Great experience in this safari Lodge inside the park so driving around till 1900 and not exting the park early. Food is buffet lots of selection for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Great, friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are basic, clean we had a double bed, bathroom with hot showers. If staying i would highly recommend the kilmanjaro ballon safari separate company but 30 mins drive from hotel. List of animals is endless, but a great spot to start and end safaris in amboseli park. EDIT: After stay at another lodge I would like to add to this hotels positives. Bottled fresh water daily in room Kettle and tea making facilties in room Mosquito net around bed Evening turn down service Laundry service The staff ask about your day and what you have seen in the evening, the dinning room main host knew our names first day and we sat at the same table each day with the same servers which were really good

What a great location inside Amboseli National Park. Service was incredible, food was excellent, views were stunning, beds were comfortable. Highly recommend!
We had a lovely stay at Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge. The location is fantastic, with stunning views of the surrounding landscape and easy access to the national park. One of the highlights was the wildlife right within the property—seeing monkeys and mongooses roaming around, and animals occasionally grazing on the lawns, made the experience feel truly immersive. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms are a little on the smaller side, and while the food was good, there is some room for improvement in terms of variety and flavour. That said, these were minor points in what was otherwise a wonderful safari experience. Overall, the beautiful setting, unique wildlife encounters, and excellent hospitality make Amboseli Serena Safari Lodge a great place to stay. We would certainly recommend it to anyone visiting Amboseli.
This was our second‑best hotel out of the seven we visited during our safari tour. The rooms were very comfortable, the service was impeccable, and the food was genuinely enjoyable — even though it was served buffet‑style.
This is truly a dream location we left Nairobi and travelled by train to Emali where we were picked up by the wonderful Joseph Our driver and guide for our visit. A wonderful welcome drink at reception at one of only 2 resorts in the reserve. We were shown to our beautiful room looking straight out onto the plains. The rooms are beautifully decorated in fact the entire camp is covered with stunning native artwork. The Maasai warriors protecting the camp and guests from some of the not so shy monkeys were kind warm and happy to share stories of their tribal culture and history. We enjoyed time relaxing by the beautiful pool and could actually see elephant walking by. The Lodge and gardens are serene and beautiful all the staff are very helpful courteous and friendly. Food in the restaurant is varied and excellent. With dishes to suit all tastes. Again helpful friendly chefs are around to tell you about the different food and a station where they cook for you. The game drives were amazing sunset sunrise we saw elephant so many and so close lions and many many more. Stunning views of Kilimangaro in the mornings. On our last evening we enjoyed the fabulous bush barbecue delicious food cooked right there under the stars and finished with beautiful singing and dancing of the Maasai . We collected some lovely souvenirs at the gift shop and had a delicious lunch box organised for our departure. This is a truly magical place for its location surroundings and excellent facilities most of all for the people the make the experience. I would definitely return and recommend staying here.
