Small Group Tour Of Capri & Blue Grotto From Naples And Sorrento

The tour with Vincenzo was the absolute best!!!! My sister in law recommended the trip to me a year ago, she couldn’t say enough about her great experience with Alberto. Our tour with Vincenzo was also perfect. We avoided long lines, saw so much and were pleasantly surprised when we actually were one of the few to get into the blue Gratto. The colors were amazing!!! One person in our group was afraid of heights, so Vincenzo stayed with her as the remaining members of our group took the chair lift to the top of Montesano Anna Capri. Vincenzo appeared to know everyone on the island and they all welcomed us as his guests, or family as he often referred us as. Lunch was at a restaurant with spectacular views of the marina and sea. Again, Vincenzo didn’t disappoint us, the food was great and the owners welcomed us with open arms. I can continue this forever sharing such a great experience. It’s a great tour and you won’t be disappointed!

This was absolutely the best trip! Well worth it! Ana Maria was knowledgeable and created the most memorable experience! We had limited wait time at all activities and she even added an optional boat tour around the island. Would highly recommend this day trip to anyone looking to explore Capri.

The true guide was great . But it was rushed we didn’t get to go into the blue grotto. As it was closed. And our trip was cut short by an houwiujd had lived more time in capri and Anna capri

The trip was amazing because the staff was so helpful and supportive and you could feel their pride in their country. We had a mechanical issue with our boat so we lost an hour, however Francesco was such an amazing host that we didn’t realize it. The sights and experience was a once in a lifetime opportunity!

Excellent tour of Capri! Our guide, Luigi, was very personable and knowledgeable. The weather was perfect so we were able to go in the Blue Grotto. I thought it would be chilly in April with temperatures only in the high 60’s and by the water, but the Mediterranean sun is hot and it felt much warmer. Most in the group were also interested in doing a boat ride around the island, so Luigi was able to get us first in line for the next boat going out so that we could get good seats. Price was an extra $25 euros per person, and worth every bit. We had difficulty finding the meeting point. The lift wasn’t running, and a set of stairs by our hotel was closed for some reason, so we had to find another way down. Allow plenty of time to find the meeting spot if you’re coming from the top of the cliff, and wear comfortable shoes because there’s a lot of walking to explore Capri. I definitely recommend seeing Capri while in Sorrento!

Although the joining instructions could have been clearer (booked via Viator, tour by Cioffi Tours), the rest of the tour was absolutely amazing. Our guide Tiziana was fantastic, fun and a brilliant host. Tiziana ensured we got the best out of our tour by getting us to our locations on time and also collecting us at exactly the given pick-up times. Our visit to the Blue Grotto was spot on. We managed to be among the first groups to arrive therefore not having to queue (it is not uncommon to queue for 40 minutes. High season queuing times could go beyond !!!!). Unfortunately the peaks of Anacapri were in cloud so the ski lift ride to the top was not advised due to no visibility. An additional trip was organised which consisted of a boat trip around Capri visiting the other grottos and landmarks. Again full marks and thanks to Tiziana . Altogether a very enjoyable day out with a small friendly group and excellent host.

It was a very good tour. The guide Michele gave us a. Good tour of Ana Capri and Capri. The time was good enough for us to get a good feel of the island. Our guide was knowledgeable amd had a good sense of humor

Our tour guide was amazing and kept the group moving. We took a small boat around Capri because the sea was too rough, and we couldn’t go to the Blue Grotto. Just as fun and the people welcomed us. Great tour of Capri Definitely would recommend this tour! Five Stars ❤️❤️❤️

It was a last minute booking for us but We enjoyed every minutes of it. Michèle was ressource good and thoughtful. We had a really nice Day and he played a major part in it. Everything was clear, well coordonated and interesting. He was Even funny sometimes doing jokes while he was explaining to keep us thrilled for the following. We met at the port in Naples. Our guide Giorgio (a Caprisian) was very easy to find and very friendly. He gave us stickers with his name on it so as to not get lost. He gave us tips when boarding the ferry as to where to sit when to stand to be first off and what to do if we felt we needed to "feed the fish." Once we arrived on the island of Capri and borded a bus, he was very knowledgeable and gave us great info and the history of the island. We started up at Anacapri Giorgio gave us great insight on what to do and see, and we had enough time to do the chair lift, the shopping village, and get a quick bit to eat before we met back up with Giorgio. Once back on the bus, we headed to Capri town. Again, Giorgio gave us good info and directions on stuff to see/do. We had plenty of time to look around the shops, get a drink and a gelati. We found out (already knew) that the sea was too rough to get into the Blue Grotto. We instead did a boat tour around the island and were able to get close to some very special spots. We saw far more of the island than what we anticipated. Giorgio had the microphone on the bus and continued to give us the knowledge and secrets of what we saw around the perimeter of the island. It was a very good day. We were able to see more than we anticipated. Our guide Giorgio was excellent, and we would highly recommend this tour. We wish we had Giorgio on some of our other tours!

We had a wonderful day in Capri, Ana CApri and the Blue Grotto. Our guide Theresa was great. We had plenty of time for lunch and shopping and even took a private boat tour around the island. Would definitely recommend.

This tour was amazing! We were thoroughly satisfied with the service; they're very clear and efficient in order to ensure a timely and enjoyable experience at the grotto. They's also extremely accommodating and helpful, we were on a cruise and they made sure we left earlier as to not miss our boarding time. Would totally recommend!

This day trip was fantastic! Paola was a PHENOMENAL guide who went out of her way to make our day absolutely perfect!! We were able to see the magnificent Blue Grotto, get the chair lift with no wait and capped off the day with a private boat tour around the island. Adequate time for shopping and enjoying all the views along the way. Absolutely perfect day

Marcella organized everything perfectly so that we could get into the Grotto, take the chair lift, walk around town, and go on an extra boat tour around Capri - all without waiting! I would recommend everyone to do Capri this way!

We absolutely loved this trip. Our arrival and ferry guide Serena, was great and got all of us to our day guide, Teresa. Teresa was all you could ask for in a tour guide. She gave great briefings as to what to expect, as well as telling us about the history, geology, and nature of Capri. The Blue Grotto did not disappoint. The restaurant Teresa suggested was excellent. The floor of the museum church on Anacapri was a delight. We then toured Capri town and ended up on the optional boat trip. It was a wonderful cruise around the island.

We have been on several tours but this one was definitely the best! Capri is a beautiful island and the tour is organized to have free time but also to follow the guide (especially for the Blue Grotto). My favorite part? The chairlift!! Even though there was a line, our guide (I don't remember her name) managed to get us through without waiting a second! I strongly suggest this tour!!

Our guide, Marcella, was incredible. She managed to get us to the Blue Grotto before the crowds, she explained to us everything, even show us a good restaurant. We really enjoyed everything! If you are in doubt, I suggest you to take this tour!!

Alberto went above and beyond in every way. He graciously accommodated a friend with MS, helped us find a great spot for lunch, and skillfully adjusted the itinerary to ensure we made it to the Blue Grotto despite challenging sea and weather conditions. He even treated us to the most breathtaking views from the chairlift in Anacapri. One of the most magical moments was when he sang a beautiful song for us inside the grotto—an experience none of us will ever forget. Capri will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all 22 of us. Molto grazie, Alberto!

This was by far the best experience my husband and I have ever done together. Not only was Angela and Luigi welcoming as if we were their own family, but the hospitality and service provided to us was exceptional. Don’t even bother looking at other tours. This is hands-down, the best one out there.

The time spent in the town was great! The tour around the island was beautiful. We were sad we didn’t get to do the Blue Grotto because of weather conditions.

Fantastic tour!!!! If I could give our guide Alberto 15 stars I would!!!! He took pictures all day of the group shared them with us on the ferry home. He was like a mother hen making sure everyone was safe happy and having a wonderful time!!!!

First and foremost, our tour guide, Michele, we would like to say thank you! Without him, we would not have been able to do the main things that we visited Capri to do-Go in the Blue Grotto, Ride the chairlift to the top and have a nice lunch. He was always ahead of the game in getting us on and off the ferries and busses so that we could get through the crowds efficiently. It seemed that he had wonderful connections with everyone on the island so that he could make special arrangements and accommodate us under the crowded circumstances. Thanks to Michele's strong determination and efforts all day long to make us happy, we did everything we wanted to do on the island during the tour. Without Michele's support, no doubt...we could not even do half of what we did on that day! Gracie Michele!

Spectacular trip to Capri. Our guide was excellent and the views were amazing. Anacapri was our favorite spot and the boat ride around the island was breathtaking.

Marcella was a fantastic guide! She ensured that we arrived at the blue grotto as early as possible, and we were able to experience it unlike many other tours. She was very knowledgeable told us about the area and had great energy! The tour of Capri couldn’t have gone better from seeing the amazing blue grotto to visiting Ann Capri, and then Capri. It was a great day all the way around!

Not worth it, I feel all these tour use the blue grotto to bait people. It was extremely hectic the guide did the best they could but not worth taking my entire day, I really wish we didn’t do this your and just explored on our own it would have been more fun. Everything was rushed, if we got a drink or a snack it seemed to be an issue like we were making them “late” when the busses and boats were never on time. Super disappointed.

Luigi was our guide and did a great job showing us around Capri and Anacapri. The weather was unpredictable and we ended up rained out, unable to see the Blue Grotto but then the sun came out and we were able to see Capri without the usual crowds. The grottos and caves we saw on our boat ride were just as beautiful as the Blue Grotto so don’t be disappointed if it happens to be closed. Highly recommend this tour.

We had a wonderful day on the island of Capri with Marcella as our guide. She was so thoughtful, funny, and had lots of knowledge to share with us about the island. She and our bus driver, who was amazing at navigating the road, seemed to really love their jobs and passed that on as giving us the best tour experience. The island is beautiful, the grotto experience is memorable. I would definitely recommend!

We were originally assigned another group with a different leader. However, because we were on a cruise ship, we needed to leave at an earlier time than that group had planned. Serena and the other group's leader modified the day's schedule so that we could join her group and still make it back to our ship on time. Thus, they were accommodating for us schedule. **Note to cruises: Plan at least 60 minutes for the Ferry ride, as we would not have made it back to our ship by 5:30 if we took the 4:30 Ferry. Serena's tour was in Spanish, and since we speak English, she did her best to give the tour in both English and Spanish in order to meet our needs. We really appreciated her efforts with this. While we were sad not to be able to do the Blue Grotto since the conditions did not allow, the boat tour around the island exceeded our expectations. During our "free time" on the island, we took the chairlift to the top of the mountain, and this ended up being one of the highlights of our entire trip to Europe. Overall, we had a wonderful day with Serena on the Island of Capri!

Our original tour was canceled with a totally different tour company due to a problem with the boat. That left us scrambling trying to find a different tour and Viator helped us find one. We lucked out! The meeting point was easy to find. Our guide Luigi was awesome, he made sure to have different plans in order in case we couldn’t get in the blue grotto. With some luck the grotto was open and Luigi made sure we were one of the first tours in because we were not sure if it would stay open. We fit so much into the day, we took the chairlift to the top, drove to Anacapri and Capris, boat tour around the island and of course visited the famous Blue Grotto. I was originally very disappointed our first tour was canceled but now I’m glad it was because this tour is a must!!! Luigi is the best!!! Book now!!’

Luigi was amazing! My husband and I were about eight minutes late due to traffic. Luigi waited for us! He was a great host the entire day and took care of the entire group!! He was top notch!!!

Great day - Alexandra was a great guide - had a good plan for the day which she shared at the start of the day and we managed to get the grotto and a boat tour. Some of our group had restricted mobility which she considered and explained if she thought she needed to.

Our tour guide, Sarina, was absolutely amazing. She expertly timed and organized van rides, boat rides, ferry so we were able to enjoy a little of everything. She gained us extra time by getting us to the front of the line for our the lift to the top (when we used euros vs. credit card), and gave us history on the entire tour. She was polite and lots of fun. What a gem of a person!

After an initial snafu (when our original tour guide left the Capri port without us), we had to call Viator and then we were assigned to another guide, Sarena. This took about an hour and caused a great deal of frustration and angst. However, Sarena saved the day and did an amazing job with the tour. She even took pictures of us and sent it to us after the tour.
