Nh Collection Amsterdam Barbizon Palace

An absolutely wonderful hotel in the heart of the city! I stayed in a Premium Room with a beautiful view of the canal, and everything was perfect. The room was spacious, the bathroom was brand new, and everything felt fresh, modern, and beautifully maintained. The hotel was spotlessly clean, elegant, and very comfortable. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious, with a great selection and amazing quality. What truly made my stay special was the staff — everyone was so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely caring. You really feel valued as a guest, and the team goes above and beyond to make your stay as pleasant as possible. I’m extremely happy with my experience and would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for comfort, excellent service, and a perfect central location. I will definitely be coming back on my next visit!

We had a wonderful time in Amsterdam. The hotel was in a perfect position, opposite the train station and next to the canal. The staff were very helpful and efficient. I would particularly like to thank Jan who we saw at breakfast most days. He was always kind, funny and if we ever needed advice he could help us out, either for food or tourist advice.

It was a great location if you want to be close to the station, a 15 minute walk from dam square or most other neighbourhoods you may want to visit. Great staff, great rooms, amazing breakfast. We had a little trouble with housekeeping but they sorted it out as soon as I had a conversation with them and they even checked in on us after our stay. Would definitely go back and recommend others to stay here.

A wonderful hotel in an excellent central location. The rooms were comfortable and beautifully maintained and the entire hotel was spotless throughout our stay. The staff were friendly welcoming and always happy to help. We also appreciated the option to skip daily room cleaning in exchange for a complimentary bottle of water which was a thoughtful touch. The jazz music playing through the speakers in the lobby added a warm and cozy atmosphere and made the space feel even more inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would gladly choose this hotel again on our next visit.
