The nibbles were tasty and there was a nice selection of drinks.
Boat ride started off nicely with snacks and wine. You pay for drinks and they have good selection. Snacks are free. It is open boat that can seat 12-15 so best for nice days. Unfortunately the boat stopped working on way back so we were let off early. Fortunately for us, it was close to our hotel
Very informative! Guide was very helpful and inquired about our needs several times! The snack boards were delicious and had a good variety of flavors!
The guide was funny and engaging. He was very conversational allowing your questions to help guide the information shared.
What a wonderful evening- we saw the beautiful sites, had wine and appetizers and made new friends. It was an amazing experience and our guide and the boat were wonderful. Highly recommend this fun activity.
It was a great time, and we enjoyed our host and the tour he took us on. He was very informative and prepared, kept us warm, and had a good spread of refreshments.
Said was enclosed boat, but was open both ends dificulty finding dock was not handicap accessible we froze to death even with 2 blankets guide was ok only 12 passengers had to crawl out of boat! Requesting a refund
Loved this tour. Beautiful evening. The boat was cozy, lovely food and drink, and our skipper was outstanding!
Great night - great guide/ operator. Knowledgeable. I would recommend the evening tour as the canal lights are beautiful when on.
I really enjoyed the young man who captained our boat. He was very informative and fun. Even with the rain, we had a wonderful nighttime tour. The 2nd hour we were able to open the plastic and actually see outside. Before we left the dock, I did not appreciate the owner telling me I had to move from my seat so a group of 8 could be together in the front. I was the first one to the dock and on the boat. I thought that was rude.
So easy to book and the directions were really clear, making the pick-up point simple to find. The boat was clean, cosy, and super comfortable. The Dutch snacks were a hit and it was very easy to grab a drink along the way. The best part was our captain — a young guy but incredibly knowledgeable. He told us all about Amsterdam, its history, and the stories behind the incredible buildings and canals we passed. He made the whole experience so interesting and enjoyable. We absolutely loved our time on this tour and would highly recommend it.
We had an incredible nighttime canal ride in Amsterdam! The city looked absolutely magical under the lights, and the whole experience was smooth, relaxed, and full of great stories. Abel was on top of his game — engaging, funny, and incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s history and hidden gems. It felt like we were seeing a completely different side of Amsterdam. Highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for a memorable evening on the canals!
We ended up having a private, night tour of Amsterdam with Jay due to some rainy weather. Jay shared some interesting facts about Amsterdam and recommended a few good local spots to try some food. We enjoyed it!
I had a beautiful ride and would do it again!!!!! We had a little rain but there was great communication and there was also great history!
Informative, Tour Guide had great sense of humour. Recommend, especially when the lights on the canal festival starts in November..
Failed to meet expectations . Very cramped and uncomfortable seats with very limited views of canal. Possibly due to rain -- limited views because plastic canopy was down to shield us from the rain. On the positive side the captain was friendly and informative. Cruise probably hit all the highlights, if we could have seen them. Food for three people was cheese board with a few grapes and few pieces of salami. Don't skip dinner!!!
Absolutely lovely tour through the canals of Amsterdam. Tour guide (Gert) was great. He did a wonderful job of explaining much of the history of Amsterdam and show us the beautiful sights. Would highly recommend.
The oprerator/guide/owner was amusing, informed, and well-spoken. The ambience on the boat was perfect, with nice snacks and a great wine selection. The small group size was appreciated.
This was a wonderful tour, although raining the captain was super knowledgeable and we were able to see most things and learn so much about this wonderful city. We were comfortable and the snacks and drinks were a great choice to munch on throughout the cruise. Thank you for a great introduction to this city!
It was a lovely canal cruise with excellent guidance from our skipper Mark or was it Matt? Lol. Nice wine and a view of the beautiful scenery Amsterdam has to offer in the evening. Highly recommend it. Make sure you're rugged up as it can get cold, but they do provide blankets.
What a wonderful experience! Our guide, Sven, was knowledgeable and entertaining! If you're in Amsterdam don't miss this!
