Las Terrazas Resort And Residences Ambergris

Our family of four really enjoyed our time at Las Terrazas! The location is great, about halfway between the town and Secret Beach. The staff were always wonderful, genuine, and positive. We really appreciated Joel and all his enthusiasm for the island and how we could best enjoy it. We had booked excursions ahead of time, but I found myself wishing we had gone through him. Karla provided wonderful service both in the restaurant and at the pool. Our room was nice, the AC worked really well which we all appreciated! We also booked a golf cart for the week, which was awesome. One recommendation would be for them to install towel racks or hooks to hang swimsuits and towels up. Also, our second bathroom was outside on the top deck, so we would go outside to use the bathroom from the master. It was a unique experience for sure, but didn’t bother us…

The customer service here is great! Joel, Nelson, Jose, and Stuart are the best. The ladies in the restaurant and at the front desk are kind and helpful. The resort offers a lot of fun activities and amenities. You’re welcomed with a rum punch and are kindly sent off with a luggage retrieval service. I enjoyed the pool and the on-site dining. There are some natural things that come with visiting an island undergoing development. The beach cleaner machine was under repair, so there was a strong smell of decaying seaweed. The humid ocean air left our condo with a damp scent and a rusty ice maker. The high winds knocked out the T.V. and internet our final night. Overall, I loved Belize and can’t wait to return!

My experience was great.my Stay at this location in all a very beautiful place. The food, the drinks, the people they're all so sweet and kind, I had a great time for my birthday and will most definitely go back there and I will stay at that hotel again 😊

We had our wedding at Las Terrazas in Dec 2025. I honestly can't put it into words what an experience it was. The people are amazing, the service phenomenal, accomodations out of this world. The resort staff worked extra hard to clean up the beach from the seaweed which plagues the island. The resort coordinated everything logistically. Made this exotic one-in-a-lifetime vacation as easy as a summer trip to the shore. The location is spectacular. Far enough away from town but right smack in the middle to get to Secret Beach and points north. I was pleased, and my now wife won't stop asking when we can go back. Belize is quite possibly the perfect destination, and Las Terrazas is as close to perfect of a place to stay as you can get... And btw, if you always wanted to do a destination wedding but thought the cost was too much, check in to Belize. It was so much cheaper than I had even budgeted for! It's a short flight from the US, they take US currency and speak English. What have you got to lose?
