Shared Sunset Boat Cruise With Aperitif On Sorrento Or Positano

It is advertised as a 2 hour sunset tour. But it was done in 1 hour. They didn’t take to places the description said like the Roman ruins. And the sunset was behind the mountain instead of the horizon. We were disappointed- it is not a value for money. Capt Fabrizio was great.

We really enjoyed our sunset boat cruise along the coast of Sorrento. Our captain Raphael was so fun, provided lots of information about the coast and some of the associated folklore. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a fun evening on the water with beautiful views!

An amazing sunset cruise. The captain was great - very informative, funny, and personable. He was catering towards our needs and answered any questions we had. Allowed us to have full control of the itinerary and I would 100% recommend.

We had an enjoyable boat trip, largely thanks to the beautiful, calm evening and gorgeous sunset. Raphael, the skipper, also provided some interesting information throughout the trip. However, the experience did not match the Trip Advisor description. The communication beforehand was poor. Our trip was booked for 6pm, but at 11am on the day, we received a WhatsApp message advising us that the departure time had changed to 5.30pm. As we were on a full-day excursion, I didn’t see the message. Fortunately, we arrived at the port early and were able to join the group at 5.45pm. There was a queue of boats waiting to enter the port, so we didn’t actually depart until 6.10pm. Despite being advertised as a two-hour cruise, we were back in port by 7.40pm. It was also advertised as a cruise with an aperitif, including snacks, prosecco and limoncello, and featured photos of people enjoying drinks in wine glasses. In reality, we were only offered a choice of bottled water, a can of Coke or a beer, and this was around halfway through the cruise. The snacks consisted of just a few packets of crisps. We have been on a considerable number of boat trips, and unfortunately, this was by far the weakest experience. While the sunset was beautiful and Raphael was informative, the poor communication, shorter-than-advertised trip and significant difference between what was promised and what was delivered were disappointing.

Beautiful experience sunset. Tour was fun and recommend the boat ride. My husband enjoyed the water also the Italian beer was a plus. We had at first some clouds but then it cleared to a beautiful sunset.

We paid €120 for this tour and expected a premium experience. Our original departure was 6pm, but the company messaged us only about five hours beforehand and changed it to 5:30pm, forcing us to rearrange our plans. During the tour, the person we understood to be the guide disappeared and we were left with just a driver and almost no commentary or explanation. The worst part was what happened afterward. When we complained, they simply denied the issue and kept telling us the tour was originally at 6pm, completely ignoring the fact that THEY changed it to 5:30pm. I have the messages proving this. Mistakes can happen. Denying what happened and treating a genuine complaint like a joke is unacceptable. Definitely not the premium experience we paid for. Would not recommend.

Thank you for an incredible experience Federica and Antonio! An amazing and special day that me and my partner will not forget! Halfway through the tour (which had amazing views) a member of the other group on the boat with us became unwell and we had to return to port. We were worried that would be the end of the tour, however Federica and Antonio told us we could still continue! We got to experience a truly special sunset, swim in the ocean and even witness a boat parade and see some fireworks! Amazingly special, thank you again!

We shared our tour with 1 other couple and it was excellent, Leonardo our skipper was brilliant, very knowledgable, courteous and willing to adapt to suit our needs, toured the towns of Sorrento and then towards the sunset where we had 40 mins to swim in the med before the sunset, drinks and snacks provided. Could have been better when we first arrived but once on the boat that was forgotten

It’s a very slow paced activity if you want something relaxing, a good way to see the Sorrento coast in the beautiful sunset. The best part for my partner and I was swimming in one of the bays so bring Swimmers. The description did say light snacks included within the price unfortunately we weren’t offered any just a couple of drinks.

Our boat operator was very knowledgeable & friendly, asking questions & answering hours. The tour was meant to be up to 12 people but there were 4 of us in total so a nearly private tour! It was a very windy & choppy day which wasn't so great for my other half, but that's a reflection on his sea legs not the tour!

Great experience to go up and down the amalfi coast at sunset. We only had 4 people on our boat so it felt like a private tour. Great knowledgeable guide, prosecco and snacks were great

We had a wonderful time on our Sunset Cruise. Our captain was Rafael who was very knowledgeable about the areas he took us to. Unfortunately for us we got caught in a thunderstorm but this actually an exciting event and Rafael was very composed and made everyone on board feel at ease. We probably didn’t get to do and see everything we could have due to the storm but we had an enjoyable trip nonetheless.

Things started off on the wrong foot when we were told to be there at 5:30, but we didn’t end up leaving until 7:00. The water was also very choppy, though that was beyond their control. Once we were out on the boat and cruising, however, the views were stunning and a beautiful sunset, the experience was very enjoyable overall.

We booked this the day we went, the staff was very responsive with arranging our trip. Our skipper, Ronaldo, was delightful. He has a good knowledge of the area.

Renato, our captain, was wonderful. He's warm, knowledgeable funny and clearly loves Sorrento. There were 3 couples on our tour. None of us knew the other couples, but Renato made it comfortable and it felt like we were with friends. We were provided with drinks and snacks. Like a cocktail party on the water. The views of the coast and the sunset were breathtaking. The water so deep blue and clear. While we were stopped for a moment we were even able to see fish. I highly recommend this tour and suggest that you ask to book with Renato.

best experience! so worth the money for a lovely sunset cruise on a beautiful boat. we picked the right day to go, it was clear and beautiful, the view of Capri next to the sunset was unbelievable. little bit of prosecco and a lovely captain made it all the better! could not recommend more!

This sunset trip was so beautiful and the tour guide gave some history on the island of Sorrento as well. The sea was extremely choppy, and he managed to make it as comfortable as he could even though it was a tough night to be out. He got us in the perfect spot to watch the sunset and get great pictures with the islands in the backgrounds and just as it was setting the full moon was coming up over sorrento. It was the most perfect evening and we all enjoyed it so much. I appreciated the fact that the tour happened. Yes it was a bit choppy and bumpy, but being in Sorrento for only a couple days I had already had multiple tours canceled due to weather. One was a walking tour canceled due to rain (it had quit raining hours before the tour by the way) so while I actually understood the water situation another company had canceled earlier that day for a sunset tour-so I was extremely thankful to have one at all. This was an awesome sunset cruise and they don’t cancel like a lot of others in my opinion.

We had a gorgeous sunset tour of Sorrento and the Amalfi coastline with Sorrento Sea Tours! We chose a semi-private tour with two other couples and had a wonderful time. The communication was clear, they adapted our tour time to maximize our sunset views, and the captain provided great historical tidbits about the sights we were seeing along the way. Our boat route was timed so that we got to see the sunset against the ocean horizon right beside Capri Island, and we also caught a simultaneous view of the Moonrise over Sorrento! We also had a chance to cruise along the coastline, including a visit to the historic Bagni Regina Giovanna cove site. It was a highlight of our time in Sorrento and we will remember it forever. Highly recommend the sunset boat tour to anyone else looking to soak in the best of what the Amalfi coast has to offer.

This was a great boat trip, really enjoyable. We had a great time swimming in the sea as the sun went down. The guide was very good and gave lots of information about different areas along the coast. Only reason for dropping a star is that we expected limoncello and snacks as well as prosecco / beer but these were not offered.

If you are in Sorrento you must do this exercise ❤️ it was great and the crew was welcoming! We are recommending you to do it for experienced Sorrento in the best way!!!!

Our Captain, Rafael was friendly and knowledgable with great English. The surprise serenade of That’s Amore was a nice touch. The boat was clean and had onboard amenities. Snack's and drinks were provided. The coastline was magnificent, the sunset amazing and the water magical! We would highly recommend this tour!

We chose a private sunset tour and I have to say it was one of the best experiences of our trip thus far. Giovanni was our guide and he was welcoming, very knowledgeable, and went out of his way to make sure we were having a good time. He told us all about the history of sorrento and his favorite places to eat, swim, visit, etc. He was able to easily navigate some pretty choppy water for us and made us feel very safe and comfortable! The snacks and drinks included were also very good. Can’t recommend this enough!

We had the most incredible evening sunset cruise! Vittorio was our guide and he was brilliant. He shared many interesting facts about the Sorrento coast and kept us entertained. His boat driving was brilliant and he showed us all the local spots along the coast line. Would highly recommend to everyone! One of the highlights of our trip.

The host brought along his girlfriend and her friend. He was busy kissing and carrying on with his girlfriend. He never asked if we were ok or offered refreshments except for Prosecco at end of trip. Unprofessional behaviour. MBS boat tours were better and very professionally done.

The staff is really lovely. They are located to the left, the last stall before the mini beach. The price is really great. I’d thought about a private boat but honestly we departed with only 6 people total and it was the next best thing. The Charter was really nice with a below deck cabin. You can also sit at the front of the boat if you’re brave enough. Guides were very informative of the area. You won’t regret it.

Wonderful tour! We had a lovely experience with our guide who showed us some key sights along the coast and getting us up close and personal with a waterfall! 😂 He picked the perfect spot to stop and float whilst watching the sunset with a glass of fizz and it was such a memorable experience. Worth every penny and I'd highly recommend to anyone considering a sunset boat trip!

Nice sunset but advertised as a two hour cruise up the coast whereas it was an hour and didn’t go that far. Twenty five minutes of that time we were stopped for photos. No explanation until queried, it is due to the nights drawing in, fine, but then advertise as an hour trip and don’t charge €75! We were all disappointed.

We found them online and booked a sunset trip via Whatsapp. The staff was really friendly, they let us swim, gave us a drink and we even had champagne at the sunset. The view was spectacular. Truly recommend this boat trip, it was the peak of our Amalfi coast experience.

Very friendly and communicative staff starting from the time I booked the tour. The setting was beautiful! Seeing Sorrento from the water along with the sunset was amazing. It was a 2 hour tour that turned out to be just enough for my husband and I. The water was alot choppier than we expected ( of course, not the fault of the boat ) We were offered drinks on board. The captain pointed out different sights along the way, but also gave us our own space to just enjoy. We stopped at la cascatella to take pictures and touch the "fountain of youth" waterfall from the rocks.

My husband and I booked a tour of the coast as part of our honeymoon. We absolutely loved our experience! Our skipper Tomas was very knowledgeable about the history and geography of the area. We were pleasantly surprised to be taken into some of the caves along the coast before we stopped for a swim. We ended our tour with a beautiful sunset and glass of Prosecco. Overall, an unforgettable experience!

Amazing Experience. Really Good, Worth the money! Our Captain was also Great. He showed us around the place in a very clam and easy way. We felt comfortable, safe and well-accommodated on the Yatch. The scenic view is just mesmerising and some chilled beer was a BONUS! Thanks :)

The views were amazing and the staff polite and informative however they tried to change the date and times multiple times and I feel this was falsely advertised as we were offered water and lemoncello, nothing else.

A sunset cruise that should have departed at 18:30 hours finally departed at 18:55 hours. Trip was supposed to be two hours but it returned after one hour and ten minutes. Total waste of money.

I’m glad we took this boat trip with Roberto. It was a great way to get a romantic time on the ocean. I proposed to my girlfriend and the skipper was so helpful and took great videos of the moment. He really made of feel so comfortable🙏 Thanks again!

This is a perfect way to see the Amalfi coast around Sorrento! We also got some history on the various historical buildings and sites from our captain Gabriele. The time on the water was a great way to cool off, but you may want to bring a light jacket along with your towel if you go swimming.

Didn't show up and no contact from the operator I had to contact TripAdvisor/Viator myself who were actually very helpful and got a refund within a day please do not book

Unfortunately the tour dis not start on time. It was over 30 min late and once we got on board nothing was offered as described besides one shot of limoncello.
