We had a wonderful stay at NH Amsterdam Centre and truly enjoyed every moment of it. The breakfast was excellent, and the service was outstanding. Everyone was very kind and welcoming, which made us feel comfortable and at home throughout our stay.

I had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back. The location was perfect, right in downtown Amsterdam. One side of the hotel opened to a beautiful canal with great views at night, while the other led to plenty of shops and restaurants.
The breakfast was excellent with lots of options, including made-to-order omelets and great coffee. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and I had an amazing view.
The staff were friendly, welcoming, and always helpful. I also appreciated the complimentary water and candy in the lobby. Overall, a fantastic hotel that I’d highly recommend.
We booked a Family Suite for around €500 per night, expecting a high standard of service and cleanliness. Unfortunately, when we arrived at 3:00 p.m., the room was still messy and clearly had not been properly cleaned. To make matters worse, the baby cot provided was broken.
After reporting the issue, someone came about 30 minutes later, but only replaced the towels before leaving. The room itself remained unclean. When we raised the issue again with reception, we were told that housekeeping has until 5:00 p.m. to clean the rooms due to a "new policy." This was never communicated in advance and is simply not acceptable for a hotel at this price point.
As compensation, we were offered a complimentary drink at the bar. While the gesture was appreciated, it did not address the inconvenience of arriving with a family and a young child to an unprepared room. At this level, guests expect the room to be ready at the advertised check-in time, not a free drink.
For €500 per night, I expected a much more professional experience. Sadly, this was a very disappointing start to our stay.
