We used this service for a transfer from the Naples airport to our hotel in Sorrento. Great experience in all aspects. At the airport our driver met us at the arrivals door with a sign with our name on it. Car was a very clean and new Mercedes van. He pointed out various landmarks and sites along the drive and got us to our hotel quickly. Later we contacted them for a return trip from our hotel in Sorrento back to another hotel in Naples. The process was once again easy and we were picked up on time at our hotel with another smooth ride to Naples. Everyone I dealt with was great and I would definitely use them again.

Top notch service! Our driver Antonio was dressed in a nice suit and welcomed us at the airport in Naples. He drove us to Sorrento in a comfortable Mercedes mini van and pointed out some interesting facts about the area along the way. So much easier than navigating train stations with luggage! We were staying in a flat in town located on a pedestrian only street, so he parked at the end of the street and actually walked us all the way to our front door! It was unexpected and much appreciated. We enjoyed the service so much that we hired them again to take us back to Naples at the end of our trip.

Antonio and Barbara were great to deal with. Very nice couple and were very easy to deal with. They easily added a return transfer to Naples and Antonio was a great and helpful driver. I would absolutely use them again in our next trip to Sorrento.

Fantastic service ... on time, dependable, and extremely easy to work with. Our driver Francesco was awesome. Also, they were very accommodating ... we had an issue where our flight out of Naples was canceled shortly before our early morning pickup, and we were given several hours to find a hotel in Naples and have the transport switched to there instead. Highly recommended.

Upon reading great reviews, we contracted for a transfer from Naples to Sorrento. While in Sorrento we visited each day as they have a store in the main part of Sorrento. They helped us with tours in the area but really came through when there was a railway strike which disrupted our travel. They were able to drive us to our next destination. Barbara and Antonio treated us like family for which we are forever grateful. Their drivers and vehicles are top notch. Do not hesitate to utilize their services. Best company we used in Italy.

We had terrific service all around. The coordinator, Barbara, was extra courteous, quick to reply, and always reliable. Antonio was our driver and he was also terrific. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke impeccable English. We actually got off at the wrong train stop (Napoli Afragola instead of Napoli Centrale) and they quickly responded to our call and rerouted to where we were ( for a modest up-charge). They will be my first call on my next trip to the area. Marco was an outstanding driver and provided history and culture education on our trip from Naples to Pompei. He made arrangements for us to add a private tour of Pompei, and while he waited, he bought a case for my glasses, because he overheard me looking for my case, and realized I had lost it. We felt safe and comfortable with Marco all the way. We recommended Marco and The Amalfi Drivers.

Absolutely spectacular experience. Our tour guide was so kind to us! He had Great customer service skills! He arrived to the airport on time to pick us up. He was very east to find. He had our names printed on a sign. He allowed us to use the restrooms before our drive to Sorrento. He gave us a tour on our drive there too pointing out all of the landmarks etc. We will definitely book with him again on our ride back home this week.

We were delighted with this car service. The drivers were always waiting for us at the designated locations with a sign with our name. They were extremely helpful sharing a wealth of information on the area. On the return trip from Sorrento to the Naples train station, the driver even stopped for a granita di limone for me as I requested! He then waited at the train station while we went to the bathroom and guided us to our train. Wonderful service!

A comfortable, flexible and efficient service. We were delighted with our transfers which included waiting for us at Vesuvius and Pompeii, enabling us to visit these sights on the way to and from Naples and have our baggage looked after.

Fabio from Daytrip was incredible! He texted me the morning of our pickup and suggested we stop at a winery for lunch and a little relaxation. The winery was at the base of Mount Vesuvius and had a view of Sorrento and Capri. I’m so glad he suggested it, it was one of our trip highlights. The food, the atmosphere, the wine tasting g was so much fun. Such a great recommendation. I also appreciated how patient Fabio was given our one hour train delay …he was not concerned and made it all work. This was my first time using Daytrip but I will seek them out elsewhere ~ such a great experience and made getting from Naples to Sorrento so much more pleasant than transferring to a regional train then lugging our luggage through town to our hotel. That was fine in college but now it’s time to treat ourselves!

We have used this service twice while holidaying in Sorrento (from Naples airport to Sorrento and back). Comfortable, air conditioned Mercedes vans for the 7 of us. The drivers spoke English reasonable well, were very helpful and kind. Great service overall. Plus, I communicated with them via the Tripadvisor portal and they responded fast.

Super clean vans and drivers were courteous and spoke good English. They gave us some great recommendations on area. They really came through when we got off at wrong train stop.

Driver was waiting at train station with our name card and we walked just outside station to a beautiful vehicle and we were in Sorrento in about 50 minutes. His English was great as my Italian is terrible. Driver talked about regional highlights and was very proud of his country. Would definitely use service again.

We were pleased with the car service from the Naples Airport to our hotel in Sorrento. This is not a place for us to rent a car. The streets are very busy with motorists, buses and scooters. The vehicle was very clean and accommodated all of our luggage for our two week stay. I would use this service again.

Our driver was waiting for us at Naples Train Station when we arrived. He directed us to the restroom and waited with our bags. He helped bring our luggage to the car and blasted the AC for us on a very hot day. The drive down to Sorrento was very comfortable and he even gave us some history on the region as we arrived to Sorrento. One of the passengers accidentally left their phone behind in the car! We were able to walk down to the Astarita office in Sorrento and let them know. That day they checked the car when someone was available, let us know when they found the phone, and arranged for us to pick the phone up from them at the office the next day with no charge. For a situation like that they really went out of their way to take care of us. We appreciate it and would recommend this service to anyone needing a transfer in the Naples/Amalfi area!

We arranged an airport transfer with Astarita from Naples to Sorrento. It was simple to arrange on line and all the instructions were straightforward. When we arrived at Naples Airport we were met by an English speaking driver who gave us a mini guide to what we were seeing from the vehicle which made the journey more interesting. On the way he also rang our sons accommodation to see if it was available for them to save them another taxi ride later in the day. For the return journey, we asked for our sons to be collected from their accommodation rather than our hotel and this was not a problem. We were delighted with the service we received, the quality of the transport and the friendliness of our driver. We have no qualms about recommending Astarita to any travellers looking for a reliable and professional taxi service in the Naples area

Considering the safety of the local trains, this is an excellent way to get from Naples to Sorrento. Safe with friendly informative drivers

It was easy to arrange a transfer from the Naples train station to Pompeii, and then on to our hotel in Sorrento. Our driver Alessandro was polite, professional and punctual. The car was a very large Mercedes van with bottled water. Alessandro drove us to Pompeii where we met up with Celestina, our tour guide (also arranged through Astarita). We left our luggage in the car with Alessandro and Celestina took us on a two hour "highlight" tour of Pompeii. She was absolutely excellent. I can't imagine having a better guide. She was an expert on Pompeii. Then back to Alessandro who drove us to our hotel. Astarita was the only tour company I found who very easily accommodated this itinerary - other operations would only offer three or more hour tours of Pompeii. Also as we were traveling to Pompeii Alessandro noted we probably did not have to pay admission at Pompeii for our teenagers (which was included in the day's price). We took a quick trip to the ticket window with Celestina and when we arrived back at the van, Alessandro had adjusted the price of our tour to I believe thirty Euros less. We would never have known - very professional. We would have used them again for a tour of the Amalfi coast but they were booked so plan ahead!

My wife and I have used this company before so we knew what professional standards they employ and again were not disappointed. We have travelled to Sorrento many times before but our driver still managed to introduce us to new experiences and restaurants, a thoroughly engaging chap who made for a very enjoyable transfer.

My husband and I took a train into Naples and then needed to get into Sorrento. After much research we determined we didn't want to take the local trains into Sorrento due to the safety concerns. We used Astarita to get from the Airport to our Holiday let. The plane was late arriving by an hour, when we got through customs the driver was waiting for us. The trip back from Sorrento was exactly on time. The drivers were excellent, made progress but safely. The arrangements are easy to make and the firm very communicative in English.
