Petra Wadi Rum Overnight Visiting Dead Sea For 3hours

After finishing the conference on September 5, we (team of 9 people) from Eventell went to Petra. Mr Samaadi was our driver, guide and man of great wisdom. We learnt through him a lot about people of Jordan, its neighbours, life of common people, and their aspirations. Travel is a great teacher. Certainly, road trip from dead sea to petra was a great learning experience to be followed by an outstanding immersion into awesome Petra.

The trip from Amman to the Dead Sea, Petra an Wadi Rum was very well organised and performed by the driver Hamdi. He is very concentrated and patient. He takes care for his guests and helps wherever he can. We fully recomend Hamdi Alkhawaja.

Very very impressed My driver was Ahmed and I couldn't have got better. The guy knew it all, listened to what I wanted and was a pro. He was in touch before I even made it to the country and super professional. Told him I wanted good food; no problems, asked him to wait or pull over, done! The details-Honestly I probably didn't have enough cash in my pocket and some places don't take card, so bring some coin and account for some more expensive stops...not madly expansive, but jd disappear quickly. Note that you need accom at wadi rum, dinner etc. Things like Petra entry, guide are expensive (worth it) but just be aware. Honestly, regret not booking a longer trip, and I'll come back. I'll request Ahmed and know I'll be looked after.

I’ve been in Jordan for 4days without specific plan. And I just booked this tour only. But my driver tareq arranged my other activities and tours even after this tour. Also he shared the history of islamic and local culture as well. He is absolutly knowledgeable and kind. Nabil was my driver and he picked me up at my hotel in Amman. He was very polite and did not force me to go to stores or particular activities as other drivers do. We visited Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea. I also took another activity for an extra charge. Definitely worth it if you’re on a tight schedule!

While our driver was safe and prompt and the car was comfortable, I believe the driver makes the trip. Our driver Mohammed rarely spoke more than a few words to us (and usually only when asked a direct question). He would simply drive us from one site to another without giving us any information along the way. He seemed totally disinterested in offering us anything more than driving. It was a disappointment.

I had an excellent tour with my guide Odai. He was generous with his time and his knowledge about the country, he truly work as a private tour guide from his heart. I truly recommend him and the Jordan private compagnie for your next trip in Jordan!

Best driver in Jordan! We had an absolutely exceptional trip with Adnan. He took us to Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea. Really knowledgeable and friendly guy with a lot of local insights and recommendations for places to eat/supermarkets to get cheap water and snacks, very comfy and air-conditioned car - perfect for 2 people, started from directly outside our hostel, took us direct to the airport; he also stopped a few times to give us some of the best vantage points for some lovely views over Jordan - could not recommend enough!

Our driver was Mohammad Abu Sa'ad. We stayed in Jordan for only 2.5 days with the goal of seeing Petra, Wadi Rum, and the Dead Sea. I would recommend anyone wanting to see these three sites to arrange it through Retaj Car Services and Mohammad. The reason is because the only difference between this tour and other tours is that you have to book your own accomodations at Wadi Rum, but the cost is half to two-thirds the cost of other tours. If you read closely you'll see that other tours also state that Petra (+ local guide), Wadi Rum, and Dead Sea Entrance Fees are not included. This appears to be the norm across tours. We were able to use the money we saved to change our camp at Wadi Rum from the pre-arranged Al Sultana Camp, quoted to us by another service, to a Martian Dome at Memories Aicha Luxury Camp (side note I highly recommend the Martian Dome and this camp). Mohammad was also a great source of comfort on our tour. My family and I don't speak Arabic and Mohammad helped us interact with locals. This allowed us to interact with a farmer on the side of road and his goats, get an upgraded lunch at the Crowne Plaza Dead Sea Resort (you can choose a different resort if you want to), because the original restaurant was closed for Ramadan, and not get scammed out of 15 dinars at Wadi Rum by insisting on receipt for the entrance fee. The employee at the gate said we didn't need one, Mohammad insisted, and this was a good idea because later on another employee asked us to pay the entrance fee. The car is a large comfortable sedan with leather interior and A/C. Even when the car had an issue one time, another driver met up with Mohammad, and switched cars, at no delay to us. Mohammad provided an explanation of different aspects about Jordan as we drove. Overall, the trip was amazing value, for three people I believe we saved several hundred dollars. I would recommend to anyone to book this tour/car service and book your own accomodation at Wadi Rum. Luay is the manager I spoke to at Retaj Car Services and very responsive. The cost of the Petra Entrance Fee and Wadi Rum entrance fees are 50 and 5 dinars per person respectively. The Petra Entrance Fee can be paid by credit card but the Wadi Rum fee needed to be paid in cash. The entrance fee for the Dead Sea resort varies based on which one you want to go to. Lastly, I would add to also tip the driver, in this case Mohammad well. Mohammad picked us up at 6 am, drove 3 hours to Petra, and waited for us to finish. You have unlimited time in Petra because the driver is waiting to drive you to Wadi Rum. We spent 4-5 hours in Petra to see both the Treasury and the Monastery. The drive from Petra to Wadi Rum is another several hours and the driver stays overnight near Wadi Rum to pick you up in the morning because the drive to the Dead Sea is another 3-4 hours. We ended our tour with Mohammad dropping us directly at the airport at no additional cost. Other tours were quoting $50 USD for airport drop off. This allowed us to end our time in Jordan and go directly to Cairo, Egypt that night.

Shadi mad a scheduled for me to seen as many major sites as possibly while I visited Amman Jordan. My driver Jacob, was an amazingly safe driver. Jacob made sure my experience was memorable, very knowledgeable of different sights, made sure I experienced authentic food, shopping, Turkish coffee and he waited patiently while I went to visit each site. I did not realize how much driving was involved until the actually drive. The employees are very warm hearted, carrying, trustworthy, compassionate works well with guests. We had Mohamed as our driver who was attentive and friendly throughout the two days. We were well looked after and he helped us to arrange aspects of the tour. My only complaint is that it appeared to me that the camping aspect was included in the tour. It was not. Luckily Mohamed was helpful in organising a place to stay. The car was well-resourced and comfortable. The journey around Jordan was excellent.

We had a great two days. Our car of the company Retaj was up to expectations always on time and with its driver Muhannad Salòim available to meet our every request. On the first day we visited Petra stopping to visit a medieval castle and the Moses Fountain at the entrance of Petra. The visit started at 11am and ended at 3.30pm during which we visited the entire archaeological park except the Monastery. After about an hour drive we reached Wadu Rum. During our trip we witnessed first a sandstorm then a heavy rain and finally a magnificent rainbow always on the desert. Due to poor weather conditions our sunset Jeep ride was moved to dawn the next day. In the evening Bedouin dinner and then to bed immediately to get up at dawn. The jeep driver arrived around 6.40 von about 30 minutes late but despite this we could enjoy the colors in the desert morning. A wonderful experience. Back to breakfast and then off to the Dead Sea. At !3 we arrived at a beautiful hotel next to the entrance to the Jordan River where after lunch we had a fabulous bath. Around 4pm we returned to Amman and thanks to Salin we were able to visit the Blue Mosque in its entirety. They were two intensive days that allowed us to visit several key places of culture and beauty of Jordan.

The tour was thoughtful, with comfortable luxury car transfers, on-time pickup, time adjustments to suit our needs, and constant phone contact. The guide in charge was Mohammad Abu saad from Retage car rental and limo service. His English was difficult for me, as I was not very good at English, but my daughter was a beginner in Arabic, so it was a journey that included conversations in Arabic. They would pull over and show us if there were any unusual animals, and take us to many great spots. However, I am not satisfied that they somehow ignored our wishes and went to the Dead Sea via Aqaba. If you hadn't gone through Aqaba, you would have arrived in the Dead Sea earlier and enjoyed it for a long time. Maybe you got a margin by taking tourists to Aqaba? I thought so. I also wanted to go if I had time, but they strongly recommended that I take him to a factory that makes Dead Sea mud packs. I'm not sure if this was also to get margins. I grumbled a little bit, but safety is guaranteed and I think it's good to choose this tour.

We booked the chauffeured tour from Amman to Petra, Wadi Rum and the Dead Sea. Our driver, Emad, was on time at the hotel to pick us up. He drove well and cautiously. That was nice. I recommend this driver.
