Itinerary
Start your day trip with a pickup from your Amman hotel and meet your private driver for the day, who is knowledgeable about the area and its history and is able to point out sites of interest along the way. The first stop will be at Madaba city, known as the ‘City of Mosaics.’ Madaba owes its popularity to a lavish mosaic map of the Holy Land that covers the floor of St George’s Church. Head inside the church to see it and learn about its history as well as the town’s other ancient biblical sites from a local guide.
The St. John the Baptist Roman Catholic Church in Madaba, Jordan, is a hidden gem waiting to be discovered! While not as widely known as some of the city's iconic sites like the Church of St. George, this charming church offers a unique blend of history, religious significance, & architectural beauty. Historical Gem: Built in the 19th century, the church stands as a testament to Jordan's rich Christian heritage. Its elegant stone façade & stained glass windows whisper stories of devotion & faith across generations. Architectural Intrigue: The church's design blends Western & Eastern influences, showcasing a graceful mixture of Romanesque & Byzantine architectural styles. Take in the delicate arches, the intricate detailing around the entrance, & the peaceful courtyard adorned with greenery. Religious Significance: Dedicated to St. John the Baptist, a pivotal figure in both Christianity & Islam, the church offers a space for quiet contemplation & prayer for visitors of all faiths
Keep exploring to Mount Nebo, the hill where Prophet Moses was believed to have been given a glimpse of the Promised Land before his passing. Enjoy the stunning views of the Jordan Valley, explore the historic lands of Judah and Jericho, and step inside the Franciscan monastery. This peaceful site, built on the spot of the ancient church of Mount Nebo, offers fascinating relics and beautiful mosaics to discover.
After a buffet lunch at the Dead Sea Hotel (included in the price), you have a chance to relax. There are few places better to do so than at the lowest point on Earth: the Dead Sea. Considered one of the world’s true natural wonders, the impressive body of water is fed by a collection of incoming rivers that gush to its landlocked shores. The waters are unable to flow elsewhere, so they evaporate and leave behind a rich concentration of natural salt that attributes to the Dead Sea’s famous buoyancy. Relax at one of the beaches, or upgrade and spend your free time at the Dead Sea tourist beach rest house. Bob around in the Dead Sea’s salty water, perhaps reading a newspaper as you recline on the surface. How you spend your time at either site is up to you; remember to bring your bathing suit, a towel, and sunscreen. Then, relax during the return trip to Amman.

A fantastic day trip. Moe was so informative, I learnt so much about the history behind the places we went to. He was friendly and easy to talk to about many things. Great guide. Would not hesitate to recommend him.
Mr. Mint was a great driver. He sincerely knows his stuff and acquainted me with Jordanian culture. Each visit was unique and provided a different glimpse of history. A beautiful day combined with Mr. Mint’s good company makes this trip a 5 star!
Mister Mint was a great driver! I visited all the sites and he was perfectly on time dispite the fact that it was raining thank you again
This was a wonderful tour from Amman to the edge of the Holy land in the Jordan Valley. This tour takes you to major biblical historic sites in Jordan. The baptismal site of Jesus, the Jordan River, the Jordan Valley, and the Dead Sea. You are just across the river from Jericho. Simply amazing. Our tour guide was Bardaghawi, and he was outstanding! So friendly and welcoming! He was so helpful in providing information on the sites we visited as well as general historical information. I definitely recommend him and this company for all your tours while visiting Jordan. The absolute best!
Great trip with Muhammad. Picked up right on time with waters in the car and he loaded our luggage since we went right to the airport at the end of the tour. He took us to some very interesting churches, helped us negotiate better prices with vendors/shops when we were getting snacks and desserts and was a great companion for the day. We started and ended exactly on time and I was really happy to have him as our driver/guide/advocate for the day. He was willing to customize too as we had a few special requests that he worked around. Flexible, friendly and a great driver!
Great tour and private! Driver was on time for pick up. I had Yones as my driver, he was nice and very helpful with anything that I needed! Mount Nebo was a highlight and the food from the lunch buffet was more than enough and delicious! The Dead Sea is an experience which hope to do again. I highly recommend this tour. Manager Mohammad texting me the night before giving me all the details for the next day. Glad I booked.
Incredible tour. Getting to stand where Moses stood was so uplifting. It's really inspiring, even if you aren't particularly religious. Mr. Mint was an excellent driver and guide, he did a great job explaining everything. Highly recommend this tour and his service.
Hosam with R&H was a great driver. He also shared some info along the way. The best part was of course the Dead Sea but the walk under the St John’s church was pretty cool and the bell tower The Dead Sea is a different experience and the food provided by the Crowne plaza was good. It is a buffet and the facilities there are spot on and they even have the mud that you can put on urself Had a great time
Yones was our driver again for this tour and his service was exceptional. He was well prepared for the trip with additional insight, facts and the history of the locations. Madaba the mosaic city is breathtaking. The superior craftsmanship is amazing. The drive to the Dead Sea was amazing as you are able to see the transitioning landscapes. Along with the historic points which Yones added it made for a great trip. The Dead Sea experience was overall great.
Mahmoud our driver looked after us excellently from start to finish, sorting out all our tickets and showing us where to go at each venue. We had an unexpected bonus stop en route to learn how mosaics are made and another to photograph some camels by the roadside. Floating in the Dead Sea was a surreal and enjoyable experience and the lunch buffet was high quality, especially the puddings and sweets.
The day spent in Madaba, Mount Nebo and the Dead Sea was one of sheer appreciation for the local art of mosaic making, one of humbleness and one of laughter as we covered ourselves in mud in the dead sea. The tour is an excellent one and includes visits to some of the most remarkable parts of Jordan! The buffet lunch and time spent in the Dead Sea was also incredible. Thank you to our awesome guide, Mr. Mint, who took care of us so well during the trip!
Very good trip to the mosaics in Madaba, to lovely Mount Nebo and to the hotel on the Dead Sea for mud on the kin and a bath in the waters, followed by lunch. Ramzi, the guide was amazing!
Wonderful tour, expert guide , I would highly recommend , This really was quite an experience , Mount Nebo was incredible .
We got a very nice and great tour guide whose name is Sameer. He not only became our friend but got very personal with him like a brother. The tour is excellent with the food and the place we stayed for a day at the Dead Sea. It's a great itinerary!
It was a wonderful and just incredible experience. Mt Nebo was amazing and swimming in Dead Sea was awesome and inch at hotel was excellent. Muhammad my guide/driver was just excellent. Very friendly and he really took care of me nicely.. Great guy!! I recommend everyone do this tour and do it with Muhammad.😀
Unfortunately this expensive tour did not deliver. The whole tour lasted 2 hours only, including journey time. From the details given I expected to see Mount Nebo, but the deliver only pointed it from a distance. Also the 'trip to the dead sea' was only a rushed 30 minutes visit to a hotel. We did not get spend anywhere near enough time. To pay £100 for 2 hours of rushed driving is a rip off. We were told by the locals we could have spent a whole day trip to the dead sea for a third of the price. Very disappointed, and would like to discuss a refund.
He was prompt informed and very well mannered. Would be happy to have him accomplish me on another tour
I would never recommend this company. They advertised lunch at the Sohum Dead Sea spa and resort at Crowne plaza. They took me to a dump called Dead Sea resort. Of course the driver claimed he knew nothing because of course he is just a driver. The entire outing was unprofessional and definitely not worth $188.00 USD. The driver was late, spoke and texted while driving. He was not knowledgeable about the history of the areas. He was more concerned about where I should buy products/items from and his review. I was not advised to bring a towel, as it was not under the what’s excluded section. The driver told me there were towels down near the beach. The hotel staff was more interested in talking to each other than providing service. The food at the buffet was salty and unappealing. The lunch did not include water or any beverage at all. Overall a terrible experience and waste of nearly $200.00. The customer service was not helpful and told me that the Sohum Dead Sea spa was only with availability which was not stated in the advertisement. They were unwilling to refund me partially or fully and changed the website from Sohum to Dead Sea region once I called to complain about my experience and concerns. Save your money and go with a better tour. This one was simply awful.
Mt. Nebo. The memorial church of Moses. Our driver, Beder, seemed to have good insight about the sites. Good driver.
Good driver concerned that we were enjoying our visit. Explained things along the way. Interesting places to visit and the Dead Sea is great fun
Was good only thing was not very good was the guild called us at 01:00am in the morning to confirmed the trip which supposed start at 09:00 and told us the trip started at 10:15 instead

A lot of history is in the area. Our tour was suppose to be private but wasn't, so this needs to be clear and priced accordingly. The view is awesome at Mt. Nebo.

The tour was absolutely amazing! The driver was very attentive and kept me entertained the entire trip.

Adnánk volt a kísérőnk. Türelmes volt, minden kérdésünkre választ adott. Jól vezetett. Jó hotelt választott a fürdőzéshez.
I booked the excursion the day before and was immediately contacted by the agency and then by the very professional and friendly Adnan guide, beautiful experience from the churches of madaba to Mount Nebo, then to the baptisium place and finally to relax at the dead sea with an endless buffet lunch, Adnan was always available and explained everything in detail. Recommended.
We had an experience simply score 1000 with guide Muhammad Ali! He took us to the Citadel, Madaba to see the Church of St. George, we climbed Mount Nebo and we also visited the Jordan River. Always anticipated, super organized, brought drinks in the car for our comfort and made every stop a special moment. Highly recommended!
Nice driver, super nice and welcoming, going to the stages, told us some anecdotes of the place, he also helped us successfully find a handbag that my mother-in-law had lost. Beautiful experience, recommend to everyone.
To see for this symbolic place of history pity view misty enough to admire landscape and Jordan. Interesting mosaics.
The first time we arrived it was raining, so we had to give up, then we returned after a couple of days, and I must say being in that magical place in that landscape really excited me-
Mount Nebo is a very nice place with a stunning view. Would Verne have seen the original church lying there. The mosaics were beautiful and the area nice and well kept without a lot of garbage. Dead see - has it such that now I have been therewhat seen it and so it is. Madaba. I am not especially impressed with the mosaics in Madaba, but probably because I have seen fantastic mosaics in many places around the world.
