Private Tour: Amalfi Coast From Sorrento

Pasquale was our private driver for the day, picking us up right where we were staying in Vico Equense. He was personable, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable, making the entire day such a wonderful experience! Our first stop was Positano, where we enjoyed photo opportunities from both sides of town before exploring the charming markets and strolling down to the waterfront. It was absolutely beautiful! From there, we headed to Amalfi, where we took a 45-minute boat ride along the coast. This was definitely worth it! The views were spectacular, and we loved hearing the history of the area while passing other picturesque little villages along the way. Afterward, we explored Amalfi on foot and visited all the highlights. Our final destination was Ravello, but first, we stopped for lunch at Villa Giuseppe in Scala. The views of Ravello from there were incredible! After lunch, we wandered through Ravello’s lovely town square and explored the charming streets. To end our day, Pasquale drove us back to Vico Equense along the long, winding coastal road. The scenery was breathtaking, and there truly is no better way to take in the beauty of the Amalfi Coast. It was an unforgettable day, and having Pasquale as our driver made it even more special. Highly recommend!

We had the best trip to Positano and the Amalfi coast. It was a great decision to drive through. Mercedes Benz van was a great ride and Allessandro was a fantastic driver and guide. We spent 2 hours in each location and the total tour was around 7 hours. Total was €180 for 2 people.

My family and I would definitely do this tour again and highly recommend to anyone visiting the Almafi. This experience would not have been the same with out our great tour guide, Alessandro! He was super friendly, very funny and very knowledgeable about the area. Next time we are in the Almafi we will request Alessandro to guide us!

This tour advertised an English speaking guide on our trip to Positano and Amalfi. We paid on the basis of "official tour leader on board". There were eight English speaking tourists on the tour and our driver didn't speak a word of English. This was our official guide, therefore we had no guided tour. Nothing more than an expensive taxi journey to the two towns. This was a most disappointing trip and for the 7 hour day we had no communication or any local information or key landmarks pointed out us.

Francesco was great but Communications with driver caused delays. Car door handle fell off…another delay in your to fix

It was amazing!!!! The boat and the captain were 10+ The captain was also an awesome guide, very good english, explained everything, very acomodating. We saw everything, every rock, grotta, beach, we swam in beautiful places. Im out of words honestly. Amalfi coast is amazing. If we ever come to italy, we will do it again

We enjoyed our tour with our guide and saw a great deal in the time allowed. Amalfi, Positano and Ravello were all interesting but we’d have loved more time in Ravello without the storm!! Recommended

Had a wonderful trip along the Amalfi Coast last week in a semi private tour. 6 of us in a superb Mercedes people carrier. Our driver was utterly superb, articulate, witty, very knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble to him. Very sensible driving given the other mad people who use the roads in this area. Felt safe and comfortable at all times. We saw everything, a pleasant lunch and loads of photo opportunities. Cannot recommend this highly enough, especially with the driver we had (wish I could remember his name, Nifin or something like that - sorry)

Just had a wonderful day on the last minute Amalfi coast tour with our young children. Our guide Marco was very knowledgeable and interesting. The view stops on the way there were breathtaking. This was definitely a much more convenient way to see the Amalfi coast than the overcrowded Sita buses well worth the price. We also did the boat tour from Amalfi for an extra 12e and it was well worth the extra money. Highly recommended this tour.

One word: AWESOME! Our guide, Nino, was fantastic....not only was our tour interesting and informative but so much FUN! Nino stopped on several occasions to point out interesting places and things that were off the beaten path that only a local would know of. This tour was one of the highlights of our trip. <p>It was an easy way to visit the Amalfi Coast but I thought the guide would be accompanying us to give details about the sites. We also had to wait for him to show up at 2 of the meeting points as he was picking up other fares, this should not have happened.</p>

Beautiful experience! Our driver Michele was truly very kind, super helpful, and very nice. During the trip, he had us stop at the most scenic spots to allow us to take photos and enjoy the Coast to the fullest. He accompanied us to Amalfi and also gave us an excellent piece of advice: take the ferry to do the boat tour of the Coast. Given the presence of foreign tourists he explained the entire tour in both Italian and English. Me and 5 other guys took part in the guided tour of the Amalfi coast together with the guide Luisa and Ciro 7 coastal. We had a great time. Well organized excursion. Very helpful staff. I highly recommend it
