This was my second 2 night stay at the Amsterdam Marriott, one in July and one in August. I travel extensively through Europe and this summer especially I have experienced a wide variety of air conditioning. On both of my stays at this property I had no issue with the air conditioning. The second stay especially we loved as the room was extremely cool. This property is older. The rooms have been modernized and are for the most part clean and smell clean. The lounge is great if you have access. Great variety of food and drinks. We dined at the hotel bar as well and had excellent service. The front desk staff as well have been delightful. We like the location as it is a bit out of the city and near the museums but easy to access the canals etc.
Our stay at the Marriott Amsterdam was nothing short of exceptional. From Guest Services and Housekeeping to the M Club Lounge, we truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a warmer welcome on our first stop in Europe. Amsterdam set the tone for our entire vacation, and this hotel played a huge role in that. Its location was perfect, with tram stations right outside the hotel, making it incredibly easy to explore the city. What stood out most was the staff. Everyone greeted us with a smile and seemed genuinely happy to help, creating an atmosphere that made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The M Club Lounge deserves a review of its own. There was truly something for everyone, and the quality of the food and beverages was noticeably better than what we have experienced at other lounges. It was an outstanding perk that made an already wonderful stay even more memorable. We would not dream of staying anywhere else on our next visit to Amsterdam. Highly recommended!
Had a wonderful stay at Amsterdam Marriott Hotel. The location is outstanding—right next to Leidseplein and within walking distance of many of Amsterdam’s top attractions, museums, restaurants, and shopping streets. It made exploring the city incredibly convenient. The breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of fresh and high-quality options to suit different tastes. Everything was well prepared, and the staff kept the buffet well stocked throughout the morning. What truly made the stay memorable was the service. The staff were warm, professional, and always willing to help with a smile. From check-in to check-out, the entire experience was smooth and welcoming. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Amsterdam and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable hotel in a fantastic location.
Great stay overall. The location is convenient enough and makes it easy to explore Amsterdam on foot or by public transport. The staff were friendly, professional, and always willing to help. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and we especially appreciated the thoughtful touches, including the gifts left for guests. The lounge was another highlight, offering a comfortable space to relax after a day of sightseeing. While there is always room for improvement, this was a very enjoyable stay and I would happily return.
