We can't say enough about our experience with Sarah and Domenico! Their service was excellent. Domenico is a very careful and safe driver. We always felt very comfortable for our safety when he drove. He was very accommodating when we had certain requests of where we wanted to go. Sarah was very responsive and answered any questions. The communication was great. Domenico is a very personable person and enjoyed his company throughout our tour!

We had an awesome day travelling thru the Amalfi with Luigi our guide who was awesome and knowledgeable on the area given he's a lifelong resident it's a must do for people visiting the area.

What an amazing day! We booked APTours from Salerno to visit Positano and Amalfi, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. Our driver, Mario, was fantastic — incredibly friendly, punctual, and attentive throughout the entire day. From the moment we met him, we felt completely at ease and knew we were in good hands. One of the best parts of the day was actually Mario’s recommendation. He suggested that we stop at the Emerald Grotto, and we are so glad we listened to him! It was absolutely beautiful and ended up being one of our favorite experiences of the entire day. Since we were visiting from a cruise ship, getting back to Salerno on time was very important to us. Our guide, Dom, was excellent and organised the schedule around what we wanted to see and do. He was very prompt and extremely polite and respectful. His driving was fantastic and very safe. The Amalfi coast is spectacular and we really enjoyed spending time in Ravello as well as Amalfi and Positano.

We booked our private transfer with Sarah from APTours. Sarah has always been so wonderful to work with. She is very timely and helpful when scheduling. We have used APTours ~ 7 out of the 8 times we’ve traveled to Italy. I normally just tell her what we would like and she puts it together for us. She’s just the best! She scheduled us with Mario. He was a wonderful driver. Very friendly and knowledgeable. We really liked what a safe driver he was and how he gave us several suggestions for things to do/ eat in the area. He stopped on the way to Positano a cpl times for us to get some lemon ice and lemoncello, photos and to just enjoy the views down below. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better than Sarah and Mario. We highly suggest using them for private a transfers and tours!

Alessandro was a great driver/tour guide today. He was flexible and offered suggestions. We stopped in Positano, drove through Amalfi (we opted not to stop so that we could spend more time in Ravello) and stopped in Ravello. We got to stop and take some beautiful pictures along the way, see the Emerald grotto, wander through Rufolo gardens, and have an amazing lunch in Scala all at Alessandro’s suggestions. We thoroughly enjoyed our day!

Having seen Pompeii previously we wanted to see Hercaleum and parts of Amalfi coast. Our cruise ship landed in Amalfi port and Sarah scheduled us a wonderful tour of the site and Ravello. She was wonderful and nothing we asked was too much.The driver provided Luigi was a treasure and a fountain of information. Sarah arranged a guide for the site and everything went well. She was always in touch with planning this tour which was very affordable and got us back to cruise ship in ample time. Later I had a few health issues and Sarah stayed in touch and recommended transportation for the remainder of our vacation. She even checked on me after we got home. I heartily recommend Sarah and AP TOURS. very professional and compassionate. You will not be disappointed if you book this agency. A great tour of the Amalfi coast and its sites.

Was a very good excursion -- this was the experience we were hoping for -- just the two of us and one driver to do the hard part Luigi was our driver-- very fun to spend the day with him and he personalized the trip for us.

We recently took a Private Amalfi Coast Tour from Salerno. Our driver Marco was excellent and he took us to Ravello, Amalfi and Positano. He also took us to a fantastic restaurant where we enjoyed a great lunch with a beautiful view of the sea. AP Tours are top notch. We truly enjoyed our day with Domenico with APTours. He was our private driver for the day did the Almafi Coast from Naples. He was a pleasure. Ontime. Domenico was great! Our van was very comfortable and the scenery amazing. Overall, a relaxing and beautiful way to spend a day. Even the teenagers with jet lag enjoyed it.

Alberto was an excellent driver and guide. He had us laughing and entertained at every turn, and quickly got to know who we were and what we wanted most to experience. He showed us many beautiful sites and hidden gems. Having lived in the area all his life, Alberto knew much of the fun details of the area. All of his suggestions helped us greatly. Positano was fun, Amalfi was crowded and could have been skipped, and Ravello was the best with great food and beautiful gardens. Alberto pointed us to the best spots all along the way.

It was a great trip, and there wasn’t any problems no problem at all. Our driver, Angelo, was super nice, friendly, funny, and very helpful. He gave us lots of tips, and he also gave us historical information. It was fun having him as our driver, as it was totally worth the cost. 100% recommended!!

Fantastic day with Alberto our driver/guide from hotel pick up to Positano and Ravello with various stops in between. He was very accommodating in tailoring the day to suit us great local knowledge and such a friendly man.

Yesterday, we went on the tour called Private Tour Amalfi Coast from Sorrento. This tour of the area includes spectacular scenery of the coastal areas and wonderful stops in several villages throughout. Our driver, Alberto, was amazing and very knowledgeable throughout. He provided us with much information, great photo opportunities, wonderful stops of sites and other recommendations. We worked with Sarah, who was very responsive through email and WhatsApp, to book 2 private tours from 2 cruise ports. We spent our day in Florence with Stefano and our day in Naples with Alberto. Both drivers were prompt with pick-up and very friendly throughout the day. Both were very personable, knowledgeable, and passionate about their regions and shared so much information with us. We enjoyed conversations with both about customs, food, families, laws, education, architecture, history and so much more. We stopped for many photos and were able to see so much more than we ever could have on a van or bus tour. Stefano drove us to Pisa, Florence, and San Gimignano, which I tried all day to learn how to pronounce with no success. So sorry, Stefano, but we loved the town! Alberto drove us to the Amalfi Coast, Positano, and Sorrento, which we also loved. We had time to walk both towns, shop and have lunch. Both drivers were very good about keeping an eye on the clock to make sure we were back in port with plenty of time to spare. Thanks for 2 terrific days in Italy and lots of great memories!!

The team lead by Sarah at AP tours made our recent stay in Sorrento such a great experience. We used the airport pick up service and transfer to Sorrento and the return service to the central train station at Naples. In addition we had a full day private tour with Alberto to the Amalfi and couldn’t have enjoyed it more. The day with Alberto was truly a day our family with never forget. What a knowledge, funny and good human he is.

Alberto is a true professional and gentleman. We feel so fortunate to have been assigned someone who speaks English very well, knows so much history of all things Italy. Gave us great tips. Alberto made our day most memorable. Patient and kind. Could teach us Americans a thing or two about that.

Angelo was an amazing tour guide with a great perspective on the Amalfi Coast. It is so nice to have someone that grew up in this area tell stories of growing up here. He was also just a wonderful person, calm and kind while driving one of the most difficult roads in the world!

It was ok. Rushing us all the time. Didn’t ask me what I want to do. In Positano I only had 50 mins and I was late 10 and the tour guy didn’t like it. Too much time on the road you spend major of the time on the road that visiting the cities. We only stop in positano 50 mins and 1:30 hrs in Ravello.

Luigi was amazing!!!! He took us around the Almalfi coast for the entire day. Not only did he explain clearly what the day would entail, including many quick stops for photos but how long we would have in each town. He was a great driver as well. Arrived on-time and handled the tricky road with ease. But it was Luigi himself, as our local guide, which made this a wonderful experience for our family. He shared history and stories as a life long resident of the area. He pointed out everything from fancy homes to all of the flora and fauna. He was so nice and friendly and we had a wonderful day of comfortable conversations. It was as if we were taking a tour with an old friend. It was the perfect last day in Italy after a 10 days trip. I would also like to commend the staff at the tour company. They contacted me soon after booking to let me Know we could leave a bit later in the morning since it was not the high season and it would not take as long. They even issued a small refund. All in all a perfect experience. If you book with this company ask for Luigi!

We had 2 different drivers pick us up in 2 different ports while on a cruise ship. We communicated with Sarah and she was always very responsive and helped us come up with 2 great trips based on the ports we were in. Both drivers, Alberto (Coca-Cola) and Arturo were excellent. English was good and with Sarahs planning we were the first on Mt Vesuvius and avoided all the crowds. We had a great lunch at a winery and very much enjoyed our time with AP tours and will definitely use again. Everything was right on time and so much nicer to have an expert drive the Amafali coast. Coca-Cola even made reservations for us in Revello so we had a great view of the coast. We will definitely use again.

Our drivers were so vital to our enjoyment of southern Italy. We had three different private drivers picking us up in 3 different hotels during our stay. Our travel planner who has visited Italy herself more than 60 times certainly knows who to pick as a driver service. We will definitely use them again in the future as they were prompt, professional, very polite and had a clean appearance and vehicle. Choose them with confidence you will not be disappointed.

Just wanted to say a massive ‘Thank you’ for the Amalfi coast organising with military precision! We were a group of 6 girls celebrating our 60th over 6 days on the coast. Sarah and the team are going a great job and are excellent at communication & quick responses. The cars were immaculate…8 seater Merc vans All the drivers; Giovanni, Alberto & Arturo were fab and so witty, humorous and caring! They spoke good English and were excellent guides en route too And skilled! Much needed for the long drives on the Amalfi coast. Our pick up and drop off to Naples station was smooth & efficient, as were our trips to Pompeii and Herculaneum, where other guides were arranged. We did day trips to Amalfi, Ravello, Positano, Paestum, the olive farms & Limencello factory from Sorrento where we were staying at Villa Puolo. Unfortunately we missed going to Vesuvius because of an accident en route and the traffic jams that followed. Alberto made every effort with plans B&C but we couldn’t make it …so Plan D worked, where he dropped us off at Naples for a walk about and some yummy treats. Sarah and the team are going a great job and are excellent at communication & quick responses. They made our trip so enjoyable and stress free! 100% recommended! Best wishes Sharmila

This is the second time we used Aptours. Only one word can express the experience, Outstanding! The detail to the arrangements to being met at the port and being picked up to the actual tour its self. Alberto our guide was so on top of everything. Being stuck in the tunnel to Sorrento due to a buckle in the road was not an issue and an alternative was suggested from our olive factory tour to time to walk around and enjoy Sorrento. Alberto guided us to where to walk and what to see. It was most enjoyable and glad we did it. A visit to a third generation farm with a family welcoming us with open arms to a wine tasting at the foot of Mt Vesuvius. What experiences! We had a great day in the Amalfi Coast and Pompeii with APTours! Our driver, Marco, picked up our party of 5 from Naples port and drove us down the winding roads of the Amalfi Coast to Positano, where we had roughly an hour to explore the coastline. He was very friendly as he introduced us to the area because it was our first time there. Due to time concerns we removed an additional stop in Ravello, then we explored Pompeii without a guide and returned to the port well on schedule. All in all I would recommend APTours, their pricing was also very reasonable for the services provided.

We were uncomfortable renting a car to drive on the narrow roads so we hired a driver to take us. It was SO worth it. He knew where to stop and was good about sharing information and pointing out sites along the way. It was raining all day so it was a good day for a ride and short stops in each town. He was flexible and gave us time to do what we wanted in each place. His recommendations were often in line with our research. Worth it!

This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Italy. My husband and I were picked up at our hotel for a private tour of Amalfi Coast. It was absolutely gorgeous and as pretty as the pics are, to see it in real life is breath taking. We were treated like a king and queen by Angelo and provided timing flexibility to stay at each of the 3 stops. In addition to learning all about the Amalfi Coast, we had some great conversations on Italy customs vs US. He also recommended an amazing restaurant in Ravello where we enjoyed a delicious lunch and provided some fabulous restaurants near our hotel in Sorrento. Angelo could not have been nicer or more accommodating. It was an amazing day!

Great tour of the Amalfi Coast. Knowledgeable tour guide. We have a fun beautiful day visiting Sorrento, Amalfi, Ravello, Positano. Without booking this tour we never checked all our wishlist.

The entire drive across the Amalfi Coast was fantastic, as was the stop in each town. Our driver Giovanni did a fantastic job with the private tour. I would recommend this trip without question!
