We had a wonderful stay at this hotel in Amsterdam. The hotel was beautiful, the service was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We especially loved the hot chocolate — it was amazing! The bed was also extremely comfortable, which made our stay even more relaxing. Overall, we had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to others!
I highly recommend this hotel! It is beautifully located in a park, with an amazing view, while still being conveniently close to the city centre. The service was simply outstanding, from check-in all the way through to check-out. A special thank you to Christina Perles, Front Office Manager, for her incredible service. I absolutely loved the curtains in my room and asked if she could find out the brand. She remembered my request, found the information, and a few days later emailed me the brand, the exact type, and even the colour name. This is truly the kind of thoughtful and personal service that deserves recognition and feels like the standard of the very best hotels.
We asked for a late checkout, but it wasn't confirmed, and I continued to get automated offers to purchase one. Probably a system glitch. The room was spacious, clean, and quiet. The AC worked great, and the bed and pillows were very comfortable, so I slept well. A charming detail was the binoculars left in the room for bird watching. There’s a faint train sound in the background, but it didn't bother me. Noise from neighbors and the hallway was minimal. The bathroom was just okay. The water-saving showerhead wasn't very pleasant, and the hairdryer was awkwardly designed. Toiletries are great. Housekeeping knocked on my door around 10:00 AM on the last day, which was surprising since I assumed they tracked who had actually checked out. All together, I think there are some quick wins. I would consider staying here again.
We had a very comfortable stay at the hotel. It would have been good if there was a bed side light for the single bed too. The bed side lights were good but quite hard to position for reading. The shower and bathroom were very good. Despite us leaving towels hung up they were replaced some days. Overall the hotel was ideally located and very comfortable
Rooms were fairly good but lacked some basics like tissues and a place to open your suitcase properly. Location is fabulous during the day and close to much of Amsterdam's main attractions. Westerpark is a vibrant venue with lots of families and restaurants. Has a great vibe. Loud music plays at the local nightclub until 4am most nights making it impossible to sleep. Service was not consistent. If you ask for directions or advice they google a response, which we were already doing. Check in was self directed on an ipad and taxes were steep. I'd recommend it.
