We loved our stay. Location is fab, we enjoyed the tram ride into Amsterdam and it allowed us to explore a bit more than we would have otherwise. The room was fab. We LOVED the shower. Clean, spacious and we had a good view from the 6th floor We had cocktails and nibbles at sky bar twice and we could not fault a thing. Would definitely stay again ❤️

GOOD - Very modern architecture and nicely designed interior. - Lovely sky bar with music (played from speakers, no DJ) and nice view of the sea, albeit not open roof. - Good location in a quiet residential area, only 20 minutes from the centre by the tram. - Friendly and helpful staff. BAD - Despite calling themselves a sustainable hotel, the cleaners replaced all towels every day even if none of them were on the floor. On the other hand, they didn't clean the mugs, glasses, and spoons. They also kept moving my stuff around making it difficult to find. - The shower has no door, so water is splashing all around and flooding the floor. The bathroom itself has only sliding glass door which doesn't provide much privacy. - The only option for breakfast is a full buffet which is €20 per person and has to be booked in advance. - There is no fridge in the room, which is supposed to be sustainable, but it made our trip more difficult.
This hotel was great. Rooms were clean and well decorated. The hotel was beautiful as well as the outside of it and surrounding area. It’s about 20 minutes on the tram to the centre which isn’t bad at all. Means by the end of your busy city day, you can come back and relax in a more peaceful area. Our room was also nicely decorated upon arrival.
Pros: Wonderful, spacious room with modern “loft” feelingand great view. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. We appreciated that there was individually managed AC in the room. Located close to tram stations, it is was easy to navigate into the city centre. Cons: The entrance to the parking garage was very tight, even for a regular size car. The only negative thing about the room was that the door to the bathroom was right next to the bed and the door to the bathroom wasn’t so much a door as a glass plate with large holes on the sides. Thus, privacy was non-existent. Also, it would have been nice with a few more vegan options at breakfast.
I had quite a bad experience in this hotel. Good things: - The rooftop bar is nice Bad things: - the ac was not working. Just a loud fan. Yes, I know that the windows need to be closed for it to work - wifi wasn't working - mosquitos all over because cleaner or previous guest left windows open. We couldn't change room because apparently all the rooms are like that. They didn't offer to vacuum them away - shower with a touchscreen. Really unnecessary - shower was leaking when off. Even hours after the shower it was noisy during the night - Italian shower without proper space. No door so the water was spreading all over the place - the sink is designed with beauty over function. The handle interferes with the basin -the bathroom light is motion-activated. This in conjunction with the obfuscated glass door makes so that the partner is flash-banged every time one person goes to the bathroom during the night - stained towels - dirty toothbrush glasses - they offer a TETRAPACK bottle of water. For a place that should be eco-friendly this is gross oversight. Tetrapak is not easily recyclable. I wouldn't have mind a normal plastic bottle. Again, design over function because the bottle is fancy I guess
