Reiwa

My husband and I stayed at Reiwa from 27 – 30 June 2024 and it was an extraordinary experience! As soon as we arrived, I was enchanted by the beauty and diversity of the garden. The house is beautiful and modern, and when Tom showed us the room, we were in for a huge surprise: all the amenities in the bathroom, many towels, different kind of pillows to choose, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle, capsules of milk and coffee, tea bags, and also a powerful hair dryer. The room – beautifully decorated - is actually a suite, with armchairs and a coffee table. Wow! Tom and his five pampered their guests by thinking about the smallest details, and we felt as if we were in a five-star hotel. As if it was not enough, Tom offered us bicycles to move around the city, which has increased our experience of living a few days as authentic Dutch! It’s also important to mention that the mattresses are so comfortable and of superior quality, and absolutely everything was super clean. In this house you can hear the voice of silence, and rest is guaranteed. I thought I would get dizzy because it was a houseboat, but I haven’t felt any movement. Everything was absolutely perfect and this is a highly recommended place to “live” in Amsterdam.

Wow. Where do I start? The hosts are absolutely lovely. Ton was receptive to our every need. When we were leaving he even offered to drive us to the station! A lovely man. And his wife Tomoko and he made amazing breakfasts every day! If you book through their website instead of one of the hotel websites the breakfasts are included so def do that! And it helps them out too. The location is nice. Quiet, a short walk from a bus and trolley stop that will take you anywhere. If you want lively there's a strip a ten minute walk away. This area is quiet so if you're trying to party this isn't for you. But if like us you want to be near fun things but not on top of it the location is perfect. Easy to walk, run, or bike from. The rooms are cozy. We had trouble getting out of bed every day! So comfortable. Perfect for a romantic hideaway. They are small, just enough room for the two of us and our luggage. Def not fancy. But this isn't really a negative. Just don't expect some influencer level thing. It felt very liveable like we could stay there longer and be perfectly comfortable. They even provided robes and water for us. We really can't say enough good things about this cozy b&b. We will 100% percent stay there again when we come back to Amsterdam.
