Very nice hotel. Comfortable well appointed rooms. Morning breakfast has a great variety and was very good. The hotel is attached to a mall that has an Albert Hein grocery store that was convenient for picking up snacks and beer & wine for the room.

My family and I stayed here for three nights holiday. It’s outside the core of Amsterdam, but only a 15 minute walk to the Zuid Metro Station. Trains come every six minutes and it’s a short trip (~10 mins) to get to the centre of the city. Breakfast is included for all guests and offers a decent selection of foods. Staff and the breakfast restaurant were very friendly and welcoming. There are three washing machines and three dryers within the hotel, which was very convenient. Pay by credit card per wash and the detergent is supplied within the machines. Only complaint is that the dryers do not work very well. We ended up hanging much of our clothes even after being in the dryer for a few hours. Kitchen facilities within the suite were adequate. There’s two induction burners with two pots and a pan. Salt and pepper supplied in the cabinet along with four sets of cutlery, bowls, plates and glasses. There’s a Jumbo grocery store in the same complex as the hotel which had a variety of different foods to choose from. Would stay at this hotel again.
We had a wonderful stay at Element. The room had everything we needed, and was very comfortable— and the pet friendly aspect makes it a big bonus for us! Parking was easy, either in the garage (P1) or street parking. Easy travel into the city centre by tram or metro. Breakfast was plentiful and Gaby and the breakfast team were very extremely friendly and helpful. Thank you for a lovely stay!
What many people don’t notice about Element Amsterdam is how practical the rooms are for longer stays. The small kitchen, extra space, and quiet atmosphere make it feel more like a comfortable apartment than a standard hotel room. The location inside the shopping center is also surprisingly convenient you can easily pick up groceries, essentials, or a quick meal without having to travel across the city. The staff were friendly, the rooms were very clean, and despite being in Amsterdam, the hotel felt calm and relaxing after a busy day.
After a very long flight being completely worn out there is little better than to be greeted with a sincere how are you and hearing our tone, he (the manager?) immediately brought us 2 coffees. We arrived early and expected to only have our bags held but while finishing our coffee they had a room cleaned for us. That is service. They gave is a yummy stroopwaffle too. The only complaint that I had was something in the room and in the dining area triggered my nose to sneeze and run. Each time the ventilation turned on. When we turned it off in the room I was fine. I loved the fully stocked kitchen even though we didn’t use it on this trip it was nice to have a knife to cut our Gouda and real glassware. I rented a bike for the day. I only wish I could have it for more than just till 10pm. Location is a bit of a ride to get to central. About 18€ in a Bolt. Or a few options on public transport. It is Close to the Rai and Zuid train stations.
