Pick up is not included. We depart from the Palapa Bar dock, and we meet there 15 minutes before departure. Then the ride to Mexico Rocks takes 1 h 15 min, while you lay down on comfortable cushions enjoying the ocean, the views and the sunshine, accompanied by drinks and music.
Mexico Rocks is an area of huge coral heads scattered all over this snorkeling spot - making it look like a Mexican sombrero, as some say the name comes from. Since Mexico Rocks became a part of the protected Hol Chan Marine Reserve in November 2015, it’s become famous for its prominent amount of marine life, and the coral formations has been flourishing.
After Mexico Rocks, we travel for about 15 minutes and then stop at a "natural pool" area where we anchor and serve our famous Belizean buffet onboard. It is an exclusive stop that only we make - we have the advantage of only drafting 2 feet which makes it possible to anchor in such shallow water, and we are also blessed with a Captain that know the spots where nobody else goes. This is a shallow area close by the reef and except from spectacular views it is also a unique setting and a refreshing break. The water is shallow and calm, making it perfect also for non-swimmers!
From Mexico Rocks back to town we travel for 1 h 15 min, but we stop on the way at Tres Cocos, a small concentration of marine life along the reef where a large amount of fish can be seen. This area is an entrance for large reef fish that usually lurk around these areas in search for food.
Erik and Anna were exceptional hosts and guides, the food and drinks kept coming, and the snorkeling was fantastic! We saw a manatee, barracuda, green turtle, and schools of blue tang…amazing
Charlie, Ray, and Eric were fantastic!!! They kept us hydrated and fed and were great guides around all things water!

This excursion was more than I expected. From the moment we arrived on the boat Charlie (our captain) and Ana felt like family! They were to attentive and sweet and made the experience 100 times better. The ride was so smooth and peaceful, the water was gorgeous and the drinks were flowing! Ana went out snorkeling with us and was so amazing with her guidance we saw such beautiful fish, lobster and even a turtle! After that we swam with stingrays and sharks! I thought it would be scary but both Charlie and Ana made us feel very safe. The food on board was AMAZING as well I wish I could have it again right now lol. I would 10/10 recommend this tour especially with both Charlie and Ana because they were wonderful and so fun.

My wife and I have been on several of these type of boating excursions and this was definitely one of our favorites. The crew was attentive with awesome service. The food and drinks were great. You will have a good snorkel experience and see m with sharks and stingrays in a very safe atmosphere. We went without our kids but would have felt safe with them on this too. Very fun experience. Our catamaran trip with Anna, Charlie-Jose’ with an A, and Victor was so much fun. They are all very friendly, awesome, & attentive. The catamaran was in great condition, the food they served was delicious, and the snorkeling was amazing. We swam with nurse sharks and stingrays. We couldn’t have had a better experience. It was perfect & i highly recommend them .
Very cool trip! The crew, Anna and Charlie, were fantastic - fun, knowledgeable, and great hosts! The first snorkel stop at Mexico Rocks was an hour in the water with great fish and a turtle. The second stop was a thriller - swimming with nurse sharks and sting rays! There were about 30 total at once, in about six feet of water. It was intimidating at first, but theyre gentle giants and it was amazing. The food and drinks were good, and the boat was comfortable. Highly recommend!

The trip and crew was great. The guides were knowledgeable and entertaining. Got to see a barracuda up close and swim with the rays and nurse sharks. The food and drinks were great too.

Amazing trip all the way around. The captain and on-board staff were friendly and ready to meet your every need. The trip to Mexico Rocks included a second stop where you swam with nurse sharks and stingrays. Great drinks were flowing and the lunch provided was excellent.
The crew was excellent and very welcoming to all aboard. They even made the folks who were nervous about getting into the water feel safe.
We had Anna & Charlie. They were very personable & knowledgeable. They both knew how to keep a light playful mood. Having excellent jokes, keeping a drink in hand, and making sure whatever we needed was handled. They were very helpful to point out things like sharks, stingrays, puffer fish, turtles and other native marine life. I was extremely satisfied with our snorkel time and our new boat mate family.
We had an amazing day with Catamaran Belize! Our guide and captain were amazing. The food was very tasty and plentiful. The drinks kept coming! Kudos to this company for making this happen for my daughter and I. We had a great time. I recommend this tour company! 10/10
My family of 4, including 2 older teens, had an amazing time today with Anna, Charlie and Eric! The catamaran was perfectly appointed to meet our needs, from a bathroom, to endless drinks (with and without alcohol). We all had the best snorkeling experience we've ever had. Mexican Rocks was a superb place to see turtles, corals, and so many beautiful fish. The ride there and back was comfortable and relaxing, and lunch was delicious. Our favorite part was swimming with the sharks and rays! Thank you so much for a perfect outing. Absolutely worth every penny.

Catamaran Belize was awesome! The boat was large enough to easily accommodate our group of 12+ with room to maneuver and was well kept. We stopped at a few different snorkeling spots and saw sharks, sting rays, and even a couple dolphins on the way there. Charlie and Anna were knowledgeable, hospitable and quite funny. I will definitely book with them again the next time I visit Belize!

Great professional knowledgeable friendly crew! Shout out to 007 and T Rex :-) There was some difficulty in communication/ confirming our trip but it worked out and we are super happy we did it. We went to Mexico Rocks and sting Ray City which I recommend as an additional snorkeling trip.

Fantastic boat, crew, food, drinks and guided tour! Just beware there is a constant island breeze that leaves the water a little choppy with a current that goes towards the shore. The boat is very comfortable making for a really nice, relaxing day on the water.
Friendly staff, great snorkeling, good food, and lots of alcohol if that is what you are looking for. If you are interested in a "sailing" experience, this is not the charter for you. It is operated with a motor. They did "raise" the sail on the way back, but it basically luffed the entire way and the boat moved extremely slow. If we had known this, we would have done the less expensive motorboat tour again. It went to the same snorkeling sites. There were other sail boats out when we were that were actually using sails, so they do exist.
Charlie and Ana were amazing! Both are super knowledgeable and friendly! I came as a customer and left feeling like a cherished friend! I did this my first morning on the island and can’t imagine any better way to welcome myself to Ambergris Caye. All the food was fresh, tasty and plentiful! Beverages flowed freely whether you wanted a Panty Ripper or just a soda. Charlie’s fish was the best I’ve had! I saw so many wonderful things and learned so much about the sea life as well as Belize. A must do!

Charlie was the best! From his quick witty jokes to his extensive knowledge of the local animals/ecosystem. He made sure we saw as many local animals as possible and had quite the keen eye for them. Anna was top notch and was a great guide in the water. On our trip not only did she point out the normal sea animals but also got us to see a lobster, baby sea turtle and a pufferfish! Raul was a great boat captain and made sure we all felt welcomed. He showed us many sharks and stingrays. Overall I would recommend this to everyone. I was hesitant and terrified of the ocean before this and everyone went out of there way to ensure that our safety was of the utmost importance. If you have the opportunity to go out with these 3, do it!
Charlie and. Anna were amazing. We weren’t sure with the weather it was going to happen so glad we used their judgement. We had the best time. Relaxing while sailing and snorkeling Anna is so knowledgeable. The food and drinks were amazing. Sad when our time ended.
These guys took great care of everyone on board. We stopped at multiple locations for some really great snorkel tours. We split into small enough groups to where we felt very connected to our guide. There was unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available as well as a delicious local Belizean lunch served. The only warning I would give is that much of the boat is not covered from the sun so be sure to bring your wide-brimmed hats and apply lots and lots of sunscreen!
A great experience! The crew was courteous and entertaining. Charlie, our captain was a wealth of knowledge about the reef and maintained a safe and clean vessel. Raul and Ana our snorkeling guides and hosts kept us safe, well fed and hydrated. Bring a underwater camera you’re gonna want to get pics of eagle rays, lemon sharks, and possibly sea turtles.
Wonderful snorkel trip with 2 stops and included a delicious meal cooked on board. We had extremely windy day (30mph), but overall a good time was had. We even happened upon two loggerhead turtles mating, which was a once in a lifetime experience. Definitely recommend this trip!
Great tour for people who want a mix of snorkeling and chilling on a boat. Food was filling, open bar was good, guides were funny and good at pointing out sea life. Definitely a nice mix of swimming time and relaxing time.

FIRST.... make sure you have a watertight sleeve for your phone. AMAZING photos of Rays and Sharks and all kinds of other colorful fish. SECOND.... see if you can make a full face mask work for you! Very comfortable and easy. We had a wonderful time that day. The boat was very nice and clean. The guides were friendly and Raul is a funny guy. The lunch they made for us was simply delicious. I was amazed at how close we got to the reef and the coral we saw was beautiful. I would recommend this trip to anyone and we will plan on going again next year!
The crew was fun and competent. Joel snorkeled with us on the first stop at Mexico Rocks pointing out the fish. The lunch was amazing on board. We went to a lunch spot where we saw amazing sting rays and some sharks. Final snorkeling stop was Tres Cocos. It was a beautiful day, the staff very accommodating. Highly recommend.
This day trip to Mexico Rocks and two other snorkel locations was so fun and enjoyable! The crew is absolutely fantastic as hosts, as guides in the snorkel tours, and as food and drink distributors throughout the day. They made our day really, really enjoyable all around. We loved each stop and the different snorkeling experience that each one provided. The lunch that was served was all local food and absolutely delicious and hello...free drinks all day! My only caution would be to bring lots of sunblock and really load up all day long. It does turn out to be a long day in the sun and despite putting on sunblock, all of us got a little sunburn. The boat offers a little shade in and around the galley, but almost none in the front so it's helpful to move out of the sun occasionally. If you don't have a full face snorkel mask, I would highly recommend buying one on Amazon, they make the snorkeling experience a million times better!
We had a great trip to Mexico Rocks for snorkeling, swimming and a day of sun! We would highly recommend this trip! Raoul and Anna were our guides and they were awesome! They took such great care of us and were such good guides for our snorkel. Would highly recommend a day on the water with this group!
We had an amazing time on this tour. Anna and Raul were so amazing, kind, and helpful. The snorkeling was great, we saw lots of sting rays, a turtle, lobster, and tons of beautiful fish. Food and drinks were great. Definitely an amazing day out for couples.
What a wonderful day! Despite the rough seas the captain did great. Anna and Raul were, fun, skilled and knowledgeable. Foood and drinks delicious! Boat comfortable. Snorkeling was beautiful! Loved the big groupers, barracuda and manta rays. Some pretty coral and rock formation. We had 11 on the boat and it was not crowded.
Amazing snorkeling, awesome guides. I’ve never seen such incredible variety of fish and coral before. We even saw a sea turtle! Loved the whole day!
The crew was great. They desired to be helpful. The equipment was nice as well. The itenerary was perfect, the food was the best I had on the caye.
