Myself and my wife stayed here for two night this week. The rooms are small but just right. Bed was really comfortable. The staff were all really helpful. It's the perfect location to walk to lots of attractions. The zoo is just across the road. The tram (14) from the Central Railway Station is only 10 minutes and it stops a out 50 metres from the hotel. When we come to Amsterdam again we will stay here again.
Pleasantly surprised at how beautoful and unique this hotel is! The staff are great and informative. The hotel itself is stunning. They offer little candies and treats all over the bar/entrance/foyer along with flavored water. The room are small but very nice and clean. The location was a bit far from the city center however the tram made is easily accessible to all areas. Highly recommend!
We stayed in this hotel for 4 nights in 2 different 2 rooms. A double for me and my husband and our son in another double room the other side of the building. Staff’s attitude and behavior was second to none. Polite and understanding. I had issues with the noise under our window for 2 nights which they dealt with it smoothly. The gym in the hotel is a decent which is open 24 hours. Hotel’s designated parking is not in the building and is placed a few blocks away. We didn’t have breakfast in the hotel then can’t make comments. They also provide you free drinks on your arrival and you can either have it at that time or can have it later. The reception area is pleasant and you can play different board games or chess. Location is ok. Will take about 30 mins to the center. The reason that I gave a 4 star is the WiFi connection which was absolutely awful. I hope the management look into it.
My family (wife, daughter, sister-in-law and my niece) recently stayed at the Leonardo Boutique in the middle of July, and we were very pleased with the hotel overall and the value vs. cost for the time we spent in Amsterdam. The hotel is very well decorated, and the lobby/lounge area was exceptionally comfortable and inviting. The staff were all very friendly and attentive, and very knowledgeable about the attractions around the city. The room that my wife and I stayed in was very good (the bed was a king, so that made it very comfortable), with the lone exception being that the bathroom is extremely small, which is the only reason why I would not give the hotel a 5/5. It was very hard to maneuver around in the shower box and around the sink, and I am by no means overweight. Their weight/fitness room was nicely equipped, although not exactly to a very high standard, but still workable and that was sufficient for our stay. This is definitely a hotel I would stay at again if in Amsterdam, and would recommend to others if they are looking for a quiet yet upscale hotel with a very good breakfast offering and close to the center of Amsterdam.
I usually don’t do reviews but this place truly deserves a higher rating. From the second I arrived to the second I left everything was perfect! I’ve stayed at many 5 star hotels and even there, I have never had such a genuine and friendly experience with staff. Usually it seems as they put on a fake smile because it’s their job, but not here. Everyone truly was so warm, welcoming and kind, fulfilling all emergency requests. No matter what I needed, they made it possible! Not even a late checkout was an issue here. I stayed in the Superior King room and I was pleasantly surprised of how spacious everything was. The pictures definitely made it seem much smaller. Yet the modern and bright rooms perfectly represent what the rooms looked like, including a nice view with beautiful sunlight in the morning. The location was perfect, everything was reachable within a short walk. Yet a much better experience than being right in the center. This was my first time staying here but definitely not the last! -Big thank you to the Team, you made my trip perfect
