What an incredible day visiting Petra and Wadi Rum! Everything was excellent from beginning to end. Our driver, Hassan, was fantastic: punctual, friendly, and always making sure we were comfortable and on schedule. The transport was smooth and comfortable, the buffet food was delicious, and every stop was perfectly planned so we could truly enjoy each place. Walking through Petra and then watching the landscapes of Wadi Rum in the same day felt unreal.

MAHMOUD ALKHAWAJA was a great and friendly guide, and the trip was great. He referred us to a local guide when we arrived at Petra, who we paid to tell us about the site and show us the best parts. I didn't realize this wasn't included, but it was important to have to local guide at Petra. Wadi Rum was really neat and the jeep ride (which was actually a truck bed ride) was exhilarating, a little dangerous but very very fun and beautiful. My only suggestion would be to find time for lunch, as there was no chance to eat from breakfast until about 4:30pm. So, people should bring something to eat or the tour operator could plan for time for guests to eat. We were all very hungry. I was glad I booked this trip and would absolutely do it again. If you have time, book a longer trip with this same tour operator.

Excellent day trip to Petra and Wadi Rum. I was a bit apprehensive at first because I'm travelling solo and though I'd be amongst a group of couples and families. This was a small group tour consisting of four other solo travellers, Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our driver for the day Mahmoud Alkhawaja was great - super knowledgeable and an expert at driving long distances. It was a very long day of over 14 hours leaving my hotel at 05:30 and returning after 19:30; with three hours in the ancient city of Petra and around 70 minutes on the Wadi Rum desert jeep tour. A long day - yes. Exhausting at times - yes; especially walking through Petra in the 32C heat; but it was all totally worth it. The trip was well-paced and overall was a very enjoyable day when I made great memories and have some remarkable photos. Recommended!
Must Book this Tour!!!! It’s a perfect way to see both Petra and Wadi Rum!! Everything was magnificent just immersing myself in the ancient rock carved capital of Petra and exploring some of the sights was Amazing. Also the Wadi rum off roading jeep adventure was thrilling! Definitely ask for Zeyad. He was my driver and was so warm and kind and answered all my questions and gave great recommendations as well. Also, def request Qusey as your Wadi Rum guide. I asked for an adrenaline ride and Qusey def gave me an awesome ride. He’s funny and charasmatic and takes great pics! He’s proud of his Bedouin heritage as well. Our day tour to Petra and Wadi Rum with Saada from Jordan Landmark Tours was absolutely fabulous from start to finish!!! He made my two daughters and I from the USA feel so comfortable and safe. We rode in a very nice, air conditioned car, and he had free water bottles to give us throughout the day. Plus he would stop whenever we 3 girls needed a restroom break. We have had many tours in other countries throughout the World, and Saada was so personable and his English is so very good! If we ever came back to Amman we would definitely have him as our driver again as he was one of the best drivers safety wise we have ever had! He is so knowledgeable in regard to Jordan’s history and everyday living questions, and we had many questions, and all he answered honestly and so we would comprehend. We came to Jordan for 2 days and one day spent with Anees as our tour guide to Petra and Wadi Rum. He arrived to pick us up from our hotel on time. I joined the Petra and Wadi Rum jeep tour as part of a group option, but due to fewer tourists at the time, our booking was generously upgraded to a private tour at no extra cost. This made the experience feel much more personalized from the start. Our driver, Safwat, picked us up early in the morning and immediately set a welcoming tone for the day. He was friendly, attentive, and thoughtful throughout—providing drinks, sharing useful information, and making sure we were comfortable during the journey. We began with Petra, entering with our Jordan Pass. Although we had the option to book a guide through the tour company, we chose to explore independently. We spent about three hours there, visiting key highlights like the Treasury. While we didn’t make it to the Monastery, this was expected given how much time we spent enjoying the Treasury and taking photos, along with the tight schedule for the day. One tip: bring some cash in JOD, as certain viewpoints within Petra require separate cash payments not covered by the Jordan Pass. After Petra, Safwat picked us up promptly and we continued on to Wadi Rum. The drive itself was scenic, with several beautiful stops along the way. Upon arrival, we met our jeep tour guide, Qusai, who truly elevated the experience. He took us to multiple stunning locations, helped us capture great photos, and shared insights about the history and present-day life in Wadi Rum. Thanks to Qusai’s friendliness and enthusiasm, Wadi Rum ended up being our favorite part of the trip—even after being amazed by Petra earlier in the day. After the jeep tour, Safwat drove us back to Amman, wrapping up a long but incredibly rewarding day. Overall, this tour exceeded my expectations and gave me a deep appreciation for Jordan’s natural beauty. I only wish I had more time to explore other places like the Dead Sea. I would absolutely choose this company and these guides again without hesitation.
Hassan was my guide/driver. The car was clean and had outlets in the front and back seats. Hassan had wifi available, had bottled water for us and made sure we had bathroom stops. Prepare for miles of walking at Petra. During the jeep ride at Wadi Rum you make several stops for photos. There were bathroom srops along the way. This is a very long day but it is absolutely worth it.
Petra is a gem and worth every penny. We almost cancelled the excursion with everything going on but decided to go since we flew all of this way. Our guide promptly picked us up at 7am. The drive takes about 2.5-3 hours. He stopped half way there for a toilet break and snacks. When you arrive at Petra there is a visitor center. We chose to walk which took approximately 30 minutes downhill. It was a little chilly walking through the caves but very scenic. Then it opens to Petra like the movies. Not many people were there when we got there at 10am. You can takes pictures with the camels or chose to take a hike up to look down on it for a fee ($10-$15 JD). We stayed for about 2 hours which was plenty and paid $30 JD to take a ride in a golf cart back to the visitor center. Highly recommend this tour.

We recently went on the tour to Petra and Wadi Rum, which took us to Petra followed by Wadi Rum. Overall this was by far the highlight of our trip, we got to see some phenomenal sights, and this trip is definitely a must go- the Jordan experience is not complete without this! The views and experience is truly unique and the moments are unforgettable. Fitting in Petra and Wadi Rum in a day was absolutely perfect as we felt we got the full experience- seeing the Treasury upfront in Petra is not an experience to be missed, and we had a fantastic time on the Jeep safari tour in the desert of Wadi Rum. All in all great fun with excellent view points!! Warning- make sure to have enough camera storage space for all the photos / videos! We seriously we were not expecting to take the thousands of beautiful photos and videos that we took, not to add the extremely talented guides at Petra whose video taking skills are unmatched! From a tour operator service perspective, we were well looked after by our tour guide Ali who drove safely, managing time well and made sure we had sufficient toilet breaks and opportunities to eat given the long travel time. However, from a tour service perspective, given such an expensive price point for the tour, we were slightly disappointed as we would have expected more. As a primary example, everywhere we went to visit, we were expected to queue individually and pay separately for the entrance tickets. This took up quite a bit of our time, e.g. on arrival to the destination we would first need to run to the toilets (the drive was very long!) and then run to join the queue to buy tickets, which ate into a good 20 minutes of the precious 3 hours we were given. Likewise, for meals or breakfast coffee, this wasn’t included in our tour price and we were expected to queue individually and pay each time. We have never encountered this on any of our other tours. On our other tours, where we had been taken for food or drink, this was all included in the tour price, and where not, the tour guide would buy the tickets for us at the desk so we did not need to worry about sprinting ahead of other tourists to join the queue whilst being desperate for the toilet after such a long journey. Additionally, given the high price point, we would have expected basics such as water to be provided. We had this on all of our other tours but not this one. There were plenty of places to buy bottled water wherever we stopped, but just a stark contrast to our experience on other tours. All in all, given the price point I am a little disappointed in the tour service as more could be done to highlight what was not included in the package, as on top of the tour price we still ended up spending at least a hundred dinahs extra, buying entry tickets, paying for additional access to the best viewing platform of the treasury (a must do in my opinion though!), camel photos etc. Nonetheless, this was a totally breathtaking experience, and though we left with empty pockets, we are rich from the phenomenal experience.
No wonder, Petra is the new wonder of the world. The view is awesome and truely a place not to be missed when visiting Egypt. Will highly recommend to my friends and relatives.

We had such a great time. If you are lucky you will have Anees as your tour guide. He was waiting for us in the hotel lobby and from that point on we were treated like family. He is full of knowledge of this beautiful country and especially the area of Petra. We never toured Wadi Rum so I have no comment on that area. Petra is stunning and Anees made it even better.

The other person on the tour quickly became a friend, and we both had such a great time. We started the day early with a smooth drive to Petra. When we arrived, it felt like stepping into a dream! The site was less crowded than I expected, and the anticipation leading up to the first view of the Treasury was magical. Petra truly lives up to the hype and more. I’ll never forget that feeling of awe. Next, we headed to Wadi Rum. Wow! This place is like being on another planet. The vast desert landscapes are just breathtaking. We even had the chance to meet and share tea with some Bedouins, which was a unique and memorable experience. The entire desert was picture-perfect and felt surreal. After all the sightseeing, we ended the day with a delicious buffet dinner. The entire tour was so well-organized, and our guide made sure we were comfortable and happy throughout the day. I also really appreciated how he patiently waited while we explored the sites. Big props to him for driving all the way from Amman to Petra and Wadi Rum. It’s a long drive, and he made it seem effortless. He truly went above and beyond to make sure we had an unforgettable day. An absolute outstanding day: the famous ruins and tombs of Petra with the added bonus of a slot canyon and amazing sandstone rocks scattered throughout a sandy desert. Our driver Mahmoud Alkhawaja took very good care of us, making sure we would not fall into one of the many tourist traps at Petra (and yes people tried). On the way back from Wadi Rum he suggested to try the buffet at Midway Castle which turned out to be excellent. We had 3 hours in total in Petra. Since I am a quick walker this was enough time to get up to the Great Temple, th byzantine church, and the Royal Tombs. If you prefer a more relaxed style, then you could still try to get up to the theatre, or the tombs. Clearly the jeep ride can be shaky, still we made 4 photo stops, so you will find the opportunity to take a couple of good shots.
