If you wish to learn to make homemade fettuccini and ravioli, this is unquestionably the class for you!! It is organized into small groups -- usually only four people -- and from start to finish it is loads of fun. We began by learning how to make a Tiramisu from scratch, and them moved onto preparing the dough for making fresh pasta. First up was the fettuccini, as it required a bit of time before it was ready for the hot water. The ravioli can only be described as fantastic!! After learning how to roll out the dough used for both pastas, we prepared and cooked the ravioli in a butter sauce so simple, and yet so full of flavor, that any restaurant would be proud to serve such a dish. The ravioli was stuffed with ricotta and spinach, but any number of fillings would have worked. The sauce as a simple unsalted butter, pasta water, and sage. It was so creamy and delicious that you almost had to swab up the leftover sauce with bread. The fettuccini was served with a basic Pomodoro Sauce that was light, and non acidic. It was perfect. The entire meal was paired with a red and a white wine. This was perhaps the most memorable experience of our 2+ week trip across Sicily and ending in Sorrento. If you wish to have a fantastic and fun time, book your visit with Vittoria and Ana now!!

This was a last minute booked experience due to the weather and I am so happy we did! Vittoria, the host, is so helpful, and a wealth of knowledge when it comes to the history of the villa and how to make and prepare food. We made wonderful tiramisu, fettucine and ravioli! They were all delicious and was paired with the family's wine produced at their winery. Overall, this was an excellent experience and rate it as a highlight of our trip!
First class experience - it was a small group in a beautiful family owned villa- by far one be of the highlights of our vacation - the owner was patient and organized and the food delicious
Wonderful experience!!! Would recommend this activity to anyone! The food experience was great along with the paired wine from the family’s vineyard!
Our evening at Casa Fiorita was truly one of the highlights of our trip to Italy and an experience we'll never forget. From the moment we were picked up with our private transfer, everything felt special. The class was held at Casa Fiorita, a historic property overlooking the sea. Once a monastery, then a school, and now a beautiful private home and Airbnb, the setting was absolutely stunning. The grounds were immaculate, and watching the sun set over the water was nothing short of magical. The evening began with a welcome glass of champagne, setting the tone for what would become an unforgettable experience. Chef Vittoria and Irma were fantastic instructors, making everyone feel comfortable while sharing their knowledge, passion, and sense of humor throughout the evening. Over the next three hours, we learned how to make several classic Italian dishes completely from scratch. We started with a delicious tiramisu, then made fresh linguine, followed by ravioli. The instruction was hands-on, informative, and fun, with plenty of laughs along the way. Once our cooking was complete, we sat down to enjoy the fruits of our labor. We tasted incredible homemade bread paired with olive oil produced from the family's own property and enjoyed a wine tasting featuring wines from the family's winery near Naples. Every bite and every sip highlighted the care, tradition, and authenticity behind this experience. The combination of breathtaking scenery, exceptional food and wine, fascinating local history, and the warm hospitality of Chef Vittoria and Irma made for a perfect evening. If you're visiting Sorrento and looking for an authentic experience that goes beyond the typical tourist activity, this cooking class is an absolute must. Five stars simply aren't enough. Highly recommended! 🍝🍷🌅✨
This experience was one of the best!!!! Our host made us feel like family. There home was magnificent. The food we made and ate was far above fantastic. Wine pairing, lemonchello to top of the night. Exceptional
One of the best parts of our trip! Vittoria and her crew were absolutely fantastic and spoke great English for us to understand the whole time! We made tiramisu, ravioli in a butter basil sauce, and fettuccini with red sauce! We didn’t make the sauces, those were already cooking when we got there because they take time. The whole thing was so fun and we were with 3 other random couples that were very fun also! We had Prosecco the whole time from when we arrived through cooking and then the wine tasting with dinner and limoncello to follow. The whole garden, house, and outdoor kitchen were absolutely beautiful, and we had dinner outside, which was so lovely. They also provided us a ride to and from sorrento, which was great! Highly recommend to anyone considering this!
Must do experience with this family business Ask for Vitoria
We had a fabulous time with vittoria and her family. The outdoor kitchen and views were amazing. We made two different pastas and tiramisu and it was delicious. Then Vittoria paired each meal with a wine from her family’s vineyard in Naples. I cannot recommend this enough! We all had a great time!
The location was fabulous! Victoria did a great job and it was a wonderful experience with a beautiful sunset and a beautiful location. We really enjoyed this. Highly recommend
I strongly recommend that you book this cooking class in Sorrento. It will definitely be an enjoyable evening & highlight of your trip. Vittoria and her mother made everyone feel at home. There were a total of four couples at the dinner and we all had a terrific evening They picked us up at the hotel, which was very convenient and they brought us to their family property where we enjoyed their welcome drink and cheese We then were shown how to make tiramisu and we had lots of laughs making the dessert ourselves . then we were brought over to another part of the kitchen where we made pasta dough and used their pasta machines to make fettuccine then later we made ravioli At dinner, they paired the wine with the pasta dish that was served. The most incredible part of the night was watching the unbelievably beautiful sunset. You would never believe the beautiful colors as the sun set. Amazing pictures! Don’t even think twice and just booked a trip you will not be disappointed
We cannot rave more about Vittoria and her beautiful Villa and cooking knowledge. She and her second chef, Ima, were welcoming, warm and made us feel like family. We were picked up at our meeting point. We were a little confused about where to go so we sent her a WhatsApp message. She got back to us in a timely fashion and her instructions were perfectly clear. We made it up to the gorgeous Villa that’s been in her family for a long time and it was just stunning. Let me make sure I paint a picture properly. This is NOT a stuffy experience AT ALL. You will be welcomed to the outdoor kitchen, the gardens and inside for bathroom/hand washing like you just got home from a long trip. You will be immediately offered prosecco and the most amazing cheese I’ve ever had. You’ll be encouraged to explore the garden area and just relax while everyone arrives. (You will also be shown to where the bug spray is - highly recommend! Beautiful area with lots of mosquitoes!) I don’t want to give all the fun away but we met 5 additional students and half the fun was enjoying this journey with them. Vittoria knows what she’s doing with pasta! We learned SO much and walked away with the confidence and excitement that we can do this at home. Ima’s sauces were incredible and she’ll teach you what to do to re-create them. Sitting down to eat with our new friends was really special. The food we made was so good and the wine pairings and olive oil were excellent. Also know that despite the fact that these are both family owned products you will not get any type of hard sales pitch. Not what Vittoria is about. Sunset at the Villa…must be seen to be believed. If I could give this warm, fun, family-feel experience 10 stars, I would. Do yourself a favor and immediately book one of best Sorrento experiences you will have!
Victoria was fabulous!! My mom, sister and I did this and the view was amazing, Victoria was delightful and their home and beautiful! I would recommend this cooking class to anyone wanting a slowed down afternoon in Sorrento!
We had the best experience taking this cooking class! The views are beautiful and the food you cook is delicious! And the hosts make you feel at home as a part of their family. They also let you try their delicious homemade olive oil and wines. Would definitely take this class again and recommend it to anyone visiting Sorrento!
We had a great time learning how to cook fresh pasta in the Chefs outdoor kitchen. The Chef was professional and fun. She explained the cooking methods really well. Everyone made great food. Then the group had our dinner in their outside dinning area that overlooks their orchards and the seas.
Me and my husband did this cooking class as part of our honeymoon! It was amazing and so personal! Vik was brilliant and we learnt so much - Casa Fiorita is beautiful and has a stunning sea view
Amazing experience! Vittoria was a great host opening up her family Villa to us for the cooking class and wine tasting. She kicked things off with a wine and cheese pairing which was really good and then we made our tiramisu. Next we made two different types of pastas and then went and relaxed outside with amazing views of the gulf. Vittoria then shared with us 3 different wines that paired with our meal. She was very knowledgeable and the wine and food was superb! I would definitely recommend anyone staying in Sorrento to take this class and enjoy the experience.
If I could give this experience more than 5 stars, I would. From the moment we were picked up at our hotel until we were dropped back off, every detail was absolutely exceptional. Being welcomed into a family’s historic home in the hills of Italy was a gift in itself. The home is filled with generations of history, and you immediately feel like you’re being invited in as friends rather than guests. We were greeted with delicious local cheeses and sparkling wine before beginning what became one of the highlights of our entire trip. We learned how to make ravioli, tagliatelle, and tiramisu completely from scratch, and every step was explained with patience, warmth, and genuine passion. The wine we enjoyed came from their own family vineyard, and the olive oil was made from olives grown right on their property. You simply can’t recreate an experience this authentic in a restaurant or cooking school. We were traveling with our five-year-old daughter, who quickly decided cooking wasn’t for her. Without hesitation, they graciously prepared a meal just for her, making sure she felt included and cared for. That level of kindness meant so much to our family. It’s hard to believe this is only their second season hosting guests. The experience was so polished, seamless, and thoughtfully curated that it felt like they had been doing it for decades. Every detail reflected genuine hospitality, pride in their family’s traditions, and a true love of sharing Italian culture. This wasn’t just a cooking class—it was an invitation into someone’s home, heritage, and way of life. It was one of the most memorable experiences we’ve ever had while traveling, and we can’t thank them enough for their generosity, warmth, and unforgettable hospitality. If you’re anywhere near the Amalfi Coast or Sorrento, don’t hesitate. Book this experience. It’s the kind of memory you’ll cherish long after you’ve returned home.
This was the best experience of our trip. I can honestly say I have never written a trip advisor review but I wanted to for Vittoria and Casa Fiorita. What a wonderful cooking class, it was so much fun and delicious. The wine pairing made it even better. You MUST do this if you’re in the area!! She even picked us up and dropped us off. 10/10. This is a such a good deal for what you pay for.
Lovely authentic experience with a local family. Stunning villa and outdoor kitchen facilities. Thoroughly enjoyed the food and wine pairing. My husband would've preferred to actually cook the food and sauce and not just prepare. But perhaps this isn't logistically possible with more people. My only recommendation would be for people to apply bug spray/wear long sleeve clothing as we got bit quite a lot by mosquitos as you are sat amongst the trees/gardens for food. We wish we had known :). I would book this again.
My family went to this cooking class this evening, and I honestly cannot express how incredible it was. I wish I had counted the number of times one of my family members said, “This is amazing” or “this is wonderful” or simply “wow!” as we stepped onto the grounds of their villa that was built in the 1700’s. The hosts were so fun and personable; we immediately felt like part of their family. We learned how to make fettuccine and ravioli, and we have already started planning a family night of pasta making back home. The view while having dinner was so beautiful it felt like a movie. They paired wines from their family vineyard, and the pairings were impeccable. I will finish this review with one word: Wow!!
We had such a great evening with Vittoria and our small group while on our trip to Italy. This was our favorite activity that we booked on our trip! The class was so fun. Delicious pasta, wine and tiramisu while enjoying the beautiful sunset. We can’t wait to recreate the recipes once we get back home. Would highly recommend this experience, thank you!
Excellent experience, a big thank you to Vittoria. We had really nice hands-on teaching how to make good pasta and tiramisu in a peaceful and relaxed environment. Something to definitely do at home with friends and family. A cherry on the cake was the excellent wines served with the food. I can really recommend for anyone looking for instructions in authentic Italian food preparation.
We had such an incredible time at our pasta making class and wine tasting with Vittoria! We learned how to make fettuccine, ravioli, and tiramisu. Everything was paired with delicious wine from her family vinyard and olive oil from their olive trees all while overlooking the bay of naples from a beautiful villa. A truly fantastic way to spend the day! Vittoria is a true master of her craft and a great instructor!
What a fantastic evening! Vittoria was a fabulous chef, sommelier and host! We had so much fun learning how to cook some of her family’s recipes and pairing them with wines from her mother’s vineyard. The setting was stunning as we were overlooking the meditation sea in the family villa’s outdoor kitchen and watched the sunset while eating the dinner we made! Highly reccommend!
Such an authentic, fun and engaging experience, cooking fettuccine, ravioli, and tiramisu from scratch and paired with wine from the owner’s vineyard!
Great host and fun cooking class with a beautiful view and tasty homemade wine from the family vineyard. Highly recommend!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What an unforgettable experience! We were welcomed by gracious hosts in a beautiful home above the Bay with breathtaking sunset views of Sorrento. Surrounded by olive groves and lemon trees, the setting felt like a hidden paradise. The outdoor kitchen was the perfect backdrop for the cooking class. The dishes were delicious and authentic, and each course was paired with exceptional wines selected by Vittoria from her mother’s own vineyard! Even the olive oil that was served with the bread was from their own olive grove. Amazing food, outstanding wine, spectacular views, and warm hospitality made this a truly memorable evening. One of the highlights of our trip, and an experience we highly recommend!
If you're looking for an authentic Italian cooking class in a beautiful setting, this is the one! Vittoria is the real deal. She is incredibly knowledgeable, dedicated, and passionate about what she does, and you can feel that passion in every step of the experience as she explains her techniques and shares her love of Italian cooking. We made fettuccine, ravioli, and tiramisu completely from scratch using simple, fresh ingredients, and everything tasted amazing! Each participant prepares their own dishes, and Vittoria has all of the ingredients perfectly measured and organized before the class begins, making the experience fun, easy, and hands-on. The class takes place at her family's beautiful home, surrounded by lemon and olive trees, creating the perfect Italian atmosphere. Her lovely mother helped with the cooking, making us feel like guests welcomed into their home. This was one of the highlights of our trip to Sorrento. I would absolutely take this class again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a genuine and memorable Italian cooking experience. 🇮🇹🍋🍝
This was such a lovely and intimate experience with Vittoria and her colleague. She guided and helped us as needed while providing a friendly and warm environment.
This experience was truly the highlight of our honeymoon! We wanted to take a cooking class, but wanted more of a personable, authentic feel rather than a class in a store in the middle of the city. This was absolutely perfect. The atmosphere and views were incredible, being surrounded by so many olive and lemon trees with views of the sea. We learned how to make pasta, which I am so excited to make at home! We also made tiramisu, an Italian classic! We got to enjoy the sunset views for a little bit and then we ate our masterpieces. Each dish was paired with wine made from the host’s family winery, which was also just incredible! Not only were the dishes and wine absolutely amazing, but our host and chef were so friendly and welcoming, making our experience even more memorable. If we could tell everyone we know to sign up for this class, we would!
What an amazing and authentically Italian experience. The setting is unreal. On a high mountain overlooking the incredible Sorrento coastline. We were a group of 4 paired with another group from Taiwan. We made fast friends and all had an incredible time. Vittoria was incredibly patient and willing to help make sure we had a great time and prepared awesome food. We started making ravioli and fresh pasta and ended with making delicious tiramisu. What a great host, location, meal and wine pairing. Everything was 100% perfecto. Both groups left with full stomachs and an amazing experience. When in Sorrento give it a try. You will love it.
We had such a lovely time at this cooking class and wine tasting! The wine and food were incredible, the lemon grove and property were beautiful, and Vittoria was so kind and hospitable. The only people in the class were the three of us in our group, so it was a very personalized experience. We got the recipes after the class, and I feel like I can now make fresh pasta and tiramisu at home. Vittoria also shared all the pictures she took after the class. Would definitely recommend!
Absolutely fantastic experience! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Sorrento. Vittoria & her mom were an incredible hosts, so knowledgeable and friendly welcoming us into their home. Our class only had 4 people on which made the entire experience so much more special! The food was fantastic and so simple to make with Vittorias instructions. For what we received (service & food/drinks) the experience was well worth the money!
My wife and I attended the pasta and tiramisu cooking class last night. We had an overall amazing experience. Victoria picked us up in downtown Sorrento and drove us to her family’s villa, in a stunning location complete with olive trees and lemon trees, and overlooking a breathtaking view of the bay. Vittoria led us through the step-by-step process of cooking fresh fettuccine and ravioli pasta as well as homemade tiramisu. It was the first time my wife or I had ever cooked any of these items and it was completely enjoyable from start to finish . Then we got to enjoy eating the results of our labor, paired with wine from Vittoria’s family’s vineyard. And since it was such a small group - only four people in all - it was a perfect intimate Italian experience, the highlight of our week in Italy. Would strongly recommend.
This was an absolutely must do!! A highlight of our italian sorrento adventure. Right away we were greeted with a glass of champagne and taught to make tagliatelle and ravioli. It was a charming experience and would highly recommend if you’re interested in a small group cooking class!
We had a FANTASTIC time at this cooking class! Everything felt extremely authentic, they picked us up and dropped us off, the hosts were SO much fun, the supper and class was incredible, we got to watch the sunset and there was bubbly when we arrived. Vittoria was hilarious, inviting, educational and an all around great person. So much so that we felt like friends when we left, we even hugged! We are SO happy we booked this class and it’s so cool that the food you make is paired with the wine ALSO made from their family vineyard, the olive oil is made from the trees right in her yard from her friend who was also there to help and take photos. There was music playing the whole time and the setting was intimate but you’re also in an outdoor kitchen, it’s just so cool. You also go home with the recipes you created that night and a certificate! Overall, incredible experience. Do not miss out on this one!!
We loved this experience! Vittoria picked us up from our hotel, drove us to her family’s charming villa, and made us feel so welcome. Learning her family’s recipes in the original outdoor cooking space that she herself learned from her grandma made the experience that much more authentic and lovely. Vittoria is a treasure, patient teacher & a joy to visit with. I especially appreciated how her helper, Rafaella, took the time to photograph our process of learning so that we will have these memories to look back on. The bonus was wine pairings as the sun set from Vittoria’s mother’s vineyard, and being able to meet & visit with her. I cant rate this cooking class high enough. We highly recommend Casa Fiorita.
This was such an amazing class! First off, the location was stunning. It took place at a gorgeous Mediterranean style home set on a property with several olive, lemon, and orange trees. Our hosts greeted us with water, prosecco, and cheese and showed us around the property. The class was intimate and we learned so much. We learned how to make tiramisu, ravioli, and fettuccine. When eating our meal, our host paired each item with a specific wine and explained the reasoning behind each. It was awesome learning from a sommelier. The meal was delicious!! Overall, it was an incredible experience and would recommend it to anyone wanting an intimate pasta making experience!
Our group had an incredible time with Vittoria and her mother. The property, cooking class, food, and wine pairings were all outstanding. It was clear that they put significant care and thought into this program. It will absolutely be one of the most memorable experiences on our trip to Italy. Thank you again for a magical evening!!
Absolutely one of the best experiences we had in Italy. Vittoria and her mother were so welcoming and lovely from start to finish. The property is absolutely stunning with an amazing view. The food was so good and it was so fun learning to make homemade pasta and tiramisu. Vittoria very carefully thought out the wine pairings with each meal and it was all delicious. Highly highly recommend!
This was an experience that’s genuinely unforgettable! The cooking class and wine pairing by the sea was absolutely fantastic and, quite honestly, not to be missed. From the moment we arrived, the setting set the tone—stunning scenery, a spectacular coastal backdrop, and an intimate atmosphere made the whole experience feel very special. Vittoria, the host and chef, was the heart of it all. She was incredibly warm, friendly, and welcoming, had a perfect balance between professional and personal. She made us feel at ease while sharing her expertise, and her recipes were easily some of the best-tasting dishes we had during our time in Italy—authentic, fresh, and full of flavour. My husband doesn't cook but he’s now wanting to buy a pasta maker! The wine pairing elevated everything even further, thoughtfully curated and perfectly matched to each dish. Combined with the sea views and relaxed pace, it created a truly immersive and memorable experience. If you’re anywhere near Sorrento, this is one of those rare activities that lives up to—and exceeds—the hype.
Vittoria and her mother are wonderful people! The class, the wine and the food are amazing and the villa grounds are gorgeous and have amazing views of the sea! Well worth it!!
The host Vittoria opens her lovely home which is nestled in the hills of Sorrento and offers a breath taking view of the sea, Casa Foirita, to guests enrolled in this fun course. She offers an Apero comprised of a local product (in our case cheese) and a Prosecco from region (they were out of this years Prosecco produced by her family). Dessert (Tiramisu) & Pasta making was organized, easy and fun to do, something different from eating out at another restaurant… Vittoria and her helper are kind and good humored. Wine pairrings with the three courses were informative and yummy. All three wines were produced from grapes local to the region at Vittoria’s family vineyard outside of Naples. Casa Foirita is a gorgeous Villa from the 1700s. Since we went in winter we were inside. In warmer weather, she gives the class outside on a lovely terrace over looking the olive trees. The olive oil produced at Casa Foirita is also delicious (regret not asking if we could buy a can as souvenir). Looking for something different to do with your group of travelers in Sorrento area - join Vittoria - you won’t be disappointed!
Vittoria and her mother are so amazing. We stayed in the villa and booked our cooking class with them. Such a fantastic experience and absolutely amazing food and wine!
We had a lovely experience! Vittoria was communicative, informative, and a thoughtful host. We had an easy time arriving to the location, were able to park, and enjoyed the beauty of her property and the views. The environment is spectacular, and we did all the cooking promptly within the first ninety minutes. The food and wine were incredible
Traveling to Italy has been at the top of my bucket list for YEARS. Taking an evening to learn and cook in a real family home (not a restaurant, school, or hotel) was an absolute must for me. Vittoria delivered just that, and so much more. It felt like magic being able to make family recipes in an outdoor kitchen in a villa built in the 1800s, surrounded by lemon trees and views of the Mediterranean Sea. We had some of the best meals while in Italy, but nothing compared to the flavor, heart, and soul of what we made that day. I can't wait to recreate and share these dishes at home. If you ever find yourself in the Amalfi Coast: book this class. You'll leave with more than a recipe. You'll leave with a memory that you get to carry with you forever.
We had the most amazing experience with Vittoria learning how to make tagliatelle, ravioli and tiramisu from scratch. The setting was absolutely stunning at her family villa dating back to the 1800s! Beautiful grounds and stunning view from the terrace of the Gulf of Naples. The class took place in the lovely outdoor kitchen area. We lucked out that we were the only ones booked on that day so had a really personal experience which was really special. The chef kindly cooked our pasta while we got to explore the grounds. While eating the pasta and tiramisu we made, Vittoria talked us through a selection of excellent wines from her family vineyard to go with each course. The pick up point from outside the hospital was easy to find and Vittoria picked us up and dropped us back so was very straight forward. The afternoon was everything we hoped it would be and more. We would definitely book again in the future and highly recommend to everyone.

Forget any restaurant cooking class - go to the beautiful villa Casa Florida! with amazing views away from the crowds of nearby Sorrento. A stunning garden and fabulous kitchen setting.. Vik and Linda were the delightful - pairing unforgettable locally produced wine (that you can buy!) and pasta that you create with their helpful guidance. Then you enjoy the meal with wine and end with tiramisu that is created at the beginning of the day. We will never forget this culinary experience.
