This was such a relaxing and informative 2-hours of our day on the Amalfi Coast. The owners, who served as tour guides, cooks, servers (everything) were friendly and open. We enjoyed the lunch and the generous pours of wine.

Itinerary
In 2004, to revive an ancient wine-growing tradition, the S. Francesco a Tramonti farm was born, the green heart of the Amalfi Coast. The farm covers about eight and a half hectares and produces wines from the grapes of three historic local families: the Bove, the D'Avino, the Giordano. The modern high-tech equipment of the cellar was completed by the beginning of 2005. It is set in the ancient estate belonging to the Di Palma family, the current producers, who made use of the professional and expert advice of Dr. Carmine Valentino from Avellino . The Tasting begins at 11:30 with a visit to the historic pre-philloxera vineyards (300-500 years) and continues in the historic 18th century Masseria where the 17th century cellar is located, with TASTING of 3 D.O.C wines - Amalfi Coast - Tramonti paired with "panzanella" (bread salad made with "biscottato bread" - bread with double wholemeal flour -, fresh tomatoes and basil) accompanied by fresh mozzarella and ricotta, seasoned cheeses and cured meats.

We had a wonderful time at the Teunta San Francesco Winery. We had a great tour of the vineyards and enjoyed learning about the history. We loved the fresh snacks and some of the best wine we have ever had!
Our tour guide was amazing. He took us to one little grove of grapes and told us the history of how the winery came to be. He showed us the grapes, which were just beginning to grow. He told us of the vines. We then headed back to the tasting room and had a selection of their four top wines, three. paired with appetizers. We were the only tour there to start, but by the time we left it was hectic and loud with children. We had a wonderful time and even shipped some wine back to the US. Thank you to our tour guide and the moms in the kitchen!
Wine and tour was excellent. We bought a few bottles to take with us. A bit of a hike to get there so need to hire a car or driver
Friendly owners - Top Service - Great food - Amazing wines and interesting tour at the wine yards. We’re group of 8 people from Norway - 10/10
Do this. It's so much fun! We are a couple on our seventies, but not too strenuous for us. We got to tour the vineyard, and hear all about the history of the place from one of the family/owners. All very interesting. We had a lovely snack of bruscetta and various delicious cheeses along with the wine tasting. Wine so good we had some shipped home which they made super easy! I can't do justice to how beautiful it was there, and what a lovely, relaxing afternoon we spent with those nice folks! Definitely a highlight of our trip!
It was such a beautiful experience. I learned so much. The wine and food pairings were excellent. A very impressive winery. It was great to hear their story.
We have spend some time during due to the weather visiting their winery and it was all worth it!!! Fantastic wines, lovely food and a small tour through their factory. We will come back here to taste some more wines!
Augustine was knowledgeable and pleasant! It is a magical place. We loved the experience and the wine is amazing!
This is a very sweet winery with a great little history and our tour guide did such a good job showing us around. We really enjoyed the winery tour. Lunch was a little light and we tasted three wines (we were hoping actually for another taste) but the wines were very delicious and we ended up buying a case to bring home. We were paired with a couple from Finland and we really enjoyed their company. I would recommend this winery for sure. The only reason I am not giving it five stars is that it did feel a little bit commercialized to me, like sit down drink these three tastes of wine and now here's your order form. They were very busy when we were there so I'm sure that contributed to that sense of commercialism.
This experience was very fun. The host was knowledgeable and funny. We enjoyed the wine and the food. We also purchased a few bottles to take with us. Great wine! Definitely visit if on the Amalfi coast.
Lovely wine tour, wine was great and would highly recommend the experience. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and the food which accompanied the wine was lovely.
The vineyards were amazing and we learned so much about the wine. We appreciated the knowledge as we wanted to learn the story and the history and both were covered. We enjoyed everything included our drive up with our driver recommended by this vineyard as he was also very knowable. The wine and food was also delicious. Anyone that visits southern Italy should plan a visit here I highly recommend.
Love the family atmosphere, friendly staff, learning the history of the vineyard, amazing wine and apps.
We have had the good fortune of finding this wonderful vineyard several years ago. Recently we had the chance to return again. The incredible friendliness of the family who live and work there makes this visit a wonderful experience. The incredible wine is a bonus . And yes, we did ship another case home!
Giovanni our host was very personable and extremely knowledgeable and passionate! The tour was beautiful and the atmosphere was incredible. The wine was superb and the appetizers were delicious.
Two family members recommended we visit this winery! It was amazing. The hosts are wonderful and so is the wine!!
It was amazing the wine tour, short but the tasting I loved it … it is located at the hills of the Amalfi Coast very amazing view
The wine, the food, the people!! We spent several hours and had a four course meal along with four glasses of wine. These are not 'tastes' like you get in the USA, this was a glass of wine. Thankfully, we had a driver. All delicious, ended up buying 12 bottles to be shipped home. Price and shipping reasonable.
My fiance and I were at Tenuta San Francesco last week and had such a fantastic experience. We had a tour of the vineyard and cellar, a private tasting and lunch prepared by one of the family owners. The wine was delicious, but not as delicious as the home cooked meal! Only about 30 mins from Rovello or Amalfi, this is a great side trip for those staying on the Amalfi coast.
Forget the taxis to get there!!! Taking the Sity bus from Maiori to Tramonti is clearly part of the experience! Disembarked in the countryside and walked on unpaved paths! Welcoming family and incredible food made by the Italian mom! Not to mention the wine! Great trip! I recommend it!
Paesaggio suggestivo, nonostante il mese non sia dei migliori per visitare un vigneto. I vini tutti buonissimi, consiglio di assaggiare anche quelli biologici.
