Movenpick Hotel Amsterdam City Centre

I had an excellent experience at Mövenpick Hotel. The staff were outstanding throughout my stay, demonstrating genuine warmth, professionalism and a strong commitment to guest satisfaction. I particularly appreciated the reception team, who handled a minor double-booking issue promptly, efficiently and with exceptional courtesy. They went above and beyond to resolve the situation and ensure that my needs were fully accommodated, turning a potentially inconvenient situation into a very positive experience. The team's attentiveness, flexibility and willingness to help made a lasting impression. It was refreshing to experience such excellent customer service. Overall, a thoroughly enjoyable stay, and I would happily return and recommend the hotel to others. My sincere thanks to the entire team!

Had a lovely time at the Movenpick and hope to stay here again next time I visit Amsterdam! All of the staff was incredibly kind and professional and went above and beyond during our stay. Gio at the concierge desk was lovely and a special shout out to Niklos at the reception desk as well. I had a letter to mail very last minute and he was incredibly helpful! The rooms were very well appointed and comfortable. And what a beautiful view!! We found plenty to do within a 15 minute walk but there is also a tram station across the street for easy access to the rest of the city.

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our stay at the Movenpick in Amsterdam. Pros: The hotel and amenities are all modern, up to date, and beautiful. The breakfast is huge with a ton off offerings and all the food we ate at the hotel was very good. Public transit is just across the street and takes you right into the city center. Cons: The air condition in the room did not go as low as we would have liked so my husband and I were a little warm when we slept. There is not a lot out there by the hotel (i.e. not stores or restaurants) so staying at the hotel does require a little more planning (i.e. its a 15 min walk to city center restaurants and shops or a short train ride).

We had a wonderful experience throughout our stay at the hotel. Well-maintained facilities, comfortable room, good location, suitable services but mostly amazing staff. We would like to highlight Arthur and Arlene at breakfast (Floor 2 Restaurant) which always made our day start in a very positive mood, Nikos and Mostafa at the Front Desk who were always available to sort our requests and Ethan and Simao at the Bar who were always kind to provide some advice and meet our expectations. We will for sure consider this hotel again when travelling to Amsterdam.
