It was a very good experience to see the different sights. We went to the Citadel, Roman Forum, the mosque and we were able to go to Habiba. We tasted the best kunafa. Thanks to our driver, Bader. He is a very good driver. I will recommend this tour.

The blue-domed King Abdullah I Mosque, built in the 1980s by the late King Hussein as a memorial to his grandfather, is open to Non-Muslim visitors. The nave with an area of 1,615 m2 has the capacity to house 3,000 worshippers. It is octogonal and distiguished for not having pillars inside. Its dome of 35 m in diameter has a height of 31 meters. A source of radiation was placed in the middle taking the form of a golden star culminating in the Ninety Nine Most Beautiful Names of Allah surrounding the dome's neck. The suspended chandelier of 168 lanterns consists of three circles with the Holy Quranic Verse with the word Allah recurring on every lantern. The fertile land is expressed in the form of a red carpet made of an ornamental textile of recurring patterns meant to direct worshippers toward the Kiblah. All the walls, including the Kiblah, the pulpit, and the Mihrab are panelled with wooden and marble oriels.
Jabal al-Qala is one of the seven mountains of Amman, which the Ammonians have long taken as the seat of their rule in the city, followed by Greece, romans and Byzantines who occupied the city respectively until it was occupied by the Islamic conquest in the 7th century AD, where the Umayyad Palace was built on its top. Mount Qalaa in Amman emerged as the capital of the Ammonians.
The Roman Amphitheatre is a Roman theater located in the eastern part of the Jordanian capital Amman, precisely at the foot of Mount Jufa on one of the hills opposite Amman Castle. Greek writing on one of the pillars indicates that this amphitheater was built in honor of Emperor Antonius Pius, who visited Amman in 130 AD.
Visit the old city center & AL-Husseini Mosque

This company waits until you can no longer cancel for free, to message you and add more charges with a "like it or lump it attitude." They said our hotel was outside of their pick up area and they wanted another 15JD. We got in to a debate about the timing of this demand, and they then suggested I get another taxi to their tour, saying my travel agency had given me a hotel in the "worst area of Amman to save money." However, they wouldn't help me find where the easiest place was for us to start either. Their tour is essentially just a taxi that waits for you, as it doesn't include a guide or entrance fees. I was trying to enjoy a guided tour at the time, with limited WIFI, so eventually agreed to pay the fee. They did not reply, nor did they send the driver the next day. When I complained to Viator, the tour operator said I had made "threatening remarks" making me sound awful. I had only said I wasn't going to give them a tip or a good review. I didn't get the refund or the tour and Viator didn't help me either. They just ask the company to refund and then just accept it if they refuse. Jordan is very safe, so please don't feel the need to book this tour. We got an uber to the Citadel for less than 5JD, then there were several taxi drivers outside offering waiting tours. We went to the ampitheatre, Jordan museum and mosque before returning to our hotel in the same taxi for 22JD including the tip. Even including the first fare, that was 50% less than this company wanted to charge, and this bad experience tainted the end of our holiday and left me £46 out of pocket too.
Good tour for forst time visitors
A very good day in Amman. The surprise for me was the car museum. It is brilliant. The robot coffee maker next door wss a bonus. The Jordan museum was excellent and the citadel and theatre were certainly worth the trip. Driver was skilful and looked after me well.
If you want to visit a lot of places in a day, this is the ticket. We were happy with our driver. Although he was not a tour guide, chatting with him gave us insight into life in Jordan. The sights we visited were interesting. If I were to do it again, I would visit all five sites. Even the Royal Automobile Museum was more interesting than I expected.
Our tour guide Yazan was superb and he looked after us from start to finish. He made sure we were hydrated and comfortable. He gave us a very good insight of Amman and had good knowledge of all the places we visited. He was very accomodating and would highly recommend the tour with Yazan.
We visited the following sites in this sequence:- Royal Automobile Museum Jordan Museum Roman Threatre Citadel King Abdullah II mosque It was a full day tour starting 1030am and finishing at 4.30pm. Our driver, Yaz, was an accomplished driver in Amman, very friendly, and fluent in English.
Perfect tour to see all amman and enjoy the cultural My driver Tareq was great and I highly recommended this tour
We booked the Amman Private City Tour during our stay in Jordan and it was a great way to explore the capital city in a short time. The tour lasted around 4–5 hours, which was a comfortable length to visit the main highlights of Amman without feeling rushed. We traveled comfortably between different locations and appreciated having a private guide who could explain the history and stories behind each place. The highlight for us was visiting the Amman Citadel, where we enjoyed amazing views over the city and learned more about Jordan’s ancient history. We also enjoyed seeing the Roman Theatre and discovering the contrast between Amman’s historical landmarks and modern neighborhoods. The private format made the experience more flexible. We could spend more time at places we were interested in, take photos, and ask questions along the way. The guide also shared useful recommendations for local food and other places to visit during our stay.
Great way to see the famous sites of the beautiful city of Amman So many ancient archaeological sites to see it was amazing
Worst company ever. The tour is basically is a driver that take you to that sights that you have to pay for, you could hire a taxi to take you around and it would be cheaper. The driver was excellent though, very nice and kind, his English was limited but he tried his best. The company wanted to charge me $100 euros to pick me up at the airport and I had booked this tour to be picked up at the airport, I asked when I booked and they said it was ok, but the wait until the day before to tell it’s a different price, make that make sense when they could have told me when I booked and paid, if they told me it’s a different price viator would send me a long to book the right price, anyways I told the company I could pay $30 that is the avarage for transfers from the airport to the city. The company said no, so I took a taxi from the airport for $20 Jordanian money. I was so disappointed with this company more than the actual tour
I spent a great day with my Driver Noor. He was very knowledgeable and helpful. The places that he took me to were very interesting. Honestly, it was Noor that made the day so great
The half day tour encompassed the Citadel, the Roman Theater, and the King Abdullah Mosque. Driver very nice but essentially a taxi cab.
I had a great trip this morning. My driver Bader was a top man and made the trip more enjoyable by giving me more information.
Awesome experience. Ramzi was fantastic from start to finish. He picked me at my hotel on time, was courteous and professional in every way DESPITE that I Booked this tour only a few hours beforehand
A great way to see the highlights with limited time. Our driver was really flexible. We were never rushed and had plenty of time to see everything as we wanted. He made certain we got to the entrances and that we knew what we were doing and where he would be waiting, which he was even if we were early. Great local knowledge. Felt really safe. Definitely recommend.
With the help of Jordan Lux tours & our driver ~Yousef Musleh, our trip was excellent & beyond expected. We highly recommend them for any Jordan tours.
Guide was on time, friendly and car was clean. Great way to get an overview of the top sites including Citadel, Roman theater and Blue Mosque.
The tour stops were excellent especially as I didn’t really have an interest in the automobile museum, but ended up enjoying it nonetheless. There was a downside at the blue-domed mosque shop as I made a purchase of some cosmetics, but found on opening the product expired this month. So really a 4.5 rating. Driver Mahommod was excellent and very patient waiting when we stayed longer at one stop.
We discovered we had a free day and decided last minute to have a half day tour of Amman. Our Driver was so helpful. Showed us the key historical sites, provided helpful background information and waited patiently for us as we toured the sites. He made for a fun filled day!!
This was a good city tour. We went to The Amman Citadel,Roman Theatre and King Abdullah Mosque. I found it expensive overall. £25 per adult for 3 site visits all in close proximity. Also, you have to pay entry fee for the Citadel and the Roman Theatre(2-3JD). Our Driver Rakan was the best. He was so kind and attentive to us. He was also helpful with carrying our buggy and helping us cross roads amongst busy traffic. He was always on hand looking out for us. Rakan is so good we used his services again for a trip to the Dead Sea.
Our driver was pleasant. Car was clean and comfortable. Although not a guide he provided some information. Very convenient way to visit the highlights of Amman. He also took us to a handicraft store, he asked first which I appreciated. The store had a excellent selection.
I had a 22-hour transit in Amman and wanted to make the most of it by exploring the city. I found this tour, and it turned out to be the perfect choice! In just a few hours, I was able to experience both the old and new parts of Amman. From historical landmarks and charming streets to modern neighborhoods, the tour covered a great mix of everything. The city itself has such a calm and welcoming atmosphere. I truly enjoyed walking through the quiet streets, learning about the history, and taking in the views. Even though the time was short, the tour was very well organized and made me feel like I really got to know Amman. Highly recommended for anyone with limited time who wants a meaningful experience in this beautiful city!
No ac in the car, wasnt taken to the whole tour because guide said the museums were closed, given yes he waited for us after we changed the time. The roman coloseum dropped us and said 20 min till closing. The mosque i would skip, during prayers you cant go in anyway. The citadel was great. I insisted the auto musuem would be open till.late he said no it was closed, and everything was different because if ramadan. I wish they would of informed us we could have changed the date. Basically an uber would of been better we paid $80 for nothing. Very disapointed with this tour.
Good tour overall though could be better managed from a time perspective. Recommend visiting the mosque first as it was closed when we arrived after 5pm. My driver Mohammad should have planned this better. Also recommend skipping the shop as the mosque has a shop as well.
Fantastic experience! 10/10 driver, really friendly and helpful! Took excellent care of us and was super friendly. Delighted we booked. If we could award more stars, we would have!
We had a great time, and the tour areas were excellent. Our driver was very nice. I gave it an average grade because it wasn't more than a taxi service. The driver spoke limited English and just dropped us off and waited for us at each site. I would like to have been given historical information about each site before visiting.
The driver was very professional and extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Took me to the 4 sites as listed and provided good background information on the sites and Jordan on general. Would definitely recommend
Seif was great! He helped me get around Amman and was so helpful. Even when we had to shift plans around because of events happening downtown, he knew exactly what to do. This is a great experience if you want the simple and easy way to get around amman and see the big major sights in the city.
I had an unexpected layover for 14 hours and the company was able to accommodate me and pick me up from the airport to start the tour. I definitely appreciate that. I highly recommend if you want a private driver to tour the city.
Full day experience which went at our pace, so as long or short at each stop as you needed. We hired a guide at the citadel which did enhance the tour. The other locations didn’t need a guide. Was amazed how much I loved the Royal Auto Museum as wasn’t expecting that to be a highlight. Great way to see some of the main sites of Amman in one go.
I had Ramzi as my driver, he did point out important things as we went along the tour. He did explain he wasn’t a tour guide. He said no rush so I didn’t feel under pressure however I did watch the time. Great day out to see the highlights thank you
Guide was extremely knowledgeable about the history and places in Amman. Great experience at the King Abdullah Mosque
From booking the tour a week before our trip to the day of full day city tour everything was easy to navigate. Our driver was fantastic and answered questions and gave us information about each location we visited. We were able to see a lot of the historical sites and museums worry free because of the clean car, friendly driver and being able to go at our own pace. Highly recommend booking through this company for your travels in Amman.
If you’re visiting Amman as a tourist, this is the way to go. In some cities you might be able to do it yourself, but not here. Or it would be very inconvenient, and likely more expensive. So glad we booked the tour. Our guide wasn’t particularly voluble, but good enough. Basically you’re getting the service of a private car and driver. You pay small entrance fees to some attractions and use your Jordan Pass for free entry to others. Find out about why the Jordan Pass is the best deal available if you’re planning a trip to Petra too. And also you wouldn’t want to try doing Petra on your own. We got a private car and driver deal for Petra from another company. There are cheaper ways to do it, but I’m glad we didn’t even try it.
Absolutely amazing day tour of Amman. Some reviews say that it's just a driver who doesn't talk, but my top man Tareq not only drove me around, he was giving so much interesting info about the city and sights. Ask for Tareq and you won't be disappointed.
Great introduction to the city and its sights. The driver was good and knowledgeable. The people of Amman were very friendly
Comfortable bus. Great guide, knowledgeable, very good explaining structures, very good in history. Excellent handling the group. Good balance between explanation and free time. Always in a good mood.
Be mindful, the car driver is not a tour guide that will go inside to each destination with you! Mohammed was excellent in providing quick tips to each stop. I enjoyed my alone time at each location and I loved the sweet treats! At some places I didn't see myself being there for too long so the timing with the tour can fluctuate. Great day spent overseeing Amman and is architectural sites!
Visit to the Citadel and Roman amphitheater. It’s basically a taxi service tour, and you’re lucky if you get a driver who speaks and understands English.
Our driver/guide Adnan was very pleasant, courteous and very generous, he treated us for Kanafe and helped us exchanged our US dollar toJordan Dinar because we forgot to bring our passport with us so he talked to the guy in-charged at the money exchange counter. Highly recommend of him. Excellent service. Definitely a keeper. He gave us all the time in the world to explore on our own and shown us different parts of city center and the like. Citadel was beautiful site, Coliseum was also nice. The Blue Mosque was a unique experience and entering the mosque reading some of the brochure was great. The gift shop below was very accommodating and tour us what items to buy and if we have questions, we should let them know. Over all experience was perfect at all. Thanks for the accommodations. Lito M.
if you have extra time in Jordan you must visit Amman with Creative, they have a great driver called Ahmad, he give our tour extra taste
Our tour in Jordan didn't include any city tour so we booked this one with Creative, and for sure you want to see Amman if you visited Jordan, specially with Creative, as they show us Amman in very amazing way, we had a great time with our driver Mohammad, and we really so sad when he left us after we finished Thank you Mohammad for the great time
Great tour, we enjoyed so much with our driver Ahmad, he was so great and he provided us with so many information, and show us the best Kunafa place in Jordan where we had the greatest desert
The sites visited were pleasant and interesting but the driver was not friendly and also it was difficult to comunicate in English with him. We didn´t have a tourist guide
This is basically just a driver and the car that you are booking for the day - nil ticket prices covered either. But the car was good and the driver Mohammad met expectations. You have to book seperate guides at each places. The booking price is almost equal to what it would cost you to charter a car for the day in Amman - could be slightly cheaper in Amman. The tour itierinary was good and they covered it well within the time specified. You have enough time at each places and then some. The traffic in Amman is terrible in the city but the driver managed to navigate it well. I would recommend this tour if you are in the city for the first time. Otherwise, just get a cab to the different places you want to go.
the perfect tour, i think this is the right address for this tour as we didn't know that amman have so many sites and we can spend a full day and even more the citadel was so amazing with a great view on the old city of amman, when you go down to the old city you almost had that feeling of simplicity of life, and for sure the food and sweet there is the best i think what add the flavor for this tour is our driver mosa becuse he was so kind and eduicated
amman is amazing city, the old part is very nice, the smell of food there is so great, the view from citadel is great, we enjoyed the trip so much and didn't want to leave and by the way when you go there ask to try some of street food and jordanian desert the driver showed us so many of these places there
Had a great day. Very knowledgeable and professional driver. Was impressed when the driver suggested we start tour later in the day to minimize time spent in traffic.
It is an excellent way to get to know Amman ....our guide took us to the must-see sites of interest at our own pace, which allowed us to see everything in detail...very good!!
