Cave Tubing And Zipline Adventure From San Pedro

This experience was one of a lifetime. Tarik is easily one of the best tour guides I've ever had. We started with ziplining. Make sure you have a secure place to keep your phone. I tucked mine inside of my swimsuit. The guides recorded videos of us. Make sure you have on bug spray. The mosquitoes were very aggressive. We saw a tarantula as we were leaving. The tubing was nice and much darker than I expected. Bring a waterproof pouch for your phone. We had lunch near the cave that was amazing. It was a full day tour (just over 11 hours), but well worth the time and money.

Both experiences were great, zip-lining through the rain forest was beautiful and the guides were experienced and super friendly. The cave tubing was spectacular; “George of the Jungle” (self-named) was probably the finest guide you will ever find—his knowledge of the river and caves made us feel very safe, and he knew so much about the native plants and their medicinal properties. Definitely ask for George, with Josh as your tour driver!

Our day began meeting with the owner at the water taxi station. He told us all about what to expect and who we would be meeting once we arrived in Belize City. Tyrique (our guide) was absolutely the best. He had so much information, told us stories of his childhood as we passed through his hometown on our way, and was very kind. At first we weren't sure about zip lining. To be honest it seemed a little 'young" for us. But we had so much fun! Our guides there were Luis and Calvin aka Chuck and they taught us about some plants along our way and even coaxed out a tarantula. From there it was a short drive to our cave tubing experience which is Tyrique's favorite tour to do. There was a small but manageable hike to get to the entrance but the adventure was amazing. When we reached the cave exit it was raining in the rainforest...next level magical experience. We could have stayed there all day, but alas it was on to a beautiful open air restaurant for stewed chicken for lunch. There was a small pop up shower that cooled the air as we ate. We then began our trip back to the water taxi and back to San Pedro. We were the last ones on the boat, but thanks to Tyrique for running we didn't have to wait at the terminal for an hour and a half waiting for the next trip out. It was a wonderful day!

This had to be the best excursion I've ever taken. Our guide treated us more like friends and made sure every moment was unforgettable. Tyric and Norman were awesome and I will recommend to everyone to make sure they are their guides. Ziplining was just right not too hard but still super fun. And absolutely beautiful is the word to use for the cave tubing adventure

We had a great experience with our family of 6- 4 adults and 2 teenagers. Our guide tyrique was amazing, he went above and beyond to explain give us history of the caves, took us to a great spot for lunch with authentic Belizean food and threw some extra adventures in along the way. Would highly recommend

An easy-to-execute adventuring experience! It was a LONG day for us, meeting up at 6:45, and returning to San Pedro at 18:00. I wish we brought more cash, be prepared to tip 1) the zipline guides 2) the cave tubing guides (which may or may not be the guide that drove you and 3) the guide that picks you up in Belize City/drops you off at the port! We had Tarique show us around and he was a wonderful and knowledgeable guide! For cave tubing footwear, wear water shoes or sandals with a strap on the back. They have rental shoes for $6 bz if you don't have shoes, but make sure to bring cash to pay for the rental.

It was a wonderful trip!! Definitely recommend. My teenage sons enjoyed the entire day. The cave tubing and zip lines weee a highlight.

I signed up for the activity and was beyond excited to explore. Due to weather, it was canceled. Ovel was so helpful and sympathetic, on top of getting my refund with no issues. I will be back!. Everything about Belize is about hospitality, kindness, and love of their country. I highly recommend this excursion!

Tariq was by far one of the best guide we’ve had anywhere. He shared his knowledge and enthusiasm for the nature and history of Belize and indulged our many many questions. Five starts! This tour was absolutely fantastic and ended up being one of the highlights of our trip to Belize. We were staying in San Pedro, and the company made everything incredibly easy. They helped ensure we purchased the correct ferry tickets and provided clear instructions so we could make it to Belize City and meet our guide without any stress. Our guide, Tarek, was outstanding. From the moment he picked us up, he made the day fun, informative, and enjoyable. He was organized, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in making sure everyone had a great experience. The zip lining was excellent. The staff was professional, safety-focused, and very well organized. We felt completely comfortable the entire time. They explained everything clearly, kept the experience moving smoothly, and even took photos for us so we could enjoy the adventure without worrying about our phones. The cave tubing portion was absolutely fascinating. After a short hike through the jungle, we entered the cave system and floated down the river while learning about the area’s history and geology. It was unlike anything we’ve ever done and easily one of the coolest experiences of our trip. The guides were incredibly knowledgeable and helped us appreciate just how unique the cave system is. The day was wrapped up with a delicious lunch before heading back to catch the ferry to San Pedro. While it is a long day, it never felt overwhelming because everything was so well organized. Between the adventure, the scenery, the knowledgeable guides, and Tarek’s excellent hospitality, the entire experience was memorable from start to finish. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting San Pedro, Belize. It’s a full day of adventure that’s absolutely worth it!

If you are staying on San Perdo it is allll day. Our tour guid Josh was amazing informative and funny. The little place we stopped for lunch was really good as well.

What a fantastic tour! Zip lining was so fun and the guides are very skilled. They’re fun. They are so personable. Victor and William are absolutely the best. I highly recommend ! The second part of this tour with floating under the cave was breathtaking and again our guides of navigators Norman was phenomenal.!!!

We had a great guide, Norman, and a wonderful experience. The zip lining was great, however, tubing through a cave was a once in a lifetime experience. I would recommend for anyone looking for an adventure.

We had an amazing time on our zip lining and tubing adventure! Tarik was an amazing tour guide and made the experience that much more enjoyable. A must-do if you’re looking for some adventure on your trip to Belize. Will require some amount of physical fitness/balance to be able to do. 10/10, would do again.

TAKE THIS TOUR! It was the highlight of my trip. Good communication with the team and easy pickup/drop off from the San Pedro water ferry. Our tour guide Tarique was amazing- knowledgeable, kind, and engaging. Through zip lining and cave tubing, all people our group interacted with were friendly, and it is a beautiful area. Prepare to spend some time in the car to and from the activities inland. DO NOT be like me and not bring enough cash to tip your tour guides! All of the vendors along the trip accept USD, so bring plenty of cash.

We loved our full day snorkeling tour with Ridge and Reef so much that we also booked this tour. It was another wonderful day. Our driver, Tyreek, was incredibly informative, and he had a great personality. The zip lining adventure staff were knowledgeable and helpful. Tyreek knew so much about Belize and shared a ton with us as he guided us through the forest and cave. Again, Ovel coordinated a wonderful day of learning about Belize while having lots of fun. I would highly recommend this tour!!!!

Guide was phenomenal. Loved every minute. Zip line was a rush and the cave river trip was so cool. Great day, great food, 10 outta 10.

We came to Belize for the first time, and Ridge and Reef took very good care of us! Ovel was organized, personable, and made sure the trip was enjoyable for us. Tariq guided us through the caves and to the caves while providing a running commentary of the history and beauty of Belize, including the Mayan culture. He took us to hell and back...in the best way! The Zipline crew was also to notch. Both Perfulio and Ian took us through all 7 lines and we felt very safe. It all ended with a great meal that was included. You won't find a better company to work with in Belize.

We booked this two weeks ahead and the confirmation clearly stated it could be cancelled if more people didn't book it. We were notified less than 12 hours from start time that it was cancelled. I happened to check my email at 9pm the night before to see the email that had just been sent that it was cancelled. We were expected to be at the dock at 6:45am the following morning. If I hadn't checked my email, we would have been at the dock for a cancelled trip. With such late notice, we also couldn't book a replacement trip. In my opinion that notice timeframe was completely insufficient and I was very frustrated.

This was a wonderful and well organized tour. Our tour guide Tarik was very knowledgeable. He made sure that we were well taken care of and that we were safe. This was so good I would do it again.

To start, the company should be very clear about the amount of travel time required for this trip. A 90-minute ferry ride and 1 hr car ride minimum each way!! So much time wasted in transport. Zip lining was quick and average. The restaurant we were supposed to go to for lunch ended up being closed and we wasted more time figuring out lunch. Lunch was tasty and was an authentic Belizean meal. The cave tubing was very fun, however we left too late and ended up missing the ferry. We had to wait around 1 hour for the last ferry. It was Easter, restaurants were not open, and alcohol was not being served. Overall, seems like they have great potential, but definitely have some organizational things to work on.

The staff at Ridge and Reef Adventures made our entire day run smoothly! We were staying in San Pedro and their help with transportation made everything easy. Tarik was an amazing guide and taught us so many cool things about the jungle and cave systems. Lunch was fantastic too! We loved this excursion!

The tour operator and Mr Tarique was great. The only part I didn’t enjoy was the very long way to get to Belize City from San Pedro. Spent 11 hours door to door that day but only approx 2 hours of it was the activity. The rest was spent commuting to and from which I knew in advance. Recommend doing this via flight rather than water taxi. Very good experience with both ziplining and cave tubing. Great guides.

We had an amazing family adventure and learned so much about Belize from our awesome guide, Norman! From meeting us at the boat dock and throughout the whole day, we felt very taken-care of. The cave tubing was truly a unique experience.

Amazing tour and guides. In San Pedro, Abraham greeted us, assisted us with parking and got our tickets for the water taxi. Tarik, our guide in Belize City, took us to the zipline and cave tubing experience. He was very knowledgeable and so kind. 10 out of 10 would recommend this experience to anyone visiting Belize City. Do prepare good, supportive swim shoes for cave tubing as jungle area can be really rocky on the route to the caves. Also wear light colors to repel bugs more. We learned this during the tour.

This trip was fantastic and I'm so glad my partner and I chose to go with this group. They were super accommodating when we had to reschedule due to an unfortunate storm, and made it one of our top experiences. Our guide, Tarik, was wonderful. He shared so much knowledge with us and provided us with opportunities to try the local mangoes and fresh coconut water en route to the site. He was super chill and relaxed and it was truly a pleasure to spend the day with him. The activities themselves were a lot of fun and there were many WOW moments through the caves and forest. Belize is such a beautiful country and it was incredible to see this side of it. Thank you Tarik, for an amazing experience.

Great experience ! They booked our ferry transfers and flights were an option too since we were staying in San Pedro. Our guide was awesome and very knowledgeable of the area. I included a lunch stop. Very god deal for the price would reccomend them to anyone and if I would ever be in Belize again I’d book them them for sure.

This was my favorite day of my trip! We were met promptly at 8am by a team member to give us our ferry tickets and instructions. Once we landed in Belize City our guide Tariq was waiting for us. The van was comfortable and the AC was perfect- he kept us entertained with fun facts about the city on the hour drive to the zip line. We geared up and had fun zipping through the tree tops. Then we had a great lunch and moved on to the cave tubing. It was really fun and Tariq worked his butt off navigating us through the caves. There is about a 25 min walk/hike before the tubing portion but on this one you don’t have to carry the tube it’s waiting for you at the entrance. When the tubing was done we changed and enjoyed an easy ride back to the ferry terminal. This was my absolutely favorite thing in Belize. I can’t recommend it enough. Even with the ferry transfer it’s so worth it. Just hang on and enjoy the ride

We had such a great time. There were 7 of us and our guide “T” was the absolute best guide. He took care of us from the time we landed in Belize. He told us all about Belize history and answered all of our questions. The zip line was really fun and once we finished there, it was about 10 minute drive to the cane tubing. There are local vendors at the cable tubing. They were all very friendly. Not pushy. “T” was our guide through the caves and man he did a phenomenal job. Just know it was a vey long walk to get to the caves. Take this tour. Hopefully you will have ”T” as your guide.

Very well organized. Met at the pier, put on the boat, met at the other pier. Tarik was our guide and driver. Great narration while we traveled to the zip line. Fun and safe zip line thru the jungle. Pretty good lunch and then a decent hike to the cave entrance. Wear good shoes. It was pretty hot. Took my 85 year old mom and they were very patient and helpful (as were the zip line folks). The river was nice and cool and the cave float was truly unique. Then Tarik drove like a champ and got us to the boat in the nick of time. Highly recommend.

This was by far the highlight of my trip to Belize. The guide, Tarick, was awesome. He was a wealth of information during the drive to the nature reserve, the hike to the cave, and through the cave. It was my first time zip lining and the guides made it very easy - and fun! The hike through the beautiful forest and crossing the beautiful clear river was amazing; floating through an ancient cave is something I will never forget. The water was pristine.

The caves and ziplining were wonderful but having a great guide can make or break an experience. Our guide Tarik was amazing! Knowledgable, fun, friendly and put in the extra to make it especially nice and as a result was tipped well. The company owner made sure to show up and help create a smooth enjoyable experience.

Outstanding tour the zip line was awesome, the beautiful cave and jungle. The tour guide who made it a great experience with is knowledge of the history and culture of Belize. 5 stars also the rasta man tour guide needs a raise!!

We had a really great experience in the caves and zip-line. Jimmy was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and tried to be efficient in getting us where we needed to be. Would highly recommend the tour. Only thing we didn’t like was the waiting during the zip lines. You spend 50 minutes waiting in a queue and 10 minutes on the zip line.

Mr. T (Tyrique) was an amazing guide on this inland adventure. Cave tubing was a super unique experience worth the trip alone. The zip line was great as well, with very capable guides and well-maintained equipment for a safe and fun time (but we wished it was longer). Note that it’s a solid one-hour drive each way from Belize City, and that if you’re coming from San Pedro or Caye Caulker that there’s a long boat ride each way as well. Our teenage boys (13 and 16) loved it as well.

Everything was amazing. From the zip line to going through the cave. Josh was an amazing guide and very funny. Highly recommend.

Amazing. Cave tubing was amazing. And ziplining wasn't so bad, either :) After a few days of scuba, we were ready for a land-based activity. And this one was perfect. I've been on tours in many places around the world, and I can't think of any guide who did a better job than our guide on this trip, Tarick. Quick tips: flip flops are probably okay, but sandals that more securely fasten to the foot are better. Hiking shoes are fine, you'll just want to rent water shoes (crocs) at the cave tubing site to keep your shoes dry. (Rentals were only $3 USD when we went.) Also, bring a waterproof sleeve for your phone. Or you can buy them there. ($10 USD)

This is a great trip if you want to learn about Belize and explore the jungle in a family friendly way! The zip lining is nothing crazy but a ton of fun. All the guides are well trained and we felt safe the entire time. The tube through the caves and down the river is an incredible and relaxing experience. The caves truly are a must see. Make sure your water shoes/sandals have backs on them as you have about a mile hike and you don’t want to lose your shoes in the river! The rental shoes they offer don’t have much support! Our guide Tarik is who you should ask for, he is friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He made our experience one to remember !

Kenton was the most amazing guide. He was smart and so fun! He took excellent care of us. We had a terrific time. The zip lining was exhilarating and in such a beautiful location! The cave tubing was so peaceful and still so fun that I want to go again and again!
